Haha no, fines for jaywalking are something like $20, but a multiple of that for repeated offenders. I admit the pedestrian path fines seem excessive but we have problems with food delivery guys riding scooters there at full speed and endangering people. You mustn't imagine that you'll get sent to jail just because you briefly strayed from a bike onto a pedestrian path with nobody around, but if you are actually posing a threat to public safety and order with reckless behavior, this will have consequences. We don't want to end up like Germany.

It's little bits of chopped pig face in natural gelatin. It tastes like cured ham with little chewy chunks of fat and gristle thrown in.

I like fat and gristle which is why I make steaks from chuck roast which is way more marbled than other steak cuts.

I admit I've never heard about head cheese either. All I know is you can make animal glue this way.
