Oh, I didn't realize you wanted hardcore mode. I'll try harder to defeat you then.

>not in front of the fucking gate

You should really be more specific in your moves then. Unless you did and I missed it.

>btw did you make files of the girls abilities at lv3 Joy

I will post them on the other site because I can't upload files here. They're kind of my files for me so much of it will look confusing by now.

My stupid 30" Rubbermaid broom broke and it turns out you can't get that dumb broom again. It was crappy but it did work.

Aint no way I'm getting a wimpy 24" broom, fuck that degenerate+ shit for soy boys. So I paid extra and got me one of them American made brooms made for strong American men to sweep up efficiently so they can get back to knocking up their barefoot women, the roast can wait baby, I just finished sweepin'.

A masterpiece of broom technology and design. Made of American hardwood and steel. Damn I wish I was 10 people so I could buy a dozen of these.

It's a heavy bitch, not the kinda girl you marry but she can take a lot of abuse.

She strategically left no discernable footprints according to her post.

>scripted event

She looked for cracks thoroughly and found none.

>only one left

I'll give this one to you but at this point one one who got help may be back in any moment

>can they smell the girls in a snowstorm?

There was once a bard who could smell girls a mile away, he told that to Bear with Ulla and Hali . Ulla's character in your timeline (not Summer) could inherently read minds and read what he did when he found the girls.

When they incapacitated him, Bear knew that he'd track them down, so they drained his blood  and burned him in a pyre and crushed his bones so no one could ever tell who was burned.

Goblins have a surprisingly good sense of smell, the males have especially prominent noses, wolves and other canids as well.

With the volume of air passing along with buffeting by the palisades, and since Alice doesn't have the rotting flesh of goblins on her, I would say most other beings would have a very high DC to smell you under these conditions.

>onions?

Yes 5ft

Also keep in mind the snow in conjunction with the storm is equivalent to difficult terrain.

[You are all 50ft to the NorthEast (off this map), Alice is at the gate though she's hard to see. The voices came from roughly the other side of the fence but only Alice heard them. There is a 25mph wind coming from the Northeast with gusts of 30mph, it's currently snowing with a visibility of 50ft. All land in the immediate area is flat, you are among a thicket of trees just off the main path which winds around the mountainside.]

Yulya casts Guidance on Alice and Alice approaches the gate. Ashley hides behind a tree just in case.

The wall is solid without cracks, so Alice attempts to find a seam in the gate to look through while being stealthy.

[Hidden rolls]

Alice finds no traps nor any cracks in the wall or gate large enough to see through, she notes the quality of the gate and style as being well done and with care though she can't determine the style or who might have made it, only that this was not hastily erected. The wood is sturdy and straight, relatively new but likely older than a season as far as she can tell given the state of petina on the reinforced pine boards.

Over the wind, which is not by any means quiet, she hears part of a conversation in common. "Why do we have to watch the entrance? Ain't no one coming in this weather, and I'm freezing to death!" The voice is course but she's just not knowledgeable enough about orcs, humans, elves, harnless elderly goblins, spiders, or anyone else to know what kind of being is making the statement.

[Hidden rolls]

"Shh! I I think I heard something, it sounded like an ermine bounding through the snow." It was a much softer voice, but again Alice was poor at discerning the source.

"Bah! It's probably just a fox," the gruffer voice said in a hushed tone.

"Shhh! I'll go get the others."

"You're not leaving me out here to freeze!"

"Watch the gate! Get to a higher vantage and see if you can tell what's out there. I'll be right back." the softer voice was adamant.

"Don't involve the Black Spider, we don't need another lecture! When we find out its nothing, this is on you!" he grumbles and Alice hears foot steps crunching in the snow behind the wall. She can't tell much else.

[Sunday, Spring 23, 06:30, -9C, Snowing]

Good morning Mr. Stonehill!
This is quite bad weather! Can we even reach the mine in these conditions? Or should we wait for better conditions?

He shrugs, "I wouldn't, but I'm not leaving the inn till Summer, I hate the cold."

Gotta hand it to you, I just can't compete with you when it comes to insulting other's feelings!

...

Not again girls! We had enough of that yesterday we have work to do now!

"I didn't even do anything, MOM. Anyway I stuck up for you Alice, cut me some slack. Or should I order the goat's sausage and feed it to you like a mother bird to her baby?"

