Cat jumps up, angry at herself for being toppled by a wolf and lets out her anger on wolf 1 in a series of claw strikes.

[Round 5]

Yulya uses misty step, without an issue to gain ground north against the wind, then flies as far as she can given the strong wind pushing her back South and though she intended to fly as far East as she could roughly southwest of the Bandit from the wall. The best you can do is teleport 6 squares N 1 square E, then fly directly E 6 squares and that's being very generous on my part because the wind should really be pushing you 50FT south per 6 seconds, so your flight would actually be shorter, but I'll allow that the tree is buffeting the wind a little.

Ashley Panther disengages as a bonus action and sets up a pounce action on the female bandit from the South.

[Note embolding bond states that the connection is with two creatures within 30ft, it doesn't say the bond breaks if one creature falls unconscious. So Ashley is just barely within range of Alice as she makes her first attack, technically out of range for the subsequent bite.][HIT CLAW vs AC11 1d20+4+2d4=18][SAVE GRAPPLE DC12 vs STR 1d20+2=10][BITE HIT 1d20+4+1d4=11][CON vs DC14 1d20+2=11,5][DMG=4d4+6=14 magical piercing for claw and bite]

Ashley Panther manages to claw, knock her prone and grapple her, then land a successful bite, but she's tough and doesn't go under.

Yulya attempts to help out with Toll of the Dead. [WIS vs DC15 1d20=19] Unfortunately she resists the spell and is unharmed.

Meanwhile Cat jumps up and slashes at Winter Wolf 1 using Nick if possible to maximize her damage. [HIT vs AC13 1d20+6+1d4=15,21,16][DMG 1d6+4+2=11,11,10] She easily tears into the wolf hitting it with one paw and nick, knocking it down, then she pivots to the second wolf with one more strike of her dual hit ending it's reign of terror as well. Still seething from being humiliated by the wolves she sets her sights northeast toward her friends and then looks over at her pile of goo friend.

[Cat, you have movement left, if you choose to use it, I'll allow 15FT on difficult terrain so 7.5FT because you always use 1/2 your movement to get up or 15FT and I'll say whichever is less but rounded down to the nearest 5Ft to stay on the grid. So you can move 5FT in any direction as part of this turn or added to next turn.]

Cat can see Wolf 2, 4, and 5 already beginning their departure from this realm, their ash-like flakes blown away in the harsh wind, losing their anchor in the material plane as they begin to disintegrate.

The bandits, noting that there's still an angry Barbarian to the Southwest but seeing their compadre in trouble, the one from the wall flanks with his prone grappled companion and fires with his crossbow, shooting at Ashley Panther. While the other male bandit shoots another bolt her way. [HIT[FLANK] vs AC13 1d20+2,+2=(6,7)(6,19)][DMG 1d8=1]

Ashley Panther takes minimal damage.

The female bandit can still attack, with her sword readied, she is at a disadvantage, but with flanking fire, she's back to even odds, she can either attempt to free herself or attack and with Ashley Panther's currently low health, she decides to attack. [HIT[FLANK] vs AC13 1d20+4=17][DMG 1d10+2=12] The dice have spoken and no this was not any 'scripted event' and I was tempted to allow Ashley to survive it but this is not just a game to prove Alice wrong at every turn. [/i]Ashley Panther is knocked unconscious.[/i]

No longer grappled, the female bandit gets up and struggles to move Northeast as her companions both move East with notions to flee.

[Ashley Panther will successfully stabilize in 2 turns, but because of the Harsh Conditions she will die of exposure in 1 hour if not rescued or warmed. Make your moves. Reminder to Yulya, you cannot fly in any way North against the gale, but you can otherwise move that way.]

Cat again unsuccessfully tries to revive Alice, bestowing temporal HP on her. Furious, she dashes NE with Feline Agility.
Don't worry Alice Nya!
We'll take care of you soon Nya!

If Yulya manages to make Ashley Panther wake up, Cat will use her full Feline Agility movement of 30x3 halved by difficult terrain = 45 ft + 5 ft from the past round = 50 ft to stop the bandit from the wall from the West. If not she will stop the female Bandit from the West.
Nyaa Ashley Nya!
None of you are getting away Nya!

Seeing another one of her comrades go down Yulya has to act.
Get yourself together Ashley!

Yulya utters a Healing Word (lv1 spell bonus action) to heal Ashley Panther. If this is not enough to bring her back on her feet Yulya attempts to land 10 ft W and then walk northeast up to Ashley Panther to treat her with her Healing Hands. If Ashley is up Yulya will wait for her to move a bit east so she can more easily reach her to apply her Healing Hands

[Round 6]

[Suspenseful Music]

[The strange Blizzard continues to blow its terrible wind fiercely South.]

