Carving wood looks really cool to me, but I'm not very good with my hands--as much as I'd like to be. I guess practice makes perfect, huh?

Cowboy Bebop always looked interesting, and pretty good to me; but I never have had the want to sit down and actually watch it.

Anyway, I think it's pretty safe to say all of my favorite animes are ones that everyone here has surely seen.
Yes dreamy, Brotherhood was fantastic.

The fact that you post the same thing both here and on .info makes it hard for me to decide what to do.

The red light is optional, but the ping pong balls are not. That's kind of the whole thing.
Dreamy, you didn't think you were really trying it when you lied there with the lights out, did you? Because you do that every night.

The whole idea is that the ping pong balls diffuse the incoming light so that all you see is more of the same. I actually tried it myself, recently, and got some sort of results.

Some quality words there, Sands.
I think it's fair to say I've thought the same thing for a while; just hadn't worded it quite that way. Although I did notice that my guide says something similar to what you did at some point--that not I, or anyone else knows whether your tulpa is sentient or not, but they should be treated as such. Because there is a difference between treating, and being.
Honestly, if all tuppers were truly sentient from the beginning, I don't think the phrase would have been "treat them as if they're sentient", because you know, if they are all sentient, then it goes without saying that they should be treated as though they were. Duh.
Just goes to show again, how people misinterpreted the entire thing.

Anyway, I think these words should be spread around more. It's definitely something people should think about, as it could certainly avoid many problems, for many people. That, and I don't really see any down-side to this point of view.

MP3 is a much more versatile format and used by much more devices than .flac. Besides, .flac files are larger, too.

But then again, it's hard to argue against sound fidelity.
Point is, .flac will never get to sit with all the cool kids and get all the women like .mp3.

Well sure, it's more versatile, but my mp3 player plays .flac, so what do I care?
Also of course it takes up more space--but much less than uncompressed lossless files.
And I have 20GB of storage on my mp3 player, so I don't have to worry too much about that.

I use .flac sometimes. Why not?
It's practical, if you enjoy, and can hear the sound quality.

General Discussion / Re: Tulpae Awareness

Why would you use tulpae in the title, and then use tulpas in the message?
Also, either way, it would be "tulpa awareness". Not plural.

Anyway, I do not wish the phenomenon to become more widespread for many reasons. The main being that enough people abuse tulpas (even if they don't have one) enough as it is. If it became a well-known thing, think of the tragedy.

Is it pronounced flahn, or flan?
This is important.
