I am guessing you can't also click the "show unread posts since last visit" and "show new replies to your posts" links?

My theory: the banner is set at 100% width and your browser doesn't support Viewport to resize it to fit to you, so the banner link sort of goes on top of the links to the right even though it doesn't look like it's on top. It is a problem with older browsers and the one I like to use, unfrotunately, but I think the newest Firefox should support it? I would suggest you to double check if you have the latest version.

Why the banner is set up this way is so that people with even smaller monitors don't have the banner go on top of the links to the right, which was a problem earlier for some. Now it should be cut off before it happens, but if your browser doesn't support Viewport, this little problem rears its ugly head.

Also waffles already asked but I wrote you this tl;dr anyways. Correct me if I'm wrong, waffles.

I'll bake you all the cakes and you are eating them and getting fat. I don't even care.

Man, do I love meat that's been cooked slowly. Also stuff that's well done anyways. Some chefs and whatevers can say medium is the best or whatever, but I just love my stuff well done.

Also you can use chili in everything. Everything. I bet you could even make a cake with chili. I'm not listening if you say it doesn't work, lalala.

Also yes broth for noodles. Best part of noodles is an excellent broth.

Speaking of pain, there was that one test where a person looked at their wound with binoculars, making the wound look bigger. It started to feel more painful. And then they turned the binoculars the other way around so the wound looked tiny, the pain also lessened.

The human mind sure is something, huh?

Use more chili.

Also, cooking rice in broth is awesome. Try it instead of just plain water, you'll get some tasty rice.

Tulpa Diaries / Re: Genesis does things with tulpas

If you're anything like me, having to write stuff up somewhere for others to read is a good motivational tool to actually keep up that writing. And you of course have to do something to write about it, so you have to do more interesting stuff with your tulpas...

I am expecting frequent enough updates. Don't leave me hanging.

Forum Discussion / Re: Forum IRC.

Last we talked about it, we came to the conclusion of "not now". Right now the forums are new and surprisingly active, so your question would hopefully be answered quickly. Directing all the questions and talk to an IRC channel would leave these forums with no activity, and having some kind of permanent answers on a board would in my mind be much better. That, and right now we have no questions asked in our Questions and Answers board, so you don't have to worry about searching through old threads in case your question has been answered before.

In the future, perhaps we will have one.

I don't consider Barbie doll anatomy NSFW, but I guess that's the kind of a picture you might not want your boss to glance at if they happen to walk past you.

Questions and Answers / Re: FAQ
« on: September 28, 2013, 11:40:01 AM »
Because we didn't say this anywhere, please do submit questions to the FAQ if you think they are asked frequently enough. That's why this thread isn't locked. Answers also accepted and I hope we can go through them together like this in case we can word them better. Short is sweet.

We'll be adding the new questions and answers to the FAQ itself, thanks a lot for your submissions, Zero.

Always good to see completely new people coming in. I hope you'll log your progress, because that's always great stuff to read.

Nothing wrong with being thorough, always good to know what you're getting yourself in and how others have done it. Don't do the same mistakes we have done and all that. Though don't let what you've read to limit you, I guess. It's your magical tulpamancing adventure, you might bump into some stuff that works for you very well.

Hope the whole head pressure communication thing works for you. Was really helpful to us, but be sure to explore it and see if you can make it fit you two better. And well, if you can't quite repeat the feeling yourself, I'd say that's a pretty good way of telling if it's you or her.

Be chill about it and treat your tulpas with respect. You're the person they need to be able to trust and you need to know your responsibilities. They're not just a toy  for your amusement and if you're not willing to have them with you for the rest of your life, don't even start.

General Discussion / Re: Where'd your tulpa get their name?
« on: September 28, 2013, 06:34:19 AM »
Had wanted to use the name in something for a while, because I found it nice. So why not the tupper? I don't think it was some person or character I named him after, just saw the name somewhere and liked it. And I guess he did too, seeing that it hasn't been changed. So, no fancy story for you.

General Discussion / Re: Tulpae and Chemicals
« on: September 28, 2013, 06:31:51 AM »
Might want to change the title to "tulpas", "tulpae" is a nonsense word that means nothing. You can do it yourself as far as I know, but I can change it to you as well.

Lessening pain, definitely. Of course it's something that I was able to learn myself too. Sometimes having a simple tulpa is pretty useful, when his advice is "just do it, I could do it, you can do it too". And in the end, it's nothing more complicated than that. It's just about ignoring the pain, though we haven't exactly tried it with anything too painful and it does take some effort to do it. Maybe with practice, it would become really easy?

There's been reports of people saying their tulpa/s have given them the feeling of high if they have experienced it before in their lives. Does anything actually happen? Hard to say, no one's tested that. The mind is one hell of a drug though, you definitely can mimic a lot with your imagination and make it seem real. Just be careful and don't be stupid about it.

Can't some people give themselves an adenaline rush anyways? Maybe I'm just thinking of something else, but eh. Kind of repeating what I said before, but you don't need a tulpa for this kind of stuff. Again, can't say if anything is actually changed when it comes to the chemistry because no one has tried, but if you have enough willpower and really think it will happen, you can do it. Placebo is a real thing and all that. Many people had the thoughts that tulpas have some innate powers of being able to do things in the brain, but really, you are the same. It's just you doubting yourself hindering you there.

As for Koomer, I'd say he didn't start this entirely sane already and the schizophrenia-like stuff had been posted even before of the whole drug thing, unless he had started the drugs before and didn't just mention them, but did mention the other dudes. At that point he was calling them tulpas, though, but that was posted in a place that as far as I can say, is gone now. Afraid you either gotta trust my word/bad memory, or ignore this as crazy ramblings.