Seeing Ashley go down, Yulya immediately casts Healing Word as a bonus action waiting for her moves to decide what to do next. [1d4+5=6]

Ashley Panther stirs to the Bandit's dismay, disengages as a bonus action and pounces on the female bandit again.

[HIT CLAW vs AC11 1d20+4+1d4[Bless]=12][STR vs DC12 1d20+2=CR][CON vs DC14 1d20+2=CR][DMG 2d4+2=5] Despite Ashley Panther's best efforts, the bandit easily avoids her pounce and takes only 5 damage, leaving her well enough to continue her attack.

Cat rushes up from the South to catch the bandit from the wall and manages to barely reach him. She futher bestows temporary HP on Ashley Panther. [2d6=4]

Realizing now that they can't escape, the Bandits Rally. The male bandit sets up ranged cover fire with the female bandit gaining flank as the mysterious wizard organization Temporal Machine Wizards Association of Faerûn (TMWAF) continue to make this infernal wind ultra confusing, I wouldn't blame any of you from writing a strong letter of protest after this! The male Bandit shoots at Ashley Panther.

[HIT[A] vs AC13 1d20+2=(7,16)][DMG 1d10=2] Because of Cat's bestowal, it wasn't enough to take Ashley Panther down.

The female bandit attempts to hit Ashley Panther again with her long sword. [HIT vs AC13 1d20+4=(8,14)][DMG 1d10+2=12] She downs Ashley Panther again [Now at -6 she will need to be stabilized or will die in 4 turns. Additionally she will die from exposure in 1 hour.]

[Cue scripted, dramatic dying sequence as Alice suspected all along ಠ_ಠ ]

The female bandit then continues her attempt to escape West as the male Bandit continues his escape East.

The bandit from the wall is left with a choice to take the opportunity attack and dash or try to hit Cat, he chooses to run.

[Opportunity Attack HIT vs AC11 1d20+7+1d4=21][DMG 2d6+4+1+2RAGE=12]

The bandit from the wall is injured and pinned in place by her sentinel ability, he can't escape, so he strikes back with his long sword.

[HIT vs AC16 1d20+4=CR][DMG ((1d10+2)x2)/2=2] It was a critical hit! Though Cat took very little damage due to her RAGE resistance to normal damage, the strike was true, striking her chest he managed to wound her. [Cat has a wound that needs to be treated and Exhaustion 1, her speed has decreased -5FT and she will have a -2 proficiency penalty until she rests 8 hours.]

[Per my interpretation of her instructions] Yulya sees Ashley go down again and moves to her to render aid. She reaches Ashley Panther and uses Healing Hands on her. [2d4=4] A warm healing glow emanates from her hands surrounding Ashley Panther with a golden light. This stabilizes her but she remains unconscious. [She now has -2HP and is stable but again is still in danger due to the blizzard.]

[The battle continues! Make your moves.]

Cat is getting annoyed by the bandits and only more furious now that she got injured.
Yulya Nya! Time to finish this Nya!

She moves around the bandit to the East, waits for Yulya to set up a flank and then with advantage draws her Greatsword for a Heavy strike on the bandit. If he goes down, Cat will pursue the male bandit.

Yulyas patience has run out. This fight has to end!
She casts another Healing Word on Ashley Panther as a bonus action to get her back on her feet.
Then Sanctuary Domain spell (0MP) on Ashley as another bonus action to ward her from further attacks.
Yulya casts Toll the Dead on the female bandit, then goes to aid Cat in setting up a flank flanking the wall bandit from the west while protecting herself with her shield.

[Round 7]

The wolves continue to evaporate into flakes of ash, taken into the wind like dead embers as a dead werewolf's hair begins to fall away as it slowly transforms back into a dead beastmaster.

Yulya casts another Healing Word on Ashley Panther as a bonus action to get her back on her feet. Then Sanctuary Domain spell (0MP) on Ashley as another bonus action to ward her from further attacks.
Yulya casts Toll the Dead on the female bandit, then goes to aid Cat in setting up a flank flanking the wall bandit from the west while protecting herself with her shield.

[2d4=7] Ashley Panther awakens looking half dead, and very angry. A shimmering shield of impossible to comprehend lensing effects grow from her skin making you unsure exactly where she is, the resulting confusion makes her very hard to target. "If the warded creature makes an attack or casts a spell that affects an enemy creature, this spell ends." Ashley Panther's first move will be to attack, so this wasn't as useful as you might have hoped I think.

