Unfortunately my cat can't go outside but every insect that makes it inside is also chased

Cat killed a wren.
And here I thought we'd go without ded pirds this year. I'm surprised they can still pull it off in their geriatric state but it looks like the cats have switched to crocodile mode lying motionless until the prey comes too close.
