Author Topic: Feedback, Complaints, Concerns, Likes, Dislikes for Campaign #1 [Joy the DM]  (Read 55427 times)

I am happy with war crimes and heads on pikes, I am a veteran Rimworld master warmonger. But there are consequences.

SheShe is forbidden to reveal my traps and yes she gave away something I was planning so at this point it may or may not happen.

You know I always have to complain, it's a German thing.
Still you're doing an awesome job - and for that we thank you!

Well now I feel bad about the TPK thing. But don't get me wrong, it's more likely than not it'll still happen.

Which do you prefer?

1. The Healer's Kit has 10 uses, still stabilizes and treats wounds, but heals for 1d4
2. The Healer's Kit is used just for stabilizing and treating wounds and has unlimited uses

I like 2 better. We have enough healing capacity. Being able to stabilize infinitely is more important.

This.

D&D roadmap:

Obviously we need to finish the Gundren Rickseeker Arc, then face off with the Dragon as a final boss, that will conclude the first campaign. At this point it's a small campaign, sort of like a one-shot. The expected level is 5-6, you will be both a hero and a dragonslayer if all goes well. I believe you will all be level 5 when you face the dragon, which is inevitable I suppose.

Other possible outcomes: Alice has access to her ship, Yulya and Cat both should get a chance to get what they want, can both of you please let me know what a mid-game achievement might be for you? I'd like to see what kind of closure we can have for the finale and take a break after that for a while. There will be some loose ends, teasers that you would know by now. I consider this first campaign like season one of an Anime, either we decide to make a season 2 or start a new series etc.

Future campaigns will have to be considered carefully. So I'm just thinking ahead. I'd need time to outline and plan another arc once we get through this one.

wait, level 5 when we face the dragon? that means we have to level up twice!
i assume we will spend the rest of the year in that dungeon then return to neverwinter to level up. the dragon will take most of 2026. at this time if im not dead in a trench by then we can think further.

Yulya and Cat both should get a chance to get what they want, can both of you please let me know what a mid-game achievement might be for you?
interesting question. obviously Yulya wants to continue adventuring with her friends and help Alice find her ship. but he has no special goals herself. its more fun not knowing what will happen.

First of all I wanna evolve to viscous form by at least getting hold of some debris from my ship. Ultimately I want to reach LV10, visit my ship when it has started to repair and get back my Living Metal form and the ability to make Bartolomeo the brick and Artificial Trees. I don't know how to incorporate them yet as they operate at different time-scales than the game and will be useless in combat taking hours to days to grow into anything useful. As Kashtan said, Lv10 will be incredibly far in the future. Until then I will collect as many ears and eat as many enemies as possible.
I only have one request - to get out of that goddamn cold after the dragon and go adventuring somewhere warm and green while regularly returning to Neverwinter.

Though it might be tempting, I'm also firmly against starting a new run. We worked so hard for this and i want to see what levels we can reach. I will never get my full form back if we quit and start from zero.

You know Cat isn't a vengeful spirit like Alice. If she comes across the noble responsible for wiping out her tribe that's fine but it won't bring back the dead. Guess wewanna see where things go as well and not start a new campaign. We can do this when everyone reaches level 20 (as if). I also want to see what Alice is like in her final form.