A discordant bell tolls on the field once again, ringing through the biting wind and snow and descends on the wary female bandit. [You did not say you were using the goblin staff, but since this is cast before you switched to your shield and you were using it before, I'll add it. Yulya has 1 MP and 3MP in her focus left.][WIS vs DC15 1d20=7][DMG 2d12+2+3=18] The female bandit screams in agony writhing in pain and looks more dead than even Ashley Panther but remains standing just barely!

Cat moves around the bandit to the East, waits for Yulya to set up a flank and then with advantage draws her Greatsword for a Heavy strike on the bandit. If he goes down, Cat will pursue the male bandit.

Cat moves into position and attacks the bandit from the wall. [HIT[A] vs AC11 1d20+7+1d4-5[HEAVY]=(CM,7+7+2-5=11)][DMG 2d6+4+2+1+10=29] She just barely hits him, but with her heavy blow it's an impressive blow that renders the bandit unconscious, he drops prone into the fresh snow. [If not stabilized this bandit will die in 5 turns.]

The tide of battle has turned and without a second to spare, Cat runs after the other, not getting far especially in her exhausted condition. [Technically she could only go 25FT/2 but I moved her 15FT]

Ashley Panther shakes off her wary condition and pounces after the female bandit. [HIT CLAW vs AC11 1d20+4+1d4=19][SAVE GRAPPLE DC12 vs STR 1d20+2=4][BITE HIT 1d20+4+1d4=(15,10)][CON vs DC14 1d20+2=6,17][DMG=4d4+5=11 magical piercing for claw but not bite] The female bandit is finally taken down as Ashley Panther warily holds her and won't let go. [She will stabilize in 3 turns.]

The final bandit dashes to the East without looking back, he's gone... [Ashley Panther could chase him down but tracking and chasing takes at least an hour, similar to hunting, and she's not able to withstand these temperatures in her current state. Alice could have but again, it requires tracking and hunting rolls and she's incapacitated, so it looks like he got away.]

The relentless wind howls...

[Make your moves, the battle has ended.]

Cat is too exhausted to pursue the fleeing bandit
Nyaa he got away Nya if only I was stronger Nya...

But Cat is glad the battle is over and turns to Yulya to get her wound treated.
You did great Yulya Nya without your support this would have ended badly Nya! I'm ashamed I got hit so severely by that amateur Nya!

Cat then begins to search the bandits and cuts her rope in half so she can tie up both.
Stabilize this one too Yulya Nya! Two sources of intel are better than one Nya!

Realizing the battle has ended Yulya falls to her knees physically unharmed but emotionally exhausted.

She speaks a prayer to Eldath and She She and then collects herself. She quickly tries to stabilize the dying bandit. Then she treats Cats wound as good as she can and proceeds to Alice to get her Healers Kit. Now after Cat is properly treated it is time to revive Alice with a last Healing Word.

Cat we need a warm meal especially Alice but I am sure Ashley too. Let us search the bandits and this beastmaster and then retreat to our tent with them!

Yulya aids Cat in investigating the beastmasters body and casts Guidance on her.

The grayish puddle on the ground begins to boil and slowly morphs into a humanoid shape again, wriggling and jiggling like a jelly pudding. Alice looks around in confusion.

Did we win? Did you beat the dragon? Is the cold gone yet?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfHENoO6LgA

Shivering and disappointed she's still in the snow, Alice turns to the werewolf-beastmaster's corpse.
Ah, well at least I still hav-

She looks at the disintegrating werewolf in horror
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
The hell is happening? Caaat! I wanted to make a fur coat out of him! And take his head to that Tailor in Neverwinter! The werewofl ears! They're ruined!

With tears in her eyes, Alice sees the animal ears falling apart as she touches them, turning into ordinary human ears.
And we fought so hard - all for nothing. Even in death that guy is mocking me! Cat, cut off his head! Werewofl or not, I'm taking it with me. What else does this guy have on him?

Learning that the party managed to catch 2 bandits Alice somewhat regains her composure.
Oh, nice work! Too bad one got away but we're gonna get something out of those two! I already have a plan! But I'm dying for real out here! I need a warm meal and some rest. Wait, can I eat that guy, Cat? It doesn't have to be anything fancy as long as you warm him up!

[Monday, Spring 24, 08:15, -9.9, Blizzard Conditions continue]
[The party gains 3580 XP (Alice gains 622XP, Ashley gains 778XP, Cat and Yulya gain 1090XP]

Though the last battle seemed like days of fighting, and that this blizzard would never end, only 10 minutes have passed. Cat begins to search the bandits and cuts her rope in half so she can tie up both. Yulya quickly tries to stabilize the dying bandit and with so many different options to do so, there was never any question as to if, she stabilizes the bandit and moves on to treating Cat's wound with the healer's kit. Then casts Guidance on her.

