Tulpa Diaries / Re: Soldier's Log

You don't even use baking soda for a cake unless you have something acid in the recipe or else it won't work. Like buttermilk or vinegar or something. Baking powder is a different thing.

Didn't actually know that, but now I do. Wasn't serious about the whole baking soda thing anyway.

Did make a German Chocolate cake with coconut frosting on top, turned out well. Will have to think of something else chocolate related for Noire's birthday in the future.

Yeah, has to be real cake made with your real human hands. Get to baking.
It's called cheating, Soldier.

Do I add in the baking soda before or after I boil the water?

Is there any cake? There better be some cake. I was forced to bake a cake for a birthday.

Cake, pastries, sweet buns, honey buns, tea, anything that I know she'd like, at least now that I'm home. Thankfully mind baking is easier and cleaner than real baking.

Lis's birthday today, so that makes her one year old. Been giving her special treatment all week in celebration. Besides that, it's been all normal on our end.

General Discussion / Re: Where'd your tulpa get their name?

Lisette's name came from her wanting something that would match her somewhat aristocratic lifestyle and mannerisms. So, since it's an uncommon and good sounding name, it stuck.

Noire's came from her pitch black hair and darker clothes.

Yes pls. Can we run a teamplay once? Full on banzai charge at the filthy burgereaters? Teamwork? Teamwork?

Teamwork!

The game really gets good when two or three people get together and OPER8 together.

There was a much better picture, but have this instead.

I hope this place turns out well.
I'm betting the mods won't let anything otherwise happen.
But how come you guys don't have any interest in possession and switching?

I guess it's because we simply don't have any interest. I'll let the girls answer for themselves, but me personally, I just don't see anything fun on my part from switching or possession. It's not that I'm scared of it of anything, it just seems... boring to me. But that's my viewpoint.

Tulpa Diaries / Soldier's Log

I'm Soldier, and I've migrated here knowing that even though this place is currently small, it's extremely better than what .info has turned into. I found our about tulpas last year around this time, and started in October. I currently have 2 tulpas: Lisette who is fully sentient as well as vocal, and Noire (Name still pending) who is sentient and vocal to a degree. None of use have any interested in possession or switching at all, so we'll be working on imposition next.

Overall, all three of us are very lazy and take our time with things, so I'll update this every so often or let one of the girls talk whenever they want.

General Discussion / Re: Host Age

Seeing what I have from the various (horrible) tulpa skype groups that have sprung up over the past few months and the various IRC's, maturity is a large part of it, but it does correlate to age. In more than one occasion, a great topic is brought up and discussed by the older members, only to have it derailed by the younger members. Most trouble and drama was also caused by younger members as well, yet again on multiple occasions as well.

With that being said, I just prefer older hosts due to the better possibility of them having a fitting maturity level.

That definitely is a problem and well, of course, usually younger ones are more immature than the mature ones. Me, I wouldn't turn away mature young people though, but I wouldn't like the immature older folks. That's why I say there shouldn't really be any age limits to making tulpas, it should be about one's maturity level.

You can't really limit who can't and can make a tulpa anyway, but part of me wishes there was a Maturity level requirement. There have been some real horror stories of stabbing tulpas, blatant fetish insertion, and general idiotic autism, because some people didn't take the whole tulpa process serious. It's one thing to have fun and have your own "spin" on interacting with your tulpa, but another to think the whole thing is a game or a joke.
