It is odd there do not appear to be any brooches. The bandits stated they were of utmost importance to them. I wonder what happened. Were they perhaps stripped of their brooches because they fell out of favor and left to die here? Or did someone else take them after their death? The ghouls did not have them.

Yulya brings the bandits equipment over to the elevator to let Cat decide if anything should be taken and settles to rest at the elevator.

Yulya is relieved the massive blast created by her alien friend has almost wiped out the skeletons. But at what cost? Yulya notices the damage to the ceiling and desperately gesticulates to Cat to move East hoping that Ashley Panther will also understand the danger and move. Yulya moves 30ft up onto the platform and charges her focus with 3 MP.

Yulya concentrates her attacks on Ghoul 1 with Toll of the Dead. Using 1 charge of her ring of quick casting if necessary.
As the first bell tolls and his flesh burned, the ghoul remained standing, but the second bell tolls for him, and he falls to his injuries.

Yulya is relieved the well-coordinated attack took down all the despicable undead. But she realizes with horror she forgot to charge her focus and is unable to boost spells. Doing what she always does Yulya hides her mistake and pretends nothing happened thinking of a way to smooth things out later.

The rejoicing has to wait, before Ashley makes up her mind on what to do, a sickly yellow glow comes from the two downed ghouls, Ashley and Yulya recognize this as magic, Ashley in particular understands what this is: a summoning spell. Though still blinded, Ghoul 3 is casting, drawing MP from his fallen companions. As it completes you now understand that Ghoul 3 has the ability to take initiative, with a deadly grin on his face, he then flees Southwest, taking cover behind the raised foundation.
The sound of bone smacking on rock causes Alice to glance over. A hoard of skeletons approach from the West.

Seeing the countless skeletons approach Yulya is flooded with conflicting feelings.
At least it's not humans I dont have to worry - I can go all out on Undead. Eldath will be pleased to see them eradicated...

Yulya tells herself like a mantra to overplay her obvious fear. But there is no time for that. Seeing Ashley tackle the last ghoul Yulya decides to deal with the skeletons. She moves 20ft S and 5ft E and uses the Metamagic Distant spell to cast Word of Radiance on the central skeleton and amplifies it with her goblin staff.
Begone foul unnatural creatures!



Then she retreats 5ft N

Unable to hear from the explosion Yulya looks around nervously tries to determine if anything is approaching from above or behind.

Yulya shivers as she spots the undead. She notices with relief that her comrades do not blindly attack. Testing her newly obtained abilities Yulya uses Metamagic to combine Toll The Dead and Sacred Flame and casts it on the ghoul with her goblin staff before retreating 30 ft. Seeing that Alice tossesanother explosice she covers her ears to prevent further damage.

Going deeper and deeper, Yulya wonders if she will ever see the sunlight again.
I wonder whats the purpose of all the ale. Are they having a party down here?

Yulya noties the ghoul tracks with unease.
I imagined we would meet some undead creatures down here. At least I have no issues exterminating them! Be vigilant! Those creatures lurk in dark corners! The areas around glowstones should be safe.

Ghouls? Never heard of it. Do they have ears? Sounds like what happened to the Men of Iron...
They're undead but still have a physical body, right? Any weaknesses? If they can't stand light, we should carry light sources. Can you give me a light rock, Yuyla?

Yulya tries to remember what she learned.
Uh yes they have a physical body that is not immune to physical attacks. Undead are usually weak to sunlight holy symbols and holy magic aimed at repelling them. But they cannot be poisoned as they are already dead. They do not possess a normal metabolism. Their existence is only upheld by magic. So do not waste poisoned arrows on anything that looks undead! Regarding ears it depends on their state of decay but they will not be pretty!
Yulya almost has to smile at Alices priorities. Even though childish they do lighten the mood. She casts LIGHT on a small rock and hands it to Alice before she continues to search the are with extreme prejudice paranoia.
Let us investigate the area around the elevator first before we proceed South. Slow and systematic!

I cannot remember this trap either! To think we walked past this... without Daniellas intel we would probably have fallen for it. We must advance more carefully!
Ashley do you think you can reactivate the elevator? M3gan blocked it she easily understood which chain to pull! I suggest you figure it out while we pack our gear. Take your time - we neither want to be stuck up here but especially not down there. We must prevent someone coming here from outside from doing what we did - or we might starve down there if they block the elevator from going up.

Yulya is slightly anxious about getting trapped in a mine with no way out