Cat's bandaged and proceeds to collect and tie the bandits. She searches everyone's inventory. [Coming soon.]

Yulya uses her last MP to cast Healing word on Alice. [1d4+5=8] Alice awakens...

Shivering, Ashley relinquishes her prey to Cat, giving a sorrowful look as if apologizing, presumably not for abandoning her to the wolves, her gaze stares off toward the last bandit's trail, the one who got away and she twitches, itching to chase, wanting to follow, needing to collect her prey but another shiver takes her over and something in that big cat brain sees reason and prudence, she hobbles over to her clothes, now covered in snow and takes them along with the pack in her mouth, carrying them as she retreats into the tent, trailing, blood, snow and pine needles into the pristine tent and slightly warmer conditions out of the wind to take a nap.

[Ashley panther gains 5C entering the tent and is comfortable there to rest.]

All three appear to be human, [PERCEPTION 1d20+1d4+3+2 scent=25] Cat senses nothing unusual about the Beastmaster or the others other then a very slight scent of perfume she'd smelled among shopkeepers and nobility, but no one in particular, they'd had more intimate dealings with nobility than just shopping, perhaps handshaking and deal making but this is speculation. Among the mostly mundane items, the brooches, swords, leather armor, gloves and boots, as well as fur lined hooded robes they were all wearing...

Inventory: (Prices and weights are each)

3 Long Swords [Good condition] [15gp 3lbs]
2 Suits of leather armor AC11 [Good condition, still being worn] [10gp, 10lbs]
1 Suit of Reinforced Hide Armor AC13 [Good condition, still being worn] [50gp, 13lbs]
1 Hunter's Bow 1d8 [Ranger class bonus +1] [200/800] [Good condition, mundane] [75gp 2lbs]
18 Arrows [Good condition] [9sp, .9lbs (total)]
18 Bolts, Jagged [adds 1d4 Bleeding] [Good condition] [9gp, 1.3lbs (total)]
2 Quivers [Good condition] [1gp, 1lb]
1 Modified Heavy Crossbow 1d10+2 [150/600] [Good condition, mundane] [Requires STR16 to gain +2 bonus] [150gp, 18lbs]
3 Fur-lined woolen cloaks [+10C resistance, winter gear, still being worn] [Good condition] [25gp, 4lbs]
3 Elvish Silver Brooches [Harbin will pay 9gp for each, there may be other interested parties.]
3 Daggers [Good condition] [2gp, 1lb]
3 Dagger sheaths [Good condition] [5sp, .5lb]
Coin purse 1 1gp, 150sp, 3cp
Coin purse 2 2gp, 97sp, 2cp
Coin purse 3 5pp, 40gp, 90sp, 41cp
3 Various Undergarments [Good Condition, still being worn] [Underwear x2, socks x2, stockings x1, panties x1, mamillare x1, undershirt x2] [Good condition] [5sp, .5lb]
3 Leather high boots [Good Condition, still being worn] [5sp 1lb]
3 Leather Gloves [Good Condition, still being worn] [2sp .25lb]
3 Water skins [Good condition, 4sp, .5lbs]

The two bandits don't have any identification but the beastmaster does.

[Alric Edmond, Adventurer's Guild (Triboar) Registered True Neutral 7th level Circle of the Land (Coast) Druid with a silver plate, Hero of Baldur]

In addition to above he has the following items: [Yulya's Identify and Investigate 1d20+5=11]
1 Whistle of the Lost Sailor: This white whistle seems to be carved from ivory, it's heavy for its size and has a ship embossed lightly on the top [New condition, value requires appraisal] [.25lb]
1 Curious Mantle [unknown, 1lb]

Yulya sees that there's an additional shall or mantle draped around the beastmaster that exudes magical energy. This is likely the item he used to resist magic but it will require proper identification.

3 unknown rings [unknown, negligible weight]

Again, Yulya can only sense these rings are magical, two have a strange glyph etched on them but that's all she can figure. The third is exquisitely stylized to look like the face of some sort of animal. Two ruby eyes glare back at her. Like the other bandits, other then personal water skins they have no food or packs, presumably they're still in the mine if they had them at all.

Let's retreat to our tent with them!

Though the tent will physically fit 6, a certain black panther hisses and bristles at any notion of bringing those bandits inside. She's not having it.

Even in death that guy is mocking me! Cat, cut off his head! Werewolf or not, I'm taking it with me.

