Cat goes 20 ft East to provide more light

Finding nothing, Alice moves 5ft East. Cat moves up and Yulya follows. Ashley walks casually forward as she looks for more ore samples along the walls and ceiling.

"Yulya, if I spot something, will you fly up and get it?"

Nixie and Helga advance.

You see another passage dead East heading up into a chase, there is light coming from the Northeast tunnel with tracks headed up. The tunnel directly South of Alice, past the trap, is well lit. More than one set of boot prints are headed South and East just on the other side of the rail tracks from Alice, enough sets to lose count of them have disturbed the dust recently. Though they're all about the same size, most have 3/4 to 1/2 the gate of the longest set indicating long legged and short legged beings. Though the boots vary, they're similar in construction.

Ashley walks casually forward as she looks for more ore samples along the walls and ceiling.
"Yulya, if I spot something, will you fly up and get it?"
Yulya stares at Ashley and her carefree attitude with a mixture of disbelief and horror. Dark memories from the last time she flew up and fetched something for Ashley surface.

Uh... certainly but I would prefer to secure this level first. I can only use this transformation once per day and it allows me to stay clear of bulettes. They should not be able to sense me while I am flying. The ore samples will not run away!

Yulya signals Alice to advance further East and moves 5ft east of Cats current position and again searched for traps that could lay ahead in the tunnel leading South and further East

Cat hides the light of her lantern while crossing the tunnel leading S and moves 25ft East. Only then she lets a minimum of light fall into the tunnel so she and Yulya can take a look. Cat listens and sniffs the air if there are both glowstones South and North.

If Cat sees no immediate threat in the Southern tunnel, Alice sneaks 20ft E and looks into the passage heading North, presumably where the elevator shaft is.

Moves are made, nothing unusual pops up. Indeed the mine shaft is there, only blackness can be seen up or down. Improvements over the other shaft clearly show this is the newer shaft.

Ashley holds position at this time.

Cat also holds her position, looking at whatever direction Alice is taking.

Finding nothing of interest, Alice moves back West to Yulya and takes the tunnel South. She advances up to the planked floor and taps it with her pole, looking for traps.

Yulya follows behind Alice into the tunnel leading south and searches the area for traps. If there are any that prevent going further she directs Alice to take the other tunnel south of the elevator. In any case she retreats to her current position at the end of her turn.

Alice leaves the lit area near the elevator and Yulya files South with her looking for traps.

[1d20+5=13]

The monotony of color, sound and atmosphere seems to blend everything together. The area south is lit just like on other levels, you smell the scent of glowstone and begin to hear that familiar hiss from said stone.[/i]

Ashley follows Yulya, getting bored by the silent searching once again.

"Why are you crawling in the dust?"

Ashley's mind quietly wanders to those times when Alice cleans Yulya and Cat and mixes it with Yulya getting covered in dust and grosses herself out. She directs this to no one in particular and no one notices or pays any mind to thee context of her expressions or meanderings.

Helga wanders to the Area south of the Elevator while Nixie continues to take rear guard.

Alice notes a pretty hefty door to the south.

There's stonework surrounding it making this look more like a vault seal than a bedroom door as in the first level. Countless boot prints follow the path South and continue under the door.

Cat comes a little closer and peeks at the door with unease
Nyaa you think there's another Mormesk-ghost inside Nya?

Alice grins
I hope so, that would mean everyone in there is already dead!

Anyway, my job scouting is done!
Alice hands the Ring of Dark Shadow back to Yulya to boost the group's overall Stealth.

[Yes, stealth for the group is based on the one who has the least stealth.]

Yulya takes back the ring with gratitude and puts it on. She whispers to Ashley
Do you want to take a look at the door? I doubt we could open it silently - if at all. But that is your specialty! Be careful though I would build some sort of trap or alarm system here if I were them! The only other way would be to dig through the bulette tunnel on the other side I guess. Not that I fancy making vibrations in a dead end tunnel leading directly to the bulette nest...
