Your sheet says "resistance" and you wouldn't have an opportunity not to breath if you didn't know what was coming.
At least I can stop breathing when a battle starts. It's not gonna last for 1h. The resistance is while breathing. If I don't breathe you'll need poison that gets absorbed over skin. But smoke, lack of oxygen or anything that works on inhalation like the spores won't be able to harm me. I'll probably forget much like Yulya constantly does about her Goblin staff. I won't be able to talk either which is a bother...

I'd rather give the badger ring to Cat, especially right now as she barely has HP. You can just forget about me when I go down and pick me up later. Cat needs to stay alive and up in battle or we have a serious problem that requires Yulya to go to the frontline to heal her. We should switch the rings around depending on situation.

Also why did Ashley throw away my explosives?? Leaving them with our stuff at the elevator would have been enough. I don't throw her crystal into some abyss when she's out either!

It was an act of trust between me and the mushroomies. Otherwise Joy was going to decide our fate by a 1d4 roll.

With obliterated bandits and untouched treasure it's definitely not a trap

I'm sure there's nothing lol

about the badger ring - whats the difference between Alice and Cat wearing it? you said its 3 free returns to consciousness for Alice. but why not for Cat? Alice is always stable and id rather give our tank 3x immortality or doesnt it work when youre dead?

btw we could retreat and let Alice retrieve the treasure with the ring but Yulya is full on with Cat to leave that until we cleared the mine. its not gonna run away.
and Yulya has a point why are they without summons again? the girls should have them in front of at all times so they never walk into an ambush directly. and we need some guys who can pick up things - monkes or beras.

Yeah we should all be chilling in Toblen's inn or Yulya's cabin while the summons do all the work. I hope we get there soon.
I still feel this will be another one of those scripted scenarios where we can't advance before we retrieve the chest and beat another SSS rank enemy.

Regarding the badger ring - keep in mind I lose my shape if my HP drops below zero so the ring would probably fall off before it works. I could eat it though.

Because at the third charge she auto fails a death throw, Alice can't die, Cat can.

Ashley is out of MP soon, it's her discretion to summon or not.

My babykins aren't for fodder. Mr. Bigglesworth doesn't look at me the same anymore.

Magic rings form to your body or finger or anything it can, even Ashley Panther wouldn't lose them. The only way to remove a magic ring without permission is if the wearer is unconscious, or if you cut the finger off, it would then technically be unconscious. A cursed ring can't be taken off without breaking the curse.

What? That wasn't mentioned beforehand. Gotta read the fine print!

Did Alice find anything among the skeletons? What was the salvageable bandit equipment?

The old stuff was scrap, I believe I inferred that. I didn't see anyone saying they looted the fresh corpses other than taking 7 brooches. I'll look again.

I added a note for what was salvagable.

Ok, thanks!
I still don't understand what the ring does.
In your description it only says
Quote
This is a Ring of the Badger, if HP drops below zero, you return to 1HP, it has three charges that reset at dawn, it has three charges.

Nothing about failing a death saving throw at the last charge.

That description is obviously not copied correctly. Instead of saying "it had three charges" twice, there is a missing line that after the third charge is expended, any additional down will cause instant death or something like that. So you get up 3 times per day but you are cheating death so for the rest of that day if you are downed again you are killed.

Just a minor detail that was missing. Completely irrelevant...
Whatever, I still say Cat should use the first 2 charges. Then she can give it to me and I cheat death twice and laugh at him. Let's just do this situation. wise. When I go down there to retrieve the treasure due to Ashley's milling monkeybears that could carry it, I will obviously wear that ring.