[Actions Required. Though Alice has requested certain actions, such actions may be frowned upon by the guild or exacerbate certain relations. Actions such as these have reverberating consequences in many ways, the gods are also always watching. As leader, Yulya will take the brunt of the responsibility for actions performed by the party. (Of course The Cat God couldn't probably care less about these carcasses.)

Cat shrugs and tosses his identification plate to the rest of the loot

1 Whistle of the Lost Sailor: This white whistle seems to be carved from ivory, it's heavy for its size and has a ship embossed lightly on the top [New condition, value requires appraisal]

Cat turns her attention to the bandits and drags them back to the tent. Seeing that putting them inside next to an angry Panther is not an option, Cat has to improvise. She drags them under the fir branch shelter that was erected over the tent so that hey are protected from the wind

The two bandits don't have any identification but the beastmaster does.
[Alric Edmond, Adventurer's Guild (Triboar) Registered True Neutral 7th level Circle of the Land (Coast) Druid with a silver plate, Hero of Baldur]
Alice bursts out in laughter as Cat reads the plate
Former hero of Baldur! Whatever a Baldur is. The hell was he doing in there? Are we getting dragged into a feud between towns or something? I'm sure Sildar didn't tell us the whole story. A bunch of squatters my ass. Looks like nobles are also involved, Cat! And I bet orbs as well...

Nyo I think this guy will cause us enough trouble the way he is Nya! He was still a fellow adventurer Nya not some monster Nya or even worse a noble Nya. Not that he fought bravely Nya but lets leave his body whole Nya...
Alice is slightly disappointed.
Haa too bad. I would have loved to walk into that guild he was in and put his head on the reception desk...

Cat looks at the whistle and frowns
Nyaa we can't take that Nya let's leave it here Nya! We'll take everything else back to the tent Nya!
Alice interferes
Hey, at least toss that whistle over the palisades if not his head. They don't need to straight up find that guy here. I wish we could put it on some animal so they chase after it.
Alice looks for any creature she could catch and attach the whistle to, as absurd as it appears in this blizzard

Cat cuts branches and attempts to start a fire to set up a pot and cook a meal.
We will heat rocks Nya and place them next to them Nya that should keep them warm Nya they have good clothing Nya much better than ours Nya!
I will help you too, just tel me what I can do! I gotta rest but let's make sure we have a fire, food and living bandits before that!
Alice assists Cat to the best of her abilities

Shivering, Ashley retreats into the tent, trailing, blood, snow and pine needles into the pristine tent and slightly warmer conditions out of the wind to take a nap.
Alice looks into the tent and the dirt Ashley Panther had dragged inside with an expressionless face.
You fought well so I'll overlook this otherwise unforgivable behavior this time. This time...

Alice spreads out in the tent and absorbs the pine-needle scented blood-flavored dirt on the floor.
Wake me when lunch is ready or the bandits are up! I don't wanna miss the show!

Yulya is relieved everybody - except the beastmaster - is up and breathing. She relaxes a bit and starts to investigate the beastmaster

[Alric Edmond, Adventurer's Guild (Triboar) Registered True Neutral 7th level Circle of the Land (Coast) Druid with a silver plate, Hero of Baldur]
Yulyas face turns pale as her desire to run and hide intensifies. But there is nowhere to run away to

But- But... SheShe said everyone we faced was an enemy! I had wanted to parlay with them seeing they were human but it seemed pointless after this divine intervention. I hope the bandits will tell us about this man and why he was here. Oh God Freya will be mad at us again!

Looking at the adventurers silver plate Yulya shakes her head.
Why did you do this Sir Edmond? Siding with bandits! For money? The wealth of this mine? What a shameful end for a hero...
Yulya decides to thoroughly investigate his other belongings when there is time

Alice interferes
Hey, at least toss that whistle over the palisades if not his head. They don't need to straight up find that guy here. I wish we could put it on some animal so they chase after it.
Yes I agree. We ran into serious trouble with this thing last time. I wish we could recover this whistle but I could never sleep soundly if we take it with us. Not unless we have confirmed where its counterpart is. Maybe we can do so after - if - we manage to clear this mine.

Yulya shivers at the prospect of killing as many humans as they had killed goblins in the last battle.
For now please get rid of that whistle!

Yulya Nya I will need your help Nya! Collect more fir branches as bedding Nya we can't leave them on the snow Nya!

Cat cuts branches and attempts to start a fire to set up a pot and cook a meal.
We will heat rocks Nya and place them next to them Nya that should keep them warm Nya they have good clothing Nya much better than ours Nya!
Yulya nods and starts helping Cat.
Certainly!
I hope we can make them talk this time I trust you on this Cat! Be civil! They are still humans. I must rest as well to regain mana before they wake up. What do you think how long we can keep them here?[/quote]
