We 3D&D now!
You work that out, I'll stay quiet on trigonometry before I say anything stupid.

Let's take a step back and analyze the situation. I agree with Yulya that splitting up and going after them is deadly. Our strength is unity.
.)Nixie and Olga attack the wolves.
.)If they down them, Cat and me will go after the female bandit and flank her.
.)Yulya casts Toll the Dead Holocaust on the beastmaster if she can fly somewhere to see him.
Ideally we down everyone but the 2 male bandits.

If a wolf survives, Cat has to deal with him. Then she should go into the tree to avoid attacks
I will move out and shoot another poisoned arrow at the beastmaster before retreating into the tree.

We've been very disciplined gym visitors this spring, almost going every 2nd day but that came to an end over the summer. Either we're away or it's too hot. It's not extreme but around 30°C exercising isn't fun. I drastically reduced weight today so we could do anything at all. The gym doesn't have any AC so it's generally hotter inside than outdoor in summer. Temperatures will drop sharply next week so I guess we can lift more often.

I admit I've never heard about head cheese either. All I know is you can make animal glue this way.
Oh wait, Wikipedia says it's called Presswurst (pressed sausage) or Presskopf (pressed head) in German. I know that! Never ate it though. Host did try it as a kid and wasn't very fond of it. He generally doesn't like cold meat dishes. His father likes that head cheese stuff though.

Alice moves SW into the thicket of the tree as far as she needs to be able to see the beastmaster but as close to the troll as possible and as deep as required to gain full cover. Ideally 5ft S of the troll. She carefully pulls a poisoned arrow from her quiver and shoots it at the beastmaster.

Interesting question - can I take the ballista from the troll? I guess it's too heavy.
Also how far SW do I have to move so I can shoot the beastmaster while having full cover?

[Alice moves with the speed of a mongoose and her attack was true, she strikes through his especially tough, rock-like skin with her spear then as she assaults him with her fists she senses he can absorb some of the blow [Resistance to Bludgeoning] for a total of 23 damage!

Alice looks at her own hands in astonishment.
Owo, what's this? Looks like some of my powers are slowly coming back!

Nixie approaches the beast and claws at its tough hide. Succeeding in getting a foothold, she grapples him and sinks her teeth in for a total of 12 damage.
Nice, good kitteh! Hold him down! We got him!
Alice exclaims in excitement

Grappled but not downed, the troll attempts another standing sweep
Alice is hit but reacts in time to deflect the blow, in addition she resists the blunt strike reducing the hit to 1HP.
Feeling near invincible, the feisty mongoose gets a bit overconfident...
The hell was that supposed to be? Even a goblin child strikes harder than that!

...and is promptly shot
The man on the wall spots Alice and takes aim, [HIT vs 15AC 1d20+2=(21,20)][DMG 1d10=8] The bolt flies through the air and sinks into Alice's back.
Wincing in pain Alice turns around spotting the crossbowman. She notes him down as the new goblin #8 and hopes to get her hands on him for that.

Nixie is unable to dodge the bite and takes 6 damage, in addition, a strange aura surrounds the troll upon biting her, he heals 10HP from the attack.
Alice is alarmed, the confidence vanishes
Don't let him bite you! He's got some kind of regeneration! Take him down now!

Cat signals her to switch sides, racing around the troll to absorb damage from the bandit's crossbow.
You go in front Nya! Keep hitting him Nya!
Alice whirls around moving N and attacks the troll from the front with her spear 2-handed followed by an unarmed strike. She expends her last Ki point to deal additional necrotic damage with Hand of Harm.

That was some decent damage output!
But I miscalculated as usual, only Hand of Healing can be used together with Flurry of Blows for 1Ki point. So I spent 2 on the first attack. Damn... I also forgot about the consequences of running out of Ki points but that doesn't matter now. We gotta take the troll down so I will use my last one. If he feeds on damage he deals to us that could go very wrong very fast.

About flanking, can't we set up the 60° triangle I talked about? If one side of that triangle faces the crossbowman he should not have a line of sight on anyone of us.

Alice reacts quickly and evades the troll's deadly strike. She moves behind him and attacks the huge creature with her spear 2-handed, then spends 1 Ki point on Flurry of Blows, making 2 unarmed strikes. A greyish metallic liquid forms on her palm as she uses Hand of Harm to deal additional necrotic damage.

Flanking works for those who are in opposite positions, you must be roughly on the opposite side of at least one other ally. A third who is 90 degree off would not get flank but I am not too picky about that if you had unused movement because there's no penalty to move to that position as long as you don't disengage. If you say you flanked, I would take it to mean you moved to a flanking position and nove you.
I didn't know that.
I assumed as soon as 2 people attacked someone from roughly opposite positions anyone else joining the fun also had advantage. So if 3 people attack a creature in a 60° angle forming an equilateral triangle, none of them gets advantage?

[HIT vs (AC13,AC16) 1d20+7=(10,15)]
Yulya cast Shield of Faith on me, my AC is 15 now!

Hey, you're right!
Good thinking!

I hope Joy agrees to our changes but the move wasn't made yet. So I will revise my position to the one you suggested. That should keep the troll within 20ft of me. I hope he doesn't step on me. And that Ashley's alright. The crossbowman shouldn't be able to see and shoot her behind the trees. If she's heard, thats' fine! We want the troll to go there. Even better if he thinks he's smart and tries to cut off Yulya and Ashley's escape route to the west.
Go West, Mr. Troll, Go West!

Does he have a name? He's the bandits' friend! He needs a name!

Yeah indeed! She should have gone to Yulya! If she drags the troll further east I'm mad. And what's with the wasps? Is the troll a wasp magnet or what?  Summon them as far NW as possible along the edge of the map! We gotta find the beastmaster!

Alice keeps motionless and tries to get a look at the troll to determine what equipment he's carrying. She also keeps a lookout for the ominous beastmaster. She peeks through the branches and sees the monster for what it is, it carries the ballista in it's hands and it's fists at the end of it's long arms are wrapped in iron spiked bands making his hands both giant sized clubs and considered light weapons to him.
She notes that the Ballista has three bolts on top but has no idea how they work or if the troll can reload it, but one is ready to fire.
Alice looks at the huge creature she's never seen before thinking
The hell is this thing? he's huge! Is that what orcs look like in this world? I hope not! It has quite ugly ears, very small. But somehow ususual. Definitely worth collecting...

She pays little attention to the bandits words but notes they obviously consider themselves above thieves and burglars. Very pecular. She comes up for a plan after the troll's defeat and has to smile at her ideas.

Alice carefully moves 5ft East and 15ft NE under the tree and hides again

Summer has come
It's unbelievably hot but the 30-35°C are still harmless against 40-45°C in Spain!
Sitting outside and gazing at the stars with host, I saw 2 small and one big shooting stars this evening! A few fireflies too but less than last year. Maybe ecause it's so dry.
