It depends on the weather.
In bad weather we manage 3x 2h per week but in nice weather I'd rather be outside so it's more 1-2x

3x a week would be perfect but I can't get enough sleep then, honestly an extra half hour per session would be better. I miss being able to go for 3 hours. Right now it's only 2-2&1/2

I feel my shoulders even after 2 days well so the work to exhaustion 6x6 is definitely helping.

You can stop along the side of the road in many spots. You will find periodic rest areas with remnants of camping such as piles of wood and rock rings, but most traders stick in a convoy and arrive at the rest area together for  sdded safety.

The bullseye lanterns are a good choice and needed with animals not used to pulling at night, if you want to train them, pull past dusk until they begin to become wary.

Mules and other equines may refuse to move and dig in, start kicking, panic and run, or start breying loudly, rear up, reverse, become inconsolable for a time. The aftermath of pushing a mule too hard may be lingering issues.

So the bullseye lamp gives them a bright, wide, forward view which is reassuring so they may not even care that it's dark.

I'm going to say Gundren's cart had them but you didn't need them.

Elizabeth is there cooking breakfast for a mixed crowd, about half full of adventurers. Some you know, some you've not seen before.
Cat looks around to see if she spots Brutus

Ashley sees a small note near the kitchen denoting this morning's special provisions: fresh baked bread with butter, and fresh squeezed Juice costing 1sp and 5cp respectively, and prepares to order that. She flags Elizabeth who comes over to take orders.
Looks good Nya I'll order that Nya!

Nya looks like we won't make it to the rest stop today Nya I don't like camping out on the first night Nya while we're not used to the mules and cart Nya! But if we wait another day Nya we lose a lot of time Nya. And what else do we do today Nya? Do we need to buy anything Nya?

I figured they would not make it to the rest stop today but wasting another day?
I was thinking about bullseye lanterns but thought this wpould make us too much of a target. I mean Gundren's cart didn't have them either

[Tuesday, Spring 18, 08:10, 6C, Clear, On-Shore Breeze]

You all wake up refreshed and ready for a new day.

Do we need anything else than collecting our mules Nya and Alice's cloak Nya?

Let's have breakfast and decide what to do! I wanna get my cloak and the mules!

Let us see if we have everything we need! This is the last chance to buy any goods before we head back.

Ashley's settled down to reading by the time everyone gets up, "Hey Yulya, thanks again for helping me get this this book, it's amazing."

Everyone dresses and collects their things and are off to breakfast. The warmth of the kitchen radiates through the whole guild hall and the smell of fresh bread permeates the air. Elizabeth is there cooking breakfast for a mixed crowd, about half full of adventurers. Some you know, some you've not seen before.

You sit at a table and await service as you decide what to do and where to go first, the rest stop is a full day's travel south and you've missed that timing if you intended to do that today, so you'll be stopping along the road if you leave later. Not to mention your mules won't be used to traveling all day and may need encouragement to travel more than 8 hours until they know what they're supposed to do. Traveling at night also won't be well advised for mules. Unlike rothés who would be happy to travel night or day due to their excellent night vision. Though once used to it, and with a proper head lantern or two, you figure they eventually wouldn't mind.

[Also known as Bullseye Lanterns, Head lanterns may be affixed to the cart or held and shine to light the road ahead. Though they're standard equipment for carriages, your cart doesn't have them. They can be purchased from the cartwright for 10 gold, they weigh 2lbs. The Bullseye lantern keeps distractions to a minimum as they brightly light the road ahead in a 60 degree cone for 60 feet, dimly light it another 30 feet, and last 6 hours per flask of oil. If night travel is a possibility, having one is a must for the mules.]

That's easy, we'll just make a random list of unrelated poisonous plants randomly off the internet.

Water Hemlock, Oleander, Deadly Nightshade (Belladonna), Poison Ivy, Ricin, Bitter Almond and Datura.

Done.

In the ongoing previous run, we used a scroll to create a body for a disembodied soul of a lich who wanted a second chance.
