Kind of odd summer, it hasn't gone over the average all spring and summer, no super hot days, no monsoon, and the ocean temperature os spring-like still, so the constant on-shore flow is a cool wind.

It's 76 with 70% humidity as usual. The dewpoint is about 66 in fredom units and that's the average. The extreme can be as high as 100 with high humidity depoint in the 80's.

My day job is doing readiness training and they kicked me out. I don't do day job stuff at home and I'm caught up with night shift so I am moving my fence to my property line to maximize back yard. I'll gain about 1 square horse! Every little bit counts!

Same here. Spring was unusually dry, Summer wet and cool like in host's childhood.
Wait, you got fired from your day job? What's readiness training? Sounds like prepper stuff.

You're the second person who doesn't understand that they kicked me out means I need to work from home. In your case it's understandable because I worded it stupidly.

I am asked to not work in the office for three days so they can do disaster drills with the pee-ons.

Well yes you did word that stupidly but I figured it meant something else. Not that I understand what you're talking about now.

What will you do with the additional area you gained in your garden? We planted a lot of tomatoes this year. Far too late as always, they're just flowering now but grow well and strong. They're special, I will show them when we manage to get ripe ones until frost.

Hahaha brilliant!

We have our Kolibris here too they're called Sunbirds
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunbird

They don't hover like Kolibris but fill the same role pollinating flowers

I told you the lens of my phone camera is clouded. I really need to buy a new phone with a good camera.  But I am not that much of a photographer or outdoor person as Bernd. So don't expect wonders.

Haha a fake beggar cat!
We have a lot of stray cats but some also have a home and just roam the neighborhood to beg for additional food. Keeping cats in public housing was forbidden for decades but the ban has recently been lifted. We now have the Cat Management Framework which has mandatory registration for cats. Stray cats will be caught, neutered and either adopted or released. We don't cull cats anymore. There are also several groups who feed and take care of the street cats. Needless to say there are horrendous fines or even jail sentences for mistreating or neglecting cats.

I think I mentioned this before, the coyotes take care of all stray and lost pets here.

Tough neighborhood.
Too bad they don't take care of illegal immigrants and niggers as well.
In Europe cats are the top predator. We have wofl and increasingly jackal but they're irrelevant except for livestock.
