No luck, it was cloudy yesterday and likely will be today. But better than in the coming days. I'll try. Nice photos, Alice!

This summer project is a raised garden and that will eventually include a pergola over that and overhead greenhouse style sprinklers to simulate rain.

I had a wooden raised bed and that rotted and was half eaten by termites so it started to collapse, I saved that dirt and the new garden will get a thin sprinkling of that dirt on it because this will be 23.5 square meters of raised American soil. Then next summer maybe, I'll be putting in a 1 square horse but rounded fountain that I can put coi fish in. The fun is in the doing.

Nice!
Host is in the process of digging out another patch for bulbs. That requires digging a trench and securing it with mesh against the voles. Fortunately the population crashed last winter so there aren't any mice at all, but they will return eventually. Will probably move countless m³ of soil. I don't like calling it 'dirt' because it's good soil. Not some trash. Maybe we'll find new stuff like the horseshoe host dug up last time.

srsly?
do you even have red beet?
it goes like this for 2 servings. your tupper also needs to eat some:

1l of kefir
500g beetroot (pickled or boiled and peeled)
2 cucumbers
1 bunch onion leaves
1 bunch dill
1 boiled egg
salt
some boiled potatoes as side dish

grate the beetroot and cucumber and chop the onion leaves and dill. put everything in large bowl and pour kefir over it. add salt and stir for a bit. leave in refrigerator for some hours or overnight. boil and peel egg and cut longitudinal. pour chilled soup in bowls for serving and garnish with a bit of dill and a slice of egg. put boiled potatoes in another bowl as side dish. really simple but takes some time.

Great, thanks!
Of course we have beet here. You can buy it canned or pickled in any supermarket.
