Cat manages the hit, the blunt arrow strikes and bounces off the ooze, but it's somewhat pathetic considering what she's capable of. She retreats into the darkness under the low ceiling of the crevasse, it seems to go on endlessly at a slight decline into the darkness.

Like Cat, Alice can't let this unanswered. She dashes at the ooze 60ft (action) and attacks it with flurry of blows+hand of harm for 2Ki points (I don't think I've spent one until now).

With the last of her energy, Yulya casts Bless on {Ashley} and Alice.

Cat takes up 2 rocks and attacks the ooze with her fists.

[HIT [A] vs AC14 1d20+6=(CM,13) (10,13) (9,16)][DMG 1d4+2+4=10]

{Ashley} gains 5 HP again and follows suit with her attacks again.

[HIT [A] vs AC14 1d20+10G+2+1F+1d4B=(26,23) (34,23) (19,24) (CM,26)][DMG 4d4+4+8=23]

Alice joins in and uses two unarmed strikes with flurry of blows and adds hand of harm.

[HIT [A] vs AC14 1d20+5+1d4B= (19,23)(11,25)][DMG 2d6+6+HH 1d6=20]

The ooze is pummeled beyond recognition and it's outer layer is unable to keep it together, it rips open and spills acid to a 10ft radius, those wearing foot protection aren't affected, instead their footwear are slightly damaged one condition level.

[2d4 acid=6 /2 for resistance=3][Let me know if you aren't wearing shoes.]

The slimy beast is defeated as it's ooze soaks into the cracks and falls down long drafts below.

Cat jumps at the rocky wall and propels herself over the ooze.

Now let's look after Yulya Nya! We gotta find a secure resting spot Nya we can explore the goods later Nya! I recommend the wooden platform South of the elevator Nya it's away from the entrance and thers should be no draft Nya!

Damned, these were expensive! I really should wear some miner's boots if I find some that fit me! We should wipe the acid off in the snow outside!

Alice takes her wofl cloak from her backpack and dons it.
Outside of combat it's not exactly hot in here...

Yeah I gotta rest too! Let's inspect that platform. There's also the one near the entrance but I guess you're right, could be drafty over there.

By the way, do you think Daniella was ever in here? Where did they sleep? In the room with the bugbear family - she conveniently never mentioned? Where are their backpacks? This makes no sense...

Left over in the pile of acid are several bones, enough to be a complete humanoid, it's size and the shape of the skull indicate it likely was a goblin. There's also a rather ornate looking hand axe, some arrow heads, rings of steel or iron, some shiny chunks of ore (well etched), and what appears to be coins. Someone would have to brave the gelatinous acid pile to extract them.

Additionally, some of the acid itself is somewhat sticky and if prepared properly could coat weapons or arrows. It would need to be reduced and added to a binder. The resulting mixture would be more potent than the poison you used.

Well done everyone that was far more resistance than I had anticipated. A shame we could not trust Daniellas information. Cat can you set up the tent and prepare a meal?

The area Cat outlined is a nice wide area to set up the tent, and there's no issue doing that. While you're settling down, {Ashley} begins undressing and without a word she's nude before you can ask. She folds her clothes and places them neatly in a small pile then with a quick smooth motion she seems to kneel but before her knee hits the floor she's transformed into a fully metallic sleek, violet-hued, black panther. She bolts off impossibly fast and she's gone without a trace towards the entrance.

Aside from Inside the two bags, the only other things on this platform are a pickaxe and a large pan full of shattered coal, there are no coal veins that you've seen on this level, so it's unclear where this coal came from, it's clearly not used in any of the equipment on this level.

Alice opens the bags to find supplies:
12 dry rations
6 jerked meat (1 lb ea)
1 large jar of pickles (4 lbs)
1 fur-lined jacket (2 lbs)
1 small cooking knife (.2 lbs)
1 frying pan (2 lbs)
10 kindling (.1lb ea)
1 flint (.1lb)
3 linen cloths (1lb ea)
1 water skin full of water (6lbs)
10 wrapped meals worth of hard tack (1lbs ea)
1 pair of fur lined gloves

They could easily be from the bandits, the bags could have been used as packs.

Nyaa they left us some useful supplies Nya! Even kindling. They must have cooked there Nya or at least warmed themselves with the coal pan Nya.

Cat looks at the presumed bandit rations with slight disdain, if not pity.
Nyaa imagine having to live from hard tack, jerky and pickles Nya! But at least we won't run out of food here Nya we can use it for seasoning our own rations Nya. Having some variation is important, Nya Nya!

Cat prepares 4 meals:
1lb wild dog meat
2lbs hard tack
1/2 lb jerky
1/2 lb pickles
She softens the hard tack and shredded jerky in water, adds a serving of spices and kneads the mass into small dumplings, cooking them in her pot, then slightly frying them in the pan together with the wild dog meat. The fried dumplings and meat are served with pickles.

Oh, looks like Ashley Nya is hunting on her own Nya? Well I'm sure the food won't be wasted Nya!

Alice and Cat are fully healed, Alice is no longer exhausted, Yulya will need to rest an additional 21.5 hours to fully recover, the ring of quick casting has replenished and everyone has 5 temporary hit points again. Use your time wisely.]

Cat collects ball bearings, caltrops and the net. She hones her weapons and remaining arrows.

Yulya briefly wakes to bestow temporary HP with AID on Alice, Cat and herself as Ashley is nowhere to be found.
I'm worried about that demigoddess. Who knows if she can control her body in Panther from properly. So troublesome! Please see if you can spot her outside!

Relieved there is no trouble, Yulya returns to sleep.
Wake me if something unusual occurs or you need help! Be careful! I do not trust the peace.
