Whoa that could have ended badly! I'm also glad Alice didn't get stuck in a broom closet. Cat will attack the western image. The real caster won't be going that far East away from the main battle.

im still not sure i understand how silvery barbs is handled. it only works on crit dmg? Yulya never got to use it so far. cant let it go to waste in a boss fight. unless she has to teleport.

Though it's hard to know how this will help, Alice has pinpointed his position based on his voice.
Oh, this helps a lot! I can now finally set everything on fire! This should prevent the guy from hiding again. He's either burning and smoking or - if he extinguishes the spell with water magic - dripping wet. I'll find him. Actually I don't even have to. I'll let the fire and smoke do the work for now.

A shame I probably can't convince the bugbears since nobody takes me seriously. Well, I tried to be nice! Going all out next round, gotta see where the fire spreads first!

I'm not sure how you think you materialized bedding and flammables, this is a stone room.

>I'm not sure
Well, I am...
Six cracked and splintered marble pillars line the walls of this hall. A nine-foot-tall statue of a dwarf seated on a throne, a mighty stone warhammer across his lap, occupies the north end. Large emeralds gleam in his eyes.

Dust and debris have been swept to one side of the floor. Half a dozen bedrolls and packs are neatly arranged around a rough-built firepit before the statue. A wooden table stands on the west side of the room between two pillars. (not shown)
And what exactly stopped me from climbing the statue so the bugbears can't reach me? If none of my actions have any impact on how the story progresses, at least don't waste my time by pretending I have 'different options' and just advance the scene. I spent hours working this out for nothing.

It's live! Though not much has changed except where Alice burned the treasure.

What did I miss?
Looks like Cat will take a short break. I think it's the first time she was downed?

looks like Cat will remain more dead than alive. Yulya burned through all her healing options. ok she still has the mp from the focus but that would limit her other options.

You're lucky cantrips don't run out. In 2e there were no cantrips.

And the cantrips are pretty powerful!
Well, spellcasters without MP would be dead weight without that. Imagine playing a game where you can't do anything but be a liability for your teammates for most of the battle. Megumin-tier.

So - no toxic smoke from the fire? Is it even still burning?
I'm also still missing info about the columns and whether I could shatter them and collapse the entire room.

I'll roll a dice:

Toxic smoke: 1d20=6 no
Collapse ceiling 1d20=20 yes luck 1d20=10 not good

I'll give you a chance to change your responses, if you do, because it's 20, you will have to beat a DC 10 on a 1d20 roll without modifier that the whole room will Collapse also burying you and the head you came for. Beat that and a section will fall so you'll have to be careful because the head won't be recoverable without expertise and strength not even Cat has. Huge chunks of rock would need to be pulverized, excavated, carted off and it will take many days you don't have.

If you do
