Don't you think the latest guy wasn't even Mr. Bot but some poor Russian paid to spam advertisements in forums? Still way cheaper than a smart bot.
Anyway you could annoy them by raising the post count necessary for links to 5 and see what happens.

Nah, that kind of post count is annoying for legit users. 99.99% of bots don't get through what we have right now - and it's most likely that none of them do get through unless there is a person behind them checking why they didn't manage to post.

I believe I can still reference the site at least for searches. That's good.

its weird because a lot of people are obviously posting on other boards. no idea why you cant. i can post once over vpn but theni am blocked. i am still confident the site will eventually become usableble again!

The issue with only being able to post once and then get blocked again is also pushing me away from using that for now. There's no ecaptcha just a check box and the error is:

"Post Validation Error"

I can't seem to upload a screenshot here, it says : "Your attachment has failed security checks and cannot be uploaded. Please consult the forum administrator."

There's also a very long hidden password that I didn't add there by default. Not sure what that is.

yeah i got the same now also the long pw. we can only wait. why others appear to post freely on their boards is a mystery.

It's because I had captchas enabled for every post. Most other boards don't have that.
This breaks posting right now but also prevents these morons from flooding our board with shit.

If I can just use it for searching old posts, that's enough. This site seems acceptable though it times out quickly so I need to type it in notepad and paste it in. Otherwise I think it works ok. I do miss the tags to posts.
