Alice still is excited.
Even if we can't make things go kaboom, it's still toxin and acid!
We should cook that outdoors, not in there.
Yulya is not convinced.
You would need Cat for the cooking and we cannot risk having her poisoned or blown to pieces! Let us leave this for later.

A very large Ocre Jelly fills the small cave ahead (W2).
Cat is very familiar with these creatures as they're native to this area and commonly found in caves. She knows that this one is especially large and especially hard to kill. She knows not to use slashing weapons on it and to avoid physical contact as it is highly corrosive, luckily it is slow and unintelligent but still something that needs to be eliminated if resting in this area is desired.
Yulya is relieved Ashley appears to have enough common sense not to attack this hazardous creature with her fists. Learning details from Cat she tries to communicate to Ashley that the ooze is poisonous and corrosive and must not be touched as Ashley's body would not survive this. She recommends Ashley should pick up her shield gain as soon as possible.
Stay away from this monster and keep a safe distance! Only attack it from range! Can arrows even damage it Cat? Does it have a core?

Alice can barely be stopped from running up and jumping at the creature in delight like a child hopping around on a water bed
Yulya catches Alice by an ear and drags her back.

Stop that nonsense!
Even the mechatherial Goddess in Ashley's body is more reasonable than you! This is a dangerous monster that would even destroy your body! Search the boxes nearby if there is anything useful! Melee is out of question and arrows will also be destroyed even if  they hit. Are there any scrap piercing weapons we can throw at this ooze?

Yulya hopes that Cat or Alice can deal ranged damage first. If so she will cast Toll the Dead. If not, Sacred Flame.

Boo, I bet nobody even tried taming it!
Alice rushes South to the shelves to see if she can find anything useful against a giant ooze, especially throwable piercing weapons.
If we had caustic soda or another lye we could neutralize it!

Cat calls everyone to keep a safe distance.
Do not get close to it Nya! It will corrode any weapons Nya and splash you with acid and poison Nya! Don't use poison arrows Alice Nya its a waste Nya!

Alice can barely be stopped from running up and jumping at the creature in delight like a child hopping around on a water bed
Heee, this guy looks funny and jiggly! Nice color too!
Caat, can't you tame that ooze? It doesn't have ears but I still like it!
Nyaa are you stupid Nya? It would kill us all even if it wasn't hostile Nya! It's poisionous and corrodes everything it gets close to Nya! But it's slow Nya so we can easily outrun it Nya!

Can arrows even damage it Cat? Does it have a core?
Nyaa I don't think it has a core but arrows should work Nya just don't try to slash it Nya! It's tough Nya so this may take a while Nya!

Cat moves 10ft SE to get a clear shot, shoots an arrow at the ooze.

Yulya's mind becomes clouded, she's beginning to lose focus as the Curse of Resurrection takes hold, she's becoming delusional [Disadvantage on all ability checks and saves, -4 charisma. It will take 32 hours rest to fully recover.]

[Round 1: Embolding bond has expired, Channel Divinity has expired, Cat is no longer enraged, {Ashley} is at full health, Yulya is exhausted level 4, this affects proficiency, now 0, and speed -20ft, Alice is exhausted level 1, proficiency is now 0, -10ft movement from this and her wound, she will fully recover with 8 hours rest.]

Learning details from Cat she tries to communicate to Ashley that the ooze is poisonous and corrosive and must not be touched as Ashley's body would not survive this. She recommends Ashley should pick up her shield gain as soon as possible.

{Ashley} looks back at Yulya and speaking in an elegant, beautiful, melodious tone that Yulya recognized as Celestial she speaks, "I understood your friend's concern when she spoke it, and I deny your request." She then puts her hand over her mouth as if shocked, she is somewhat surprised by the tone, "For this body to be useful, risks are necessary."

That's all Yulya gets before she sees Ashley pick up to large stones and rush the slime, assailing it with stone fisted blows.

[HIT vs AC14 1d20+10G+2+1F=(25,16,CR)][DMG +5 Charging, 3d4+3+6=15+5] Like a machine her fists move impossibly fast, slamming the rocks into the beast and though her aim is impeccable, her damage is lackluster, she disengages and pulls back after three quick strikes and looks around, thinking. The beast's rubbery texture blocked the effectiveness of the critical hit, doing no additional damage.

Though her attacks did some damage, the slime seems no worse for wear, minimal damage at best. [With this advanced soul she has a native 60ft movement as if hasted.]

Cat shoots off an arrow at the ooze.

[HIT vs AC14 1d20+4=22]

It's a direct hit and the ooze absorbs it, the wooden shaft seems to sizzle as it enters the body, there was no damage.

Alice attempts to find something useful to hit it with and aside from dull picks, gears, and other tools, a large hammer is the only useable weapon, but she doesn't have proficiency in it. However, since she's exhausted, her proficiency is already zero.

Seeing the ooze was damaged, Yulya casts toll of the dead. [Presumably using the goblin staff]

[WIS vs DC15 1d20=9][DMG 1d12+3=13]

The spells succeeds in melting a hole in the slime, it seems to flinch away but the hold is quickly sealed. It has taken minimal damage once again. Despite being slow and lumbering, it manages to stretch and move 30ft West, blocking off the way for Cat to retreat and attacks {Ashley} with a pseudopod strike.

[HIT D vs AC12 1d20+9=(18,20)][DODGE 1d20=CM][DMG 2d6+2 Blunt + 2d4 Acid=13]

Ashley attempts to dodge the pseudopod but failed miserably and was nearly dropped by the hit.

[Cat gets a free attack on the ooze this turn from Sentinel, so your next move will have two attacks in effect.]

Yulya's mood is deteriorating rapidly, the stress of battle has triggered her curse and will continue to plague her, some of her spells, like toll of the dead, do not rely on her ability or saving rolls, so they are unaffected. In 3 turns she will be forced to disengage from battle and seek a place to rest, she will not be inclined to help in any way.

[Make your moves]
