We need cats for this month.

Also, now that I've been waking up early I have noticed that there are two cats lurking around the streets at that time. One of them really gets startled when I open my window, the other one's like "who cares". I would post a pic but I don't have one.

Cat below unrelated.

Today I slept and cat wanted to sleep next to me and I woke up to find cat lodged between me and the wall, sleeping deeply. It felt like Tetris. Cat was the square piece.

Cats can take the form of every tetris piece and match into the available space perfectly. Though I often wonder why they don't choose a more comfortable position.

Have you ever tried to wash cat?
I tried after cat rolled in dogshit on the street.
It didn't go very well...

I've heard from several people that their cats actually enjoy bathing but I am yet to see that.

You do it very gently.

I wouldn't lower a cat in a tub of water, just fill something with warm water and transport it to a cat you hold in place with another hand. Close the door and let cat wander around too if you can't hold them, do this where you don't mind things getting wet like in the bathroom. Protecting your own arms is a good idea. And be calm.

Sounds good in theory but I doubt that cat would just play along.

And no, sticking a cat in a tub of water really isn't the smartest idea. Rather suicidal.
Nowadays I just lock them out until they've cleaned themselves. It's strange, most cats here barely mind rain and often stay outside until they are completely soaked. But heaven forbid if I drip a bit of warm water onto them. Cats are weird.

Well that's like, weird water?!

In the future you might consider introducing cats to water early. I wouldn't to unnecessary baths, but a big tub of water with toys so you can play?

Everyone at my place has finally decided we want a cat but we're not sure what kind

I want a munchkin cat but two of the other guys think they look retarded or some shit, so idunno.

All I do know is that I should probably be the one to get it, as my brother and I are going to be looking for a new place in four or five months and I want cat to be with me

We want something semi-young, but probably not a kitten. Something from a shelter, if I can bring myself to step into one without crying because I can't adopt them all.

Hopefully a super lovey cuddly cat that can purr purr purr while I pet it and watch tv.

I really dislike munchkins just like how I dislike flat-faced cats: I don't want to introduce problems cats normally wouldn't have to cats. Nature has already made them perfect!!!!

If you want a shelter cat, you probably don't want to be thinking of a breed anyway. Unless it's very common where you live for people to abandon their potentially very expensive pedigree cats. Sometimes cats (and other animals) are abandoned because they have issues, so you should try to figure out why that particular cat got there in the first place.

Sounds like you probably want a pretty low energy cat that is affectionate. It can be hard to properly see how affectionate a cat would be in shelter conditions where there's lots of people who might not be able to spend a lot of time with the cats to socialize, but if there's a particular cat that likes to greet and hang out with with the humans that do come to look at them, that might be a good place to start searching.

Though many cats will start being different once you earn their trust. Also, if you start looking for younger cats, remember that 4 months is around the time when any respectable breeder would give out their kittens. Avoid anyone that is willing to give you cats when they're like, say, 8 weeks old. Or EDUCATE them if they're not breeders and they had whoopsie babies and have no idea about cats.
