Had a dream involving guns and some kind of live fire theme park, wasn't legal, wasn't fun. The woman who ran it turned into a lecturing old man. I couldn't remember enough of it to be interesting.

Weird vaguely D&D related dream.
I was a scientist visiting a bioweapon research complex in a remote forest area. They didn't make Alices - but Dragon Wasps. Who both turned people into zombies and ate them. The dream was more like a video game, Half Life vibes. As often I knew this wasn't real, more like playing a game or watching a movie. So I wasn't afraid. But worried as I would have been when playing a video game. Serious business.

So we were in an office building, no security whatsoever. A scientist released a black dragon wasp in the room. It flew towards a zombified corpse on the floor, a woman with long gray hair that looked like a mummy - and somehow the wasp sucked it in. The whole body vanished in the palm-sized wasp. Ugly crunching sounds, quite disgusting.

The scientist grabbed the wasp, put it in a brown paper bag which he tossed on a desk and secured it by placing a small book on the opening. I questioned the safety measures. Then we were outside. Apparently this was Switzerland. The forest around the compound looked rather tropical but we were on a mid-altitude forested mountain and looked down on an inhabited valley. I said something about the Swiss being inbred hillbillies who have no idea what's going on up here.

While we talked, a black dragon wasp buzzed by and disappeared into the forest. Uh-oh!
That's usually the start of some horror plot. Not keen on ending up on a zombie apocalypse, I urged the scientist to get in a car and we drove off at full speed. Somebody else should deal with this shit - but not me!

the hell are you doing in your garden all the time?
>Shovel soil from the left to the right side

>rinse and repeat
We found a few relics, it's like an archaeological dig. No war stuff because there wasn't really any fighting here when the Americans came. No, it's 19th century ceramics and agricultural stuff, even a horse-shoe.

[LORE 1d20=CR] Cat is very familiar with these creatures as they're native to this area and commonly found in caves. She knows that this one is especially large and especially hard to kill. She knows not to use slashing weapons on it and to avoid physical contact as it is highly corrosive, luckily it is slow and unintelligent but still something that needs to be eliminated if resting in this area is desired.
Cat calls everyone to keep a safe distance.
Do not get close to it Nya! It will corrode any weapons Nya and splash you with acid and poison Nya! Don't use poison arrows Alice Nya its a waste Nya!

Alice can barely be stopped from running up and jumping at the creature in delight like a child hopping around on a water bed
Heee, this guy looks funny and jiggly! Nice color too!
Caat, can't you tame that ooze? It doesn't have ears but I still like it!
Nyaa are you stupid Nya? It would kill us all even if it wasn't hostile Nya! It's poisionous and corrodes everything it gets close to Nya! But it's slow Nya so we can easily outrun it Nya!

Can arrows even damage it Cat? Does it have a core?
Nyaa I don't think it has a core but arrows should work Nya just don't try to slash it Nya! It's tough Nya so this may take a while Nya!

Cat moves 10ft SE to get a clear shot, shoots an arrow at the ooze.

Yulya catches Alice by an ear and drags her back.
Stop that nonsense!
Even the mechatherial Goddess in Ashley's body is more reasonable than you! This is a dangerous monster that would even destroy your body! Search the boxes nearby if there is anything useful! Melee is out of question and arrows will also be destroyed even if  they hit. Are there any scrap piercing weapons we can throw at this ooze?

Boo, I bet nobody even tried taming it!
Alice rushes South to the shelves to see if she can find anything useful against a giant ooze, especially throwable piercing weapons.
If we had caustic soda or another lye we could neutralize it!
