I get a feeling that Summer is in trouble, welp, we won't be taking anything to heart since Alice's echo of Summer isn't Summer anyway, but simply enough, we'll just leave and never return if her echo is molested in any way.

Come on, why would I do that? We want you to join again someday, not drive you off.

I said I do not want to play Summer for exactly this reason. I promise nothing will happen to her, but unless she plays herself, she cannot really interact with us. I will keep her role to a minimum. But as Alice said, she can always pop in and play her role when we meet up at dinner. But because I hate loose ends as much as Alice, she is required until it is revealed why we cannot yet go for the dragon. This will probably be clear by meeting Andras.

Apart from that, I have to keep the game as much fun as possible. Hence Cat will be drugged. How she reacts to the catnip however, is up to her. Alice absorbing the goblin stink bomb set a pretty high bar.

Alice raised a valid topic. Will Cat be able to do smith's work in the field without access to a furnace and how does this work in general?

For the sake of continuity, though you aren't obviously required to follow this as the new DM, Summer is a low level oracle/illusionist who relies heavily on scrolls which she is well versed in using. Scrolls just cost money, she doesn't need mana. She is not a dragon in human form because Ashley's True sight saw her clearly as human. However, that doesn't mean she can't be a human in dragon form either by scroll, item, racial ability or otherwise.

Also, there are states of polymorph that permanently change your form which would then show as that form with truesight.

Also it is not verified fact that she is either hunan nor a child, only that she appears as such. Lsstly, her ring is of particular interest to Daren as you know. Use this as you see fit or ignore it.

Noted.
I'm still struggling a bit with the story, but I will sort that out. Unfortunately, Summer will not get her dragon anytime soon. Anything past the meeting in Stonehill Inn is up to her. It would have been nice if she accompanied the girls to Daran, but she'd need to play herself for that. I won't for obvious reasons.

For now, to my surprise you've made a substantial amount of money with your loot that exceeds your expenses by far, even with Cat's fancy clothes and weapon requests. The story will continue with a trip to Harbin, a return to Linene to pick up Cat's dress and then off to Daran's party and meeting with Mr. Andras. You should probably stop by at Toblen's to talk to Summer who is waiting for you. But I recommend not showing up late for your party. You can talk to Summer during dinner. Elmina will also be at Toblen's then.
