Cat is in the way no matter what I do.
Especially likes to sit on books and sheets of paper. Even more when I'd like to read them.

Cat had a clogged nose and couldn't purr for several days, only made scary wheezing sounds. Was about to take her to the vet but things have improved greatly in the past 2 days. Purring is back to normal.

Good. Well, cats don't really purr through the nose so that probably wasn't it, but cats can get sick anyway. And it's good to be on the lookout if it doesn't get better soon.

Especially if you don't vaccinate.

I could probably buy a car from what I have spent at the vet over cat's long life. But then again I don't need another car, I need cat.
Technically you're right, still it seems cats cant purr properly if you obstruct the nose. At least the 3 I've tested.

Anyway, cat seems to be fine again. Has stepped on my keyboard today, opening over 9000 browser instances.
Who needs malware when you have cat?

Excellent work cat.

Making sure to get a healthy cat (as far as you can know, hard to do with rescues but legit breeders will test their kittens for most common stuff), feeding them a good diet and making sure they get vaccinated against whatever is an issue in your country helps a lot. I don't really spend all that much on the vet bills even though I go get the cat's teeth cleaned every few years.

Then again I probably spend a lot on the food. :>

Last week I met a cat that was supposedly kinda retarded named Sherlock that was orange and white but he was super loving and kept crawling on me and nuzzling me and we hugged for like an hour and he got hair all over me

I'll never forget him :(

Downer but I just learned Sherlock died recently, poor little kitter cat had heart problems. All he ever did was love and nuzzles but the world didn't cared

I'll still never forget u <3

Also friend got new cat that's bob-tailed and teeny-tiny, she's good and cute, fills the void.

Brought a cardboard box from the supermarket.
I do that once in a while as it is the perfect present for cat besides food

Cat hopped in before I even put it on the floor and now spends most of the day inside.
The box has a lid with a rectangular opening just wide enough to get in and several small holes on all sides for looking and pawing through.

While already awesome for one cat, the real fun starts when neighbour cat comes over and one is lurking in the box and the other outside. Both are old but they behave like kittens while playing, jumping in and out. It does escalate once in a while but generally they get along well.
The only thing better than a cat is moar cats.

I gave cat a toy. It's like, a mouse and it makes sounds? Good thing they finally realized cats don't really squeeze toys and this one doesn't have to be squeezed to make a squeaky sound, you just have to move it. And it's a pretty soft sound luckily. Still I wonder if the neighbors enjoy this squeak, squ-squeak squeaksqueaksqueak in the middle of the night.

What about you?
I think I would have thrown cat and mouse out after half a minute.

Man, I hate these squeaky toys.
Some years ago the neighbours got their dog a 'squeaky' bone, but it didn't sqeak, it yelled like a grown man in pain. Really WTF? Who invents such shit? Sounded like someone being tortured in their garden. I mean at first it was really funny but after a while the noise was just horrible. Luckily the thing didn't last long.

Cat has the christmas tree as a toy with lots of decorations to bat around. Interestingly in all my life no cat has ever attempted to climb the tree though we always had huge ones, not some pleb-tier shrub. And by huge I mean more than 3m. But cats prefer to lurk underneath.

Well cat sleeps when I sleep, so I don't wake up to it. I just get to listen to it when I wake up so he can wake up too. Good thing the squeak is a pretty soft sound - and it's cute to watch him murder what he might think is a living thing with such vigor.
