What kind of wonderland do you have?
« on: September 28, 2013, 02:52:39 PM »
Assuming you have a wonderland of course. It feels like a good topic for discussion, as i'm curious to see what everyone else does for wonderlands.

Personally for me, it changes every so often, to bring something fresh and new. at the moment, my wonderland is a penthouse on top of a fairly large building, with basic necessities like a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room etc... I don't like to create overly large wonderlands, as i just end up with plenty of empty space that i don't use, so small cozy places work best for my tulpas and I.

I concentrated really hard on making a beach wonderland and ended up with the Destiny Islands.

Works for us.

Our wonderland is huge and all over the place and therefore would be impossible to describe it very simply.

It does however have dimensional extensions, like a Tron-like extension and other "planets" we can visit.

I don't visit my wonderland enough sadly.
It's an island with a bungalow smack-dab in the center. To the right is a tree-rich hill with a fountain, to the left is a mansion hidden away in a forest.
You know what's fun? Mapping out the basic structure of the wonderland. I did that once. I should probably update it and post it here sometime.

I found it a lot easier to use a place out of my memories as a wonderland, since visualization will be almost automatic, but I didn't want to use the town I was currently living in, so I used Venice.
It's not 100% accurate of course, but it works and looks beautiful.

I drew a very poorly constructed map on paint of our main wonderland. We mostly occupy the valley and spend time on the beach but we do explore from time to time. There are various towns or villages, some empty, some occupied by NPCs. Most of the wonderland was constructed subconsciously rather than actively. Under the ocean there are very cool shipwrecks and ruins and such and a lot of exciting wildlife growing around it. It's very fun to explore and has always been relatively stable.

We do use other wonderlands, but this is what I would call our 'home base'

The house is two stories tall and much like the classic large boxy old Georgia home. It has a large front deck which takes up the whole front of the house and also a front balcony on the second story.

A fortress (More like a cave, really) made out of pillows, populated by life sized plushie versions of minecraft mobs and SCPs that will harmlessly attack you until you push them over.

A large house, with weird stairs that go in all directions. There's little concern for gravity or realism. It's surrounded by large plains that contain pretty much nothing out of the ordinary besides what you'd call "nature". There are also mountains, but I've never gone there. Distance is weird.

I have no idea about how to describe it.
It looks like a simple cliffside, but it's not just that...
Pretty much it's a cliffside, yeah, with a house, and there's mountains and everything. Also a forest. Pretty nice.
Yes, hi.

It's a kind of underground home behind a mirror vortex gateway thing, I let the tulpa make whatever she wants inside there, besides my having a room with a bed, dresser and some other basic things. Last time I was there there there was a gym, a pool, a small theater, a hallway, and a meditation room. I'm sometimes surprised by the changes when I visit. Other than that there is an exit to the wonderland in a mountain pass with access to a cliff with a nice sweeping view of a large stretch of wilderness. We have not explored much there beyond just that one place outside the door of the underground home in the mountain pass.

There are also flying dimensional discs that Seph used to take me on a tour of some different realities one time, which was pretty surreal.

We mostly work in my real world environment, inside Sephs wonderland home, or a black empty void.
