What Cat quoted:

"The way is sealed, [undecipherable] far too powerful to [indecipherable] Watcher [splintered] too great. Abandon your hopes and dreams if you dare to enter."

What I have:

"The way is sealed, [undecipherable] far too powerful to [indecipherable] too great. Abandon your hopes and dreams if you dare to enter."

The first line was my mistake, the door doesn't say "Watcher" I was momentarily making my own connection that isn't official and it was corrected minutes after I submitted, so I don't know how soon after that it was quoted, but it's out of date.

The vest of protection does not count as armor

There are constantly hundreds of people watching this, bots I guess. The campaign thread has 2.5M views now.

Somehow M3gan really doesn't want us to get the whistle and thieves tools. Let's see what happens to Cat.
And as I see it, we lack everything for poison making. No cooking vessel, no container. We could use that coal filled pan. We still need a container like the brandy bottles.

Cat, you didn't read the thread or it didn't update for you:

Quote
Just North of your position is a fire pit with a kettle on it and firewood under it, but it hasn't been used since before the storm so it's encased in snow and ice.

I think it's fine. We need a kettle for a water bath. We will put the pan with the component A on top and boil it. You don't want to heat highly explosive toxic components beyond necessary.

I don't see the problem with the snow and ice. Cat can chisel out the kettle and use Ashley Panther to warm it up. Just stick an ice-covered metal bowl under her belly to melt off the frost. There should be enough dry wood lying around in the mine and we have the kindling. Also some coal.

shell be delighted to get a frozen kettle under her belly. Yulya hopes she can explain why Alice mustnt get the whistle or open the chest. probably not in panther form.

We are leveling obviously, so I have some suggestions:

Cat, I encourage you to make up your own feats, but here are some to choose from. As part of leveling to level 4 and the ability score improvement, I'm allowing a feat. Additionally, if you choose to only take 1 point of improvement, you can choose two feats. I find feats kind of like a balance to spells for the martial classes since that's been significantly buffed with my scheme. Feats typically can be used once per turn.
-[INTERCEPTION] TO AN ALLY WITHIN 10 FEET, ANY HIT IS REDUCED 1D10+PRO
-[MELEE REACH] WHILE STRIKING, YOU CAN LEAN 5FT IN ANY DIRECTION, THEREBY REACHING ENEMIES THAT ARE 10FT AWAY BY SWINGING TOWARD THEM (15FT WITH A LONG REACH WEAPON), CAN BE STACKED WITH NICK, CLEAVE, SWEEP, ETC. DOES NOT TRIGGER OPPORTUNITY ATTACKS.
-[BOW STRENGTH] USE STR FOR BOW STRIKES
-[ADVANCING STRIKE] MAY ATTACK AT THE END OF A MOVE AS PART OF THE MOVE ONCE PER TURN
-[SUDDEN CHARGE] DASH AND ATTACK WITH ONLY ONLY ONE ACTION
-[CHARGER] WHEN MOVING MORE THEN 10FT BEFORE A STRIKE, ADD +5 TO THE DAMAGE OF THAT HIT
-[SWEEP] ATTACK UP TO THREE ENEMIES WITHIN YOUR REACH IN ONE SWEEPING BLOW.
-[FORCEFUL (TWO HANDED WEAPONS)] WEAPON GAINS DAMAGE OF NUMBER OF HIT DIE ON SECOND STRIKE IN A TURN AND 2X NUMBER OF HIT DIE ON SUBSEQUENT STRIKES IN A TURN. STACKABLE WITH NICK, CLEAVE, SWEEP, ETC.
-[CRITICAL ADVANTAGE] CRITICAL HITS OCCUR NOW FOR 19, AND 20 AND +10 OVER AC (This means if you manage to get 20 including any modifiers on a creature with 10AC, that's automatically a critical hit and so on.)

Alice, I replied to your email. In addition to feat(s) that make sense to you, you can obviously make your own and this is a good time to think about viscous form. Per the email, you may have a slight delay on all parts of that so waiting to level 5 is still an option.

Yulya, you may learn another cantrip rather than replace one per Cantrip Versatility.

Everyone is eligible to gain proficiency in something, Alice may gain proficiency on one additional weapon as a monk weapon permanently instead, this won't affect the temporary, switchable proficiency but will be in addition to that.

Remember that you need to come up with 1000 silver worth of "treasure or coin" each. You will not get a new adventurer plate (silver) until you visit a guild, but you will still be level 4. Keep in mind what you have done to deserve to be called a "hero" it's something worth bragging about so it has to be something big. It's not required or guaranteed to achieve level 4 but is required to advance past level 4.

That was unexpected! we will think about it its not so hard for Yulya shes only gotta choose a cantrip and there arent a lot of cleric cantrips left

The opportunity to return Ashley's soul to the body can be negotiated during the leveling process by Yulya. Since the body isn't dead, the revive spell may not be appropriate anyway. Being able to do this using a portal (orb but in this case shard) seems more appropriate.

>Yulya
>negotiate

What could possibly go wrong?

Email read, all good. I think I'll save up the feat for LV 5 and my transformation. We still gotta negotiate this, I'll make a list of ideas in the coming days and you can try to adapt that into something balanced.

For now, I must work on an appropriate welcome for our new orb. It will be hard to top the last level-up and I don't have any more stink bombs. Hmm...

It's not an orb, but M3gan will use it for a portal. It is an oracle, so it can be used with Godsight.

Orbs, portals, oracles - it's all the same to me.
And if the gods can siphon off money from us through it, that means things must end up at the other side. I can't let such an opportunity to cause maximum nonsense pass by.

Yes we all know you. At least you dont steal others money.
Regarding cantrips and feats I would like to take Word of Radiance and Metamagic Adept. Unless you all can think of something better?

Regarding proficiency I am thinking about Stealth of Perception - if I do not have this yet. I apologize for this level of disorganization we really need to make proper character sheets when we are level 4.

>don't steel other's money

This is something of an unspoken rule of adventurers, finders keepers.

I'm sure the Rockseekers will be happy to receive anything you find on their behalf and thay you don't take all their supplies or burn theor mine down, but in the end they will likely let you keep the 1000 silver especially since 750 (75 gold) was already promised and you are all leveling up.

As far as M3gan, she follows strictly the rule of finder's keepers but probably wouldn't care about coins other than what Ashley's wishes would be, which means in effect that she cares about the "owner" of the flesh she's wearing in some small way.

So you may give that money back to the rockseekers but even Ashley is Chaotic Neutral and would argue that the task warrants "additional pay".

So when you see the rockseekers again, mention that you found the labor payment stash and would respectfully ask if they want it back. I would contend the job completed would be their major concern but unlike reality where no good deed goes unpunished, returning their money would likely be appreciated by them.

But again, it's not a crime and it's somewhat expected of adventurers that they may loot everything. That's a risk any quest giver takes.

[Ashley] Yeah, M3gan made the right decision on my behalf, mad Yulya or not, I need money to do the 'good' I intend to do in this world, and a little shadiness is par for the course. Believe me, those dwarves are getting an earfull from me if I'm me when you see them again.
