TRIMMINGS OF CUTS IS NOT OKAY!

Organ meat is not healthy for everyday use, this is how you get gout.

Don't eat fast food. If you can't tell what part of the animal it came from, don't eat it.

Putting an entire chicken into a can is just wrong. But when canned properly this stuff lasts forever. And if it goes bad, the cans bloat so you notice. However, if poorly made, say hello to Mr. Clostridium botulinum

Will there be an AI bust crash or an AI boom crash? That's the lingering question. I predicted 2 and a half years ago after seeing what AI could do then that we won't need a lot of people doing what they do if AI can do it fast and free straight from the user. Imagine trying to sell graphics arts today? It's literally worthless. Voice actors will soon be the way of the dodo etc. AI is the answer to a lot of niche jobs, it does it better, and free. You can't beat that with slave labor, you don't even need to feed it.

But every company is pouring resources into this new technology and many of the things they want to use it for will help, customer service would be better than India guaranteed, but having dealt with AI customer service already, it kinda sucks off script and they seem to want to default hanging up with you, I guess to keep the line clear. The point is, will they realize no one really wants 90% of the shit they're pushing AI to do, I don't need AI to interject bullshit when all I want to do is make a .pdf.

There's been some large layoffs, which is unusual considering this is the time of year companies like Amazon ramp up to meet Christmas demand, could be a very soft Christmas.

EXGF keep saying she can't find any of the products she's used to buying and the ones she do find are 2-3x priced, smaller, and she then has to come up with a plan B. Also stores here keep shrinking their shelves, making less efficient use of floorspace, not offering any product lines, COSTCO used to have several isles just for vitamins, now it's no bigger than an endcap and there are only a few. She also noticed no one is selling any good decorations, it's all junk, low selection, and no Halloween stuff like years past, Halloween is a big deal here.

With the stock market looking like 1929, poised to drop like a rock, the government shutdown looking like it'll last to thanksgiving at least, probably into December, and millions depending on that out of luck, there will be a small crash just from that. 2 million government workers will have no pay as of November 21 if the government continues to be shut down and looks like that'll happen. Defense contractors are already being furloughed.

Looks like a rough winter ahead, but with Trump at the helm (of the world), literally anything is possible.

nvidia being worth $5 trillion is insane. i think its a bubble too. ai can do awesome shit but that doesnt mean ppl are willing to pay for it. budgets are tight and whos gonna pay lets say 50 bucks a month for some ai agent to answer your shitty questions? ai companies must be burning hilarious amounts of money just for their electricity bills rn. not their money but investors money.
