Lost, you might wanna go with the Theta pace if you want to be more energised.
Theta was the main plan to begin with. I just wanted to see if the other would result in improved sleep.

Quote
I've been using it every night for a couple of weeks now, and as a result, my dreams have become more vivid and I've been more fresh despite sleeping less than I should.
This is something I'd like to avoid, actually.

I had a whole bunch of crazy stuff happen this very night, with me and the political companion shooting players in a snowy Podagorsk, me trying to get in bed with the foreign advisor from Civilization 5 by falling asleep while playing the game (yeah), me trying to survive the invasion of Normandy in the second world war on the Americans' side, and a series of related dreams where Rapunzel from Tangled was endowed with some imaginative force from a tree by enchanting with her hair inside it, putting her in an interpretation of reality subject to her aesthetic will, which made her super happy and things until she after a while forgot the fact that her reality was only so real, until some cleric dude told her that new situations in life offer new opportunities and that she could still do people good, making her happy again as she found new purpose in her life. And a whole bunch of other crazy things. This is totally my thread; it is my full right to go off-topic about dreams induced by Eye-Bo. Did I mention it's free?
That sounds like fun. Vivid dreams are a blast.

I love how you hype the hell out of it in your signature. I lost it at "eyeball fat." "Combine with Raspberry ketones for optimum effect."

Seriously, more on topic though. I plan on downloading these soon and then putting them to use. I'll have some privacy coming up and will be able to grab a pair of headphones for full effect. I'll have to do a bit more reading though before picking a particular frequency.

Also, I like that you put that bit for Delta you wrote about dimming the light and lowering the volume. Goes well with the concept of circadian rhythm. Might help to do this just as it starts to get dark outside as well, as it might help instill a proper circadian alignment, especially if they aren't often outside during the day during it's brightest hours, or spending their nights in very bright rooms.

I plan on trying with either Delta or Theta at first. As for descending, ascending or constant variations, I'm not sure yet. Delta will likely be a test to see if it can help aid in sleep (which is what I was searching for when I originally found BWE tones in the first place), which I have been suffering from for many, many years now.

I tend to draw oversized noses on guys.

I wonder why.
I think he just likes noses. Note the following.

For instance, imagine the tupper doing exactly what you are doing; you make a facial expression, the tupper makes that expression alongside you, you pick your nose, it picks its nose, and so on.

I know the people with interesting noses tend to like them being interesting in other media they're fond of, be it art, games, etc...

So I'm playing Morrowind again.  Heavily modded for some caster fun. Mostly just a Magicka regen. I plan on running around and just burning things. It'll be fun.

Lupin III was a good one. Haven't seen anything with Lupin since the Detective Conan movie.

Mirai Nikki was good too, though I generally try to refrain from titles with so much, umm... Blood.

Oh, I thought you weren't gonna use it (for now) because you lack head-sitting audio equipment, so I'd just want to assure you that you can use it without said equipment and still produce better visual results.
Interesting. I'll try that, then.

Just tell it like it is: eye workout.
That won't fly. Trust me.

I guess you could say it's some kind of meditation technique you're trying if someone walks in on you...
That would so not work. xD  Hmm... Could try it at night and say it's some noise cancellation something or other.

If nothing interesting is happening, perhaps it is time to spice up the daily routine. I should let you know that it's not strictly necessary to use headphones. If you have speakers, great. Even if you don't have any device that can output audio, it still has an effect; it just won't be as great as it would be with headphones.

Shameless advertising.

I believe I actually posted in your thread already? I was planning on using it already, but part of the problem was 1, the headphones and 2, the family. I've used audio ones before, and if someone comes in to random noises, it's going to be something to explain indeed. Perhaps I'll be able to get away with it on Monday or Tuesday morning.

I pretty much stopped listening to everything country after 9/11. All of the music was just so sappy and patriotic and playing the same songs over and over again that I just couldn't take it anymore.

In the 90's, I was into pop. From the '00 to about '02, I was into country. Then I got into rock. Around '06, I got into more instrumentals. Just a couple years before (around '05, I suppose), I picked up the keyboard a bit. It soon ended up adding foreign music. Mostly from Asia. Mother gifted me with this CD. I also have a "Tai Chi" track, a Celtic Woman disc, some stuff from the Philippines, and obviously, thanks to anime, lots and lots of Japanese music. However, as mentioned before, I usually take English translations from fandubbers. The translations are usually enough for me to stick around, seeing as each artist translates them somewhat differently. Such as this compared to this. (A right shame the latter isn't the full song, though.)

Believe Alton Brown has an episode for sushi. Could consider watching that for some tips.

I like classical, it makes me happy. Grieg(best), Mozart, and bach, anything goes. Slam me some of those old composers and maybe some new and im happy. Intel does not listen much to them, to my great dissapointment. But, I can compromise with him on some things, like what we are listening to now, Minus The Bear: Burying Luck, from the album Acoustics. It soothes me and suits my tastes. Indeed.

I'm rather fond of instrumentals of popular songs. Something like this or this are played quite often on my end. I like pretty much everything on ThePianoGuys's channel, though this is their newest one.

Why add salt? I never use salt or pepper when I cook. Why would I want to add something like that?
I add salt to everything for health reasons and it, along with pepper, are the only spices I use. I haven't really been using pepper either, but it helps to add a little kick to some of the sauces and all.

I know I cant cook rice at the same time as I cook the egg, but can I cook rice twice and add some eggs the second time I cook it just to see what happens?
After you cook it (stove or microwave, whichever), let it sit in the fridge. It's best to recook it in a frying pan of some sort, and then add the egg there. But sure, experiment how you want.

Wait, does rice get sticky when its hot? When I make sushi, should I wait until the rice is a bit cool or something? Wait, nevermind that, it needs to be sticky. I just dont like it when it gets all over my fucking hands.
Somethign else to keep in mind is that the rice generally used for sushi is smaller, and much stickier by default. It's a bit of a ritual to make, usually, from thoroughly rinsing the rice (until the water runs clear) and going so far as to store it in a wooden container and even cutting it a certain way with the paddle.

My list of anime would be much too long. I've got a list somewhere of at least 80 titles that I remembered the names of. Somewhere. I've been watching anime for nearly 20 years now. Many of them I didn't even know were anime until I was about 15 years old or so.

Some recent and not so recent titles I enjoyed. Some of these I may not remember much more than knowing I enjoyed them.
Sailor Moon, Oreimo, Clannad, Kanon 2006, Air TV, Yu Yu Hakusho, Cowboy Bebop, Shiki (Finished yesterday), Hellsing Ultimate, Gravitation, Abenobashi Shopping Arcade, Kare Kano, G Gundam, Gundam Wing, Dragon Ball, Great Teacher Onizuka, .hack//Sign, .hack//Legend of the Twilight, Big O, FMA: Brotherhood, Monster Rancher, Ronin Warriors, Ghost in the Shell, Samurai Champloo, Outlaw Star, Dai Mahou Touge, Sword Art Online, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Seitokai no Ichizon, The World God Only Knows, Sunday Without God.

Of these, favorites are Oreimo, Clannad, Yu Yu Hakusho, Cowboy Bebop, FMA: Brotherhood, Sword Art Online, Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Great Teacher Onizuka, TWGOK and Sunday Without God and S-Cry-Ed.
