Then eat half of that.
I made host live on 600-800 kcal for 10 days. We stopped the experiment as his weight dropped dangerously. He's already thin. Has the same weight of 70 +/- 2 kg for 25 years now.

Also calories isn't everything. Eat fibrous hard to digest stuff like raw vegetables or mushrooms. The body will have to work hard to extract energy from that and you'll feel full longer.

Meh, we tried that 80 years ago and it didn't go so well. Mostly because you pesky Americans interfered. Also I feel woflo will sooner or later get in trouble for your genocidal ideas because of some EU hate speech laws. Not that it's my problem but we wanna keep this place he have us up and running. I made /tulpa/ for this purpose.

On other news, Trump will allow 600K chink students at US universities and plans to 'get along' with China the same way as with Russia. Trust the plan!

Alice spreads her ball bearings around Cat's caltrops and then follows her, readying her bow with a poisoned arrow

After facing a troll with a ballista, I'd not rule anything when it comes to Joy arming her monsters.

Guess we'll have to wait for Kashtan to reccover, kids these days have no stamina.
I think a Cat smoke cover would be useful, we can pop out, shoot and retreat.

Sounds like something else I remember
It didn't end so well in Cuba, Bay of Pigs.

The problem is you'd make a martyr out of the guy if you outright kill him. You gotta come to the point where he's lynched by his own people. But Venezuela has a huge military-industrial complex, basically the only thing that's still working. As in many socialist countries. All the people working there have no interest in ending the dictatorship. Neither have Russia and China. So I'm not overly hopeful we'll see Freedom in Venezuela soon. A shame, it was such a beautiful country before the commies took over.

>Niggers
You are telling me this? That feels wrong. I'm the one who should tell you that niggers are the problem!

Anyway, check this out if you haven't yet:
https://nypost.com/2025/08/24/world-news/american-good-samaritan-stabbed-by-syrian-immigrant-in-germany-after-stepping-in-to-stop-harassment
US Tourist comes to Dresden and witnesses Syrian sandniggers molesting women on the train. He decides to intervene - and is beaten to a pulp and stabbed in the face. He was lucky to survive. The sandniggers escape, one is caught and released a few hours later because Germany.

Protip:
Don't come here. And if you must, stay the hell away from any oriental looking people! They're worse than niggers. More organized and aggressive. They'll kill you and Police will do nothing, if not jail you for racism if you defend yourself.

Hmm, weird. Wikipedia says birds have been observed to eat and disperse the seeds. The capsules are big, it would take an animal as big an wooly as a sheep to disperse them. They don't have hooks like burrs. Host has always wondered how the plants pop up at patches of open soil, mostly construction sites - with no other plants around.

>friendzoned by Bestie
I can't wait for this to happen. Right now the neighborhood loli has a serious crush on host and monopolizes him. According to her own words, he's both her dad and boyfriend. And pet. I dunno which is weirder. No, the weirdest one is her mom which enables and fosters this. I have no idea what that woman is thinking. At least she's never hit on host, treats him more like a child though she's not much older. I'm surrounded by lunatics.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa that map is driving me crazy! We basically spent the whole weekend brooding over this but it just sucks. The upper door in in the middle between 2 squares. Who made this? It will be an absolute mess calculating movement. And I can't think of a way to keep the bugbears from going where they want. This won't seriously slow them down, they can just walk through our caltrops-ball bearings at half speed. We could fall back north but it's a terrible strategy. I really don't wanna get in close combat with those guys but our ranged attacks suck. Cat gave away her heavy crossbow so all we have is 2 arrow shots and on toll the dead per round. And Ashley can now summon a 2nd  and 3rd wasp and sting them with all of them. It doesn't matter, the ruckus will alert the whole mine anyway..,

Caltrops grey, ball bearings blue, our fallback position red

>Noo, you can't clear a dungeon by setting it on fire
I really can't have any fun. The only dumb thing is to engage in close combat one-by-one with monsters that both outnumber us by magnitudes and are vastly stronger than us.
I was planning to firebomb the elevator. Let them burn, suffocate or starve down there.

