D16 Archives: Gabi and 16-Volte's Progress Report
« on: September 24, 2013, 07:34:30 PM »
Hello! My name is Gabi. Or LuckyCharms, whatever is preferred. I decided I would be more motivated to actually work on stuff with 16-Volte if I had a progress report that I feel I need to update every once and a while. So fuck it, here I am.

I've been forcing with 16-Volte for about 7 months. We started February of 2013 and he has been sentient and vocal for 6 of those months. We've been working on possession on and off, and he is capable of taking control of my hands, but not much else. But that's what this progress report is for. Progress. We do stuff now.

Usually I will be posting the updates, because 16-Volte is more of a chatty person than professional.

Well I guess that's it. More to come when I actually have progress.

Let 16-Volte talk sometime!
Chatty is good.
I think there's barely such a case as insta-tulpas, it's a rare when that sort of thing happens. If that truly happens good for you.
But tulpas are friends, not trophies with a made up story to impress people.

Today in History class I had some time after taking a test so I decided to practice some possession. I sat normally at my desk and told 16-Volte to give it his best shot and try and take over as much of me as possible. I tried my best to let go and let him have at it.

He started with the tips of my fingers to my hands to my arms, and started twitching and tapping my fingers. Then he used my hands to pat out beats to the song in my head. After some of that, he twitched my feet and some of my legs, but not much. For the first time ever he managed to take my torso, swaying from side to side slightly to get a feel for it. He also managed to get my neck for a little bit, dropping my head down unexpectedly, but quickly let go. He seems to be able to take over most parts of my body, but never all at once.

16-Volte also complains about being weak and not having enough energy. He says that the reason he can't do everything at once is because he's not "strong enough." We talked about it for a while, and I'm wondering if spending time with him more and actively involving him in my life will help give him energy. If anybody can help me out with this, that would be great.

Otherwise, things are going great with me and 16-Volte.

16-Volte and I are working to fix his lack of energy problem and it's going very well. Thanks to some help from the forum, we got that last push we needed to start working on active forcing more and the benefits are paying off. 16V is a lot happier and in turn so am I. We talk a lot more now and our progress is coming along very smoothly.

16-Volte was able to take over my legs, my shoulders, my neck, and some of my facial functions. It was a very strange experience for me and I felt weird afterward, but I think I'm getting better of letting go and 16-Volte is still experimenting with what he is actually able to do with the amount I'm able to give up. He still has trouble taking over more than one thing at a time, but we are going to keep trying. We have high hopes for the future and now the end goal of switching entirely doesn't seem so out of reach.

Also, in other news, he's finally managed to decide on one voice instead of jumping around with different voices, and it's a bit louder now.

Wow, nice Gabi. I'm happy to hear too that the energy problem is being mended.
I'm sure he'll get everything down soon, it sounds all downhill from here (I mean that in a good way).
But how do you just let go of control? I never got how that's supposed to be done.
And where did you get his name "16-Volte" from?

Thanks <3

And where did you get his name "16-Volte" from?

It's kinda difficult to explain. Like, have you ever just rested your arm in the same place for so long you feel like its kinda just there and it's not really being used by you and it's all empty and whatnot? It's kinda like that.

Also, about his name. My friends were making a video game and asked me to make sprites of the characters. Going through the concept art, I found that I really loved the one character 16-Volte. I made a lot of art for the character and I just really liked him as a whole. When my boyfriend told me about tulpas, I kinda wanted one as an older brother figure. And who better to fill that role than the swash-buckling steampunk miner I so loved? But anyway, the friend came up with the name, not me.

That reminded me of this video:

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. It slipped my mind.

16-Volte has been progressing very well with possession. We practiced full-body possession today and he did MARVELOUSLY. He walked me all the way down to the cafeteria and bought my lunch. He sat down next to my friends but crumbled when one of them asked me where I got my jacket. I took over and responded, but all and all I'm really impressed with our progress. He is still beating himself up over how he didn't know what to say to Chris, but I am really proud of him. C:

Better get used to tuppers dropping spaghetti everywhere when they're in control and someone is talking to you because they think they are you. It's pretty funny.

Oh my. That does sound like something he'd do.

My one friend knew it was 16-volte after he said "THIS IS MY FIRST TIME TALKING YOU SHOULD BE PROUD" at lunch today. So I'm safe for now.

Thanks for the warning though, haha

On that note, update for today's progress.

Let me just say, this kid is a fucking natural at possession. He's picking things up really quickly had a lot of firsts today. He said his first sentence, talked to someone for the first time, ate food, and dealt with someone who had no idea that he was possessing me. And he did fucking brilliantly.

He sat down at lunch with my friend Chris and started complaining about how the lunch lady (the other person who was talking to him) was being extremely unclear as to what exactly compensated a full lunch. Chris of course thought he was talking to me at first and was wondering why I was getting so much social anxiety from the freaking lunch ladies, but 16-volte stammered that it was his first time talking to someone and that he should be proud he got this far. He made a little more small talk and ate some of my food before passing control back to me and letting me finish my lunch. I am extremely proud of his progress.

Also, 16-Volte's reaction to food is the fucking funniest thing I've ever seen. He ate a couple bites of cafeteria grade ham and cheese sandwich and looked at it like it was the second coming of Christ. He was grinning like an idiot because he loved it so much, bless his soul. Chris was just laughing at him the entire time. I can't wait to have him eat apple pie.

On a final note, 16-volte will be on a skype call with one of my best friends today. Wish him luck. I will update after the call with what happened.

Talking to people is scary and I do not recommend it. 0/10. Very very bad. Do not approach unless you are a trained professional and know what you are doing.

Skype call update!

16-Volte talked with my friend Kyle on skype for approximately 25 minutes and he enjoyed every second of it. Kyle could immediate tell it was him and they had a really awesome time talking. Also, apparently according to my friend, he makes my voice deeper when he talks and his body language is a lot different. But it was a great experience and 16-Volte soon got over his anxiety. This was really good practice for speaking and I'm sure he should be able to handle face to face conversations really well tomorrow. I'm still going to limit his possession time to the first half of math and lunch, but he should be able to do more than small talk.

Anyway, I'm extremely proud of 16-Volte and his progress not only with possession but also with his problems talking to people. Of course, he's always going to be nervous talking to people, but at least he won't be standing there with his mouth hanging open not knowing what to say.

We are probably going to have him try some more foods tomorrow.

That Hebrew better not be something naughty, Mayor.

Also watch out with the food when possessing. If you have a tupper with a sweet tooth, you'll really start packing on the pounds. I'm going to die before I'm 30 due to tupper-related obesity.

Anyways, you're really at the point where you two are only going to start getting better and better. Enjoy possession hijinx. And enjoy the spaghetti, it's great.
