I'm continuing to experiment with gym strategies. Well, I will when we return. As I said I have reduced training to 2 different days: Push/Leg and Pull/Leg. However that' a lot of exercises for one session. So I'm thinking about splitting it up again, at least when we're going more than 3x per week. It fluctuates between going every day and hang week-long breaks from being away. So let's see. I'm still baffled the body gets stronger by giving it no rest at all.

At the gym 1:15 am, busy, like 100ppl there, could probably have 300 at peek. My machine is in use.

I get on the machine, been looking an hour, fucking group of 4 wants to work in.

Nah.

Dude shoots me a look, wanted to slap the bitch. Fuck off 4 working in is an insult mutherfucker.

Then I'm doing weight plus 10% on pulldown and I suddenly have to poop, like really bad.

Fucking stall is open, amazing, no toilet paper.

I go get paper towels, back, poop, now there's a line of 5, asshole in the second stall Fucking watching a full length movie en EspaƱol.

Get through it, go to swim, good, then shower, nope, the water was out. Dude. I'm glad I got out alive.

sounds like a stereotypical gym nightmare story from /fit/. guess you can call yoruself lucky you werent shot. remember the story posted on /tulpa/ where some dude in the us shot up the gym bc someone was taking too long on a machine?

things are chill in my gym. lots of ex police/mil. the deadlier the guys, the gentler they are. and few ppl. i barely ever have to wait.

not all is well but i guess safer and less crowded than the us. less corrupt? probably. we are getting there.
i did gain some weight outta nowhere recently. dont look at the scale too often. shity body fat scale at the gym says its same fat and more bone. i dont trust the thing at all i dont think i grew extra bone(r)s

Don't talk to me about weight fatty, I eat one meal a day at 1200 calories and gain weight.

Didn't eat a lot and walked abysmal distances like on every holiday. Will check if that had any impact on weight tomorrow at the gym.

Haven't been to the gym in almost 2 weeks due to being abroad and now sick. Result - the callus on my hands is coming off as the body has no need for it. It's become quite prominent to the point of being annoying at the base of my fingers, I'm still not sure if it's due to weight lifting or shoveling but I think it's more from weights and bars. Even though I'm wearing gloves. Weird.

i realized since going to the gym my arms have gotten equal strength. my right arm always used to be much stronger but since i lift the same weight with both arms i cant feel a difference anymore. thats cool

I admit this was one of the greatest ideas ever!
We have a lot of garden work now so gym time is reduced. No week-long session going every day for now as the weather is good but we work out daily. either garden or gym.

Host now additionally goes running with the loli at least once per week, mostly twice. Despite small and thin for her age the girl has surprisingly high stamina and runs 5km without any issues. I wonder if the body will be able to keep up in a few years. Not without training. I have thus issued a decree that host is to jog to the gym instead of walking there. It's about 2km in a nice area. So we additionally get 4km there and back. Why walk when you can run? Forrest Gump style.
