I am starting to compose music. What's some good software? I don't want to buy and install a bunch of bullshit and find out its useless.

I am trying to get a #tuppers/tuplanet game on Civilisation 5 together. I plan on having it start on October 3, 2014, at 16:00 EDT. Anyone interested? Respond if you want to play.

Civilisation 4: if there's interest, I can play on most weekdays
Civilisation 5: Friday, October 3, 16:00 EDT cancelled due to lack of interest, but the opportunity to play is still there if anyone is interested.

General Discussion / Tupper Manipulation

Anyone with a pulse has heard of the recent advances in genetic engineering that allow people to alter the DNA of living creatures to produce a desired effect. Some examples are the genetic modification of corn and soybeans to resist Round-Up, or the genetic manipulation of male mosquitoes to limit their population.
So what does this have to do with tuppers?????
Well that brings me to my discussion question. My question is this: is it possible to manipulate a tupper at its basic level? To force it to change in one way or another? I have heard stories of people getting irritated when their rainbow dash tupper wasn't a carbon copy of the character from the show but I haven't heard much about change actually succeeding. Even if you don't really know, but have some two cents to put in the communal change jar, please step up and donate.
I want it to be clear that I do consider genetic manipulation, and theoretical tupper manipulation past the creation stage to be unethical. Never will I practise or advocate anything to harm a tupper or any other sentient being.

You may or may not know me from the .info site, or from the IRC server. If you don't then hello. If you do, then its good to see you again.
I have been lurking around the previously mentioned forums for a while. I stumbled on this forum while I was doing some random shit on google.
So that leads me to my question: What is the purpose of this forum? Yes I know its about tuppers, but what I mean more specifically is this: The tupper community is a pretty small one. What is the point of creating this site when .info already exists?
And like the title of the thread, that leads me to the second question: What is the history of this forum, if any? What was the founders' reasoning for creating this forum?
