It's fine, gas is relatively cheap here, at least for me it's not that significant. I just don't like filling up so often.

I replaced the MAF and MAP, there's literally nothing left to replace. It burns oil like a bitch too. Whatever enough complaining, if it has a major problem then I'm buying a 4runner. Not the hybrid idiotic one, pre 2024.

In an effort to address the abnormally low gas mileage, I replaced the MAP and MAF sensors. The MAP was a Bosch part, the MAF was... not, it was $30 and Chinese. And that'll be the last Chinese part I'll ever buy.  I have some more parts for the Truck that are Chinese, way too long to return, They're paperweights now.

It's actually hard to find parts that aren't Chinese garbage. Oh well.

Fun fact, host has a friend working at Bosch. Lots of their parts are nowadays manufactured in - China. Not that anything made in Germany is necessarily better nowadays as the average German worker is a Yugo or Turk. Well, let's see how much more money you sink into that car. Beating a dead horse comes to my mind.

I just dropped another 350 on a dealer part, but this is more like a hobby to me anyway. I know the car's not worth even what I put into it at this point.

Does it at least look good? As long as you're having fun it's fine I guess. Not that you need it.
Our car has a small dent because some asshole must have hit it while parked. Impossible to fix, would basically cost as much as the car is worth. Not that I care much but it's annoying. We can only hope somebody else hits the same spot in a small accident and is caught red-handed so his insurance has to pay the repair.

No deductible? Whatever I can't imagine living in some backwards country with so many restrictions and nosey neighbors.

The car looks like a standard car, not special. What makes it somewhat ok is the all wheel drive. No it's not worth it, I wouldn't have wanted it, someone basically gave me a money sink.

I'm still baffled how you manage to do that with your muscle mass. How much time do you spend at the gym nowadays?
Host also stuffed himself with sweets for Christmas. Together with Easter the only occasion I allow that. It usually has no impact on weight. The upcoming trip will be lots of work with little food so I expect him to lose weight anyway.
If you really wanna burn calories go scuba diving. It's crazy, simply by breathing you lose a lot of energy. I remember when we did 3 dives per day that lasted less than an hour each, even 3 full meals plus a lot of snacks in between weren't enough to keep weight. Woke up at night to eat. Still host lost several kg in less than a week.

about 5 hours a week lately over two days. I do alternating exercises and concentrate on those that I want to improve faster like shoulder, which have improved greatly as a result.

I gained 4% mass but my gains at the gym were 10-30% over the last month which are crazy. Still the mass gains are probably not adding to the strength gains, obviously when I'm not starving, I'm stronger.
