Title: A redo.
Post by: Sorryman on January 07, 2015, 09:22:15 AM
I think it's time to go ahead and do a reboot.

Somewhere close to 3 years ago I tried making a tulpa. I half-assed it thoroughly. I felt that I didn't do it right. I had countless doubts and never really seemed to get anything to work, but I still think Shy was "real" to a degree. I had her in my head for a few years but life took a turn for the worse. I stopped forcing, and ultimately, forget of her altogether.

So I've decided that I will begin traversing a slow road to starting again. I have an idea of what I'm getting into and know of my previous mistakes. This time around, I'm going to exercise as little control as possible. I won't be giving it a name and I plan on giving it a small number of traits that are purposely vague as can be.

It feels like the right thing to do - letting a failure remain just that, a failure. I won't be picking up on my previous work and have no plans to ever do so in the future. I want to start fresh, and it just feels right.

I haven't ironed out many details yet. I'm not sure what to put for the exact traits as of now. I will write more, even if no one reads this. I just don't know when I will write more, is all.

Thanks for reading.

Go force faggot.

When it comes to traits and stuff, I'm not even sure how much those affect the end result. I always saw any kind of personality forcing as narration for babies, as it's an easy subject to talk about. While it might influence the tupper at the start, as they live and experience the world, they are going to grow and become the person they really are. Not some random adjectives some random douche chose for them.

They give direction to the early forcing process. Talking about traits you want in a tulpa for a long time will help you understand those traits, find out what they mean on a deeper level and if you're doing it like how we did, you'll think about how those traits manifest in a person. Regardless of whether or not the traits you try to implant will be present in the tulpa, you will have a better understanding of the depth of certain personality traits, which will allow for a tulpa with more depth as well, I reckon.

And yeah, I agree with that mindset. Once your tulpa starts exploring the world outside you, talking to other people and learning from different influences, you'll probably find their personality developing much faster than it did before.

Dutch mentions that Fluttershy is hot.

I see it as a way to influence them from the start. It gives the personality basically a push in a direction until their experiences shape what they are. Basically what you said.

She had a human form for the majority of her time.

You'll always be my imagination, baby.

This is a sign that Sorryman has to force more or his thread will be turned into a circlejerk where we cyber all day.

I have been resting and visualizing my wonderland for the past two days.

It's virtually unchanged since it's last rendition. It's a small cottage, and pristine lake in front of it with some willow trees, and a flat grassy plain surrounded by snow-capped mountains.

It seems my skills at visualizing haven't degregated terribly -- I can still get a somewhat clear image if I concentrate enough, which is where I will utilize Eye-Bo to improve.

I feel this is a good start. I don't have the visualization problems I did the first time I tried years ago. Bodies don't morph and shit when I imagine them and images aren't so contorted. The good thing is that my skills can only improve from here on out.

Thanks to a hefty package of inspiration from Fede, I have managed to decide after deliberating for hours about a form.

Meet Anon.

I will be going for a much more carefree personality this time. One who's much more their own person and less submissive. I found the form appropriate for many reasons: the actual person's personality, the tattoos, the barely noticeable scar on the forehead. It just clicks to me.

That, and she's fucking hot I mean holy shit.

I have yet to come up with a name yet. I doubt I will. I'd like to leave it open for her to choose. After all, not too many people get to choose their name.

I know it's a small update but I'm slowly but surely making progress. I've been thinking more about the whole tupper thing as a whole and find myself, when distracted, thinking about my own soon-to-be tulpa. Things can only go up.

EDIT: The name will be Elizabeth.

I spent last night, for about 30-45 minutes, visualizing. I saw her doing various tasks, to get the feel for how she would feel for them, like plane rides, or exercising. I'm trying to get a feel of what she likes, what she aspires to do, why she likes what so does. I think you get it.

My visualization skills haven't deteriorated much, either, which certainly helps. I'm certain that with tools like Eye-Bo and some constants, my skills will become greatly improved.

I am using Fede's method for this go around. I feel it makes sense, has convenience, and focuses on the juicy parts, emotion.

Fuck you, Fede.

Are you doing belief implanting as part of the method? Make sure to put in some time every day.