Well he didn't mischaracterize you in the first place! I told you not to take it personally.

"I'm a good judge of character and I'm saying he's up to no good, I bet this Andras guy is just as awful. Let's get out of here, I'm ready to go hunt spiders."

First to Lionshield coster to pick a cloak for Cat and then to Sir Hobnail to pick up the tools and supplies we need from our cart!

Alright let's go Nya!

The town looks like winter wonderland as you trudge on to Lionshield coster. The selections of cloaks are slim but there is a brown one made of soft goat leather that fits Cat.

Leather Cloak 12sp, 3lbs

Current Funds:
  5 cp
223 sp
 67 gp
 10 pp

Next to Barthen's Provisions, you check in with Hobby and then go to the barn where Sandra and Sophia look very bored, but safe from the cold. They perk up as you approach and especially when Ashley sneaks them the treats before Cat can lecture her. "You're auntie Ashley wouldn't forget about you girls, we'll be gone for a couple days, so stay safe and warm at least."

You transfer the supplies and are off to the drudge of walking through the snow during a snow storm, in near zero visibiliy but it's hard to miss the side of a mountain so you're not worried about getting lost.

[1d4=1,1] The gods frown upon you as you eke your way down the path, nearly getting lost several times.

[Sunday, Spring 23, 16:30, -6C, Snowing]

Given the difficulty of the trek it takes 10 hours to reach the cave and when you approach you see what looks like a wooden palisade blocking the entrance. With the howling wind and snow the low visibility brings you within 50ft of the cave before you realize it's blocked by a large gate.

Aren't they basically demons from the negative plane?

"The heck! They're not demons, not all creatures from the negative plane are demons... aren't they?" She shakes her head with a frustrated look, "Did I leave my book in Neverwinter! I swear I brought it. No! it's in Hobby's Barn! Well a lot of good it does for me there. I thought we were going to just trot off to the mine right away... well now we are so blah. So anyway, yeah, I bet they're just like anything, they're not fire brand, they're electrical infused so cold would still affect them."

Why not order a round of pine nut marzipan for all of us? I know what marzipan is but I didn't know you could make it from pine seeds.

"Oh waitress? Six orders of the marzipan please." Ashely looks at Alice with an especially devious look, "the girls need a treat too. And seriously, if I had known, I'd have tried that shepherd's pie, it better have gold filling."

Ashley stands and marches up to the bar, "Why's your shepherd's pie so expensive?"

Toblen looks at her with a strange look, "It's not especially easy to make and it has a lot of different meats in it. It takes some effort to get them to work well together but it's worth it."

"Really? 6 gold!?"

He turns to the menu on his board, "Oh... that should say 6sp. Aww Spiced potatoes and eggs is wrong too." He begins to fix it.

"What about the pickled goat sausage?"

He turns to her with a maniacal look, "That's my specialty, I guarantee it's the best thing you've ever eaten or your money back."

"It sounds awful, I wouldn't even give it to Alice. Not even for free." She humphs and returns to the table in time to find her marzipan.

The delicate little treat is scrumptious!

"Now this I can enjoy." She says while chewing. "The tart was good too, I'm ready to go, what do we need?"

13
Yeah, it was never going to work out.

[State the items you wish to buy and I will get all the location scenes in one post and start the ice march of death.]

I'm good I think. I wonder if my summons will be okay with the cold? Maybe I can summon a Snow Leopard? Where's my book? Ashley rifles through her pack.

The pie and milk arrive with gentle waft of cinnamon and fresh baked bread. Four large apples are included with each order and before you can wonder why the waitress says, "Your breakfast this morning is courtesy of master Edermath with 'sincere apologies to Alice for mischaracterizations that may have mistakingly occurred.' So enjoy!"

Ashley mutters, "he's still a jerk."

Ashley takes a sip of the milk, "Free food always tastes better. You can really taste the goat."

Cat's mutten and cider arrive soon after, again gratis.

"I'm feeling like ordering the most expensive thing on the menu, wanna share Alice? It's because of you anyway. The jerk didn't apologize to me, I'll catch him outside later."

[Apples count as 1/2 ration and weigh 1/2 lb. Alice's good night's rest has improved her mood so she is no longer Apathetic.]

I wouldn't think it will take more than three days, it's less than a day away, there's always the option to head back to town and return when restocked.