Who's going to pay for damages? Not me![/color]
They can send a bill to the cloaked wofls or whatever criminal organization is behind this. Not our fault if they set the mine on fire. Also not our fault the Rockseekers obviously haven't been in their mine for months. A few squatters my ass. It's an entire army. Hand out quests with imprecise information, receive imprecise results! I'm a weapon of mass destruction, I don't care for details as long as anything that could potentially cause trouble is dead..

Anyway, I'm open to better suggestions then. Maybe you wanna fight those guys bare-handed yourself? They'll even smash Nixie in one turn. At least get your wasp down here and sting the first one to confuse him as soon as he opens the door. We could retreat N but that probably won't give us clear shots. And we must prevent them from entering the exit tunnel just North of the door.

Reminder - next time I'm gonna bring a cartload of caltrops and ball bearings and spread them out in the entire dungeon.

*goblin-like grunts stop*

Alice's attempt to look through the keyhole was successful and inside the northern door she can see beds, chests at least 4 bugbears and at least one winter wolf; at least one bugbear is small at least one is very large and looks intimidating.
Alice describes the strange creatures she has never seen before as 'lion-goblins' and notes with dismay that there's another winter wofl.

The wolf's gaze is fixated on the door and the bugbears have noticed something is up. One of them is approaching the door!
Alice backs off and whispers
Oh shit one of the niggers is coming! We were too loud!

Damn you for getting my hopes up, Kashtan. With Sleep we actually would have had a chance. No idea how we deal with 4 of those guys. I dunno anything about their stats beccause I don't look them up on purpose. I', an alien. I've never seen or heard about a bugbear.

So I guess there's not enough time for bnarricading. We gotta hope they don't exit from the other door too. I don't like wasting firebombs but I'll use the ball bearings after the caltrops. I'll make a map in the evening. Am I correct that it's  one square (5x5 ft) caltrops and 4 squares (10x10 ft) ball bearings? It sucks that the door is exactly in the middle between 2 squares. This will be a mess.

Ah crap Datura
Three at once! No idea how those big seeds got here. I don't see it in my neighborhood.
The seeds are light and are easily blown away with the wind or washed sonewhere by rain. They pop up here at construction soil whhere they are pioneers on loose soil. But we don't have any. I actually like them, but you gotta make sure they don't get out of hand.

>woman hit on you while you're at the park with Bestie
Bestie reaction?
I imagine the neighborhood loli would be mad if women did that because she thinks host belongs to her alone. Too bad, he's already mine.

The fuck was Danielle doing in there? Is she the stereotypical dumb blonde who only made coffee or what? How can you miss all thoye guys?

Can we at least get an overview how they are spaced out?
I also wanna know if we can blockade the door. I'd hate to waste a firebomb now already but 4 bugbears are quite a target. Not that I know what a bugbear is.
Another option is to retreat and draw them out one by one. We can't fight them all in there.

I think Cat should spread the caltrops in front of the door. I will ready my net to catch the first one. We gotta know how they are positioned and how far from the door to see if firebombing makes sense.

Meanwhile Germany can't even deport criminals because European court says it's Verboten. An we still must take tens of thousands of Afghans because they allegedly worked for German forces stationed there and are now 'at risk'. Apparently half of the Afghan population worked for us. Germans will adhere to laws and regulations even if it kills them. Ordnung muss sein.

Alice please go see if the door is locked or if you can peek inside!
If the North is clear, Alice uses stealth to approach the door and examine it to see of she can take a look inside through a crevice or keyhole. and to see if it is locked or whether it can be opened.
Cat, use oil from the lamp to lubricate the hinges! We don't want it to creak!

Well good luck getting rid of them!
At least here they are one of the most persistent weeds. The tubers go deep and are impossible to fully remove. Do potatoes even grow in your climate? I'd think it's too warm/dry.

Mice ate most of our tomato plants. Not just gnawed them off at ground level but then dug out the rootstock and ate it too to make sure they can't recover. Host has shielded the remaining 5 with mesh net. Not sure that helps. What are the cats doing? They haven't caught a mouse all year. Only insects and spiders.
