[Interact at any time.]

[At the Guild][Tuesday, Spring 18, 08:30, 6C, Clear, On-Shore Breeze]

Noo, not in front of everyone! I'll leave the beetle at her desk later or slip it into her pocket before we leave!

[You will have to attempt this explicitly]

I can synthesize ethyl acetate from alcohol and acetic acid overnight, it won't be much but probably enough.

Alice embellishes her abilities which are dubious as to whether the quality would be sufficient nor in great enough volume to be useful.

[If you want to be able to do this, I'll merely require ingredients equivalent in price to the alchemist available substances, foragable is ok, so I'll allow it if you provide the process, timeframe, and base ingredients.]

So you did find a book to summon us a draft animal? Any mecha war elephants in there?

"I didn't see elephants yet and war prefix is way more advanced, like I see war dog and it's level 3 so I could transcribe a scroll for it, but dog is really weak. Horse is level 3, so I could just summon a horse, boring, a war horse would be tier 2, level 4 I think, boring."

Hey, there's your barbarian friend and that witch that made our money disappear!

Cat waves over at Brutus and Josephia, the only two she remembers. But now's not the time for chat.

Yulya feels that this will be a long day

After breakfast the group mossies on over to the stablemaster where the tender is brushing the coats of his horses in the barn.

[At the Stables][Tuesday, Spring 18, 08:30, 6C, Clear, On-Shore Breeze]

The tender explains that your mules are in good health and good spirits, he explains that they could probably only pull 8 hours but you could increase it an hour a day and they'll get up to 12 in a few days. He explains further that they could go as fast as 4 miles an hour if they're unburdened, but more like 3 miles per hour with bags or pulling.

You explain you're going to be picking them up in the morning and he informs you they'll be rested, fed and ready to go at 06:00. There's no fee prior to initial pickup.

[At the Cartwright][Tuesday, Spring 18, 09:00, 9C, Clear]

Georgia is working on one of her customer's carriages and Ashley sighs longingly before you ask her about a bullseye lantern.

"Sure we have 'em," she points out the item on the shelf [Bullseye Lantern, 10gp, 2lbs]

She also has oil at the usual price. [1sp per 1lb bottle]

-Bullseye Lantern 10gp 2lbs
-Lamp Oil 1sp 1lb
.

[At the tailor][Tuesday, Spring 18, 09:30, 10C, Clear]

The team next moved on next to pick up Alice's cloak.

An oddly familiar old man sits against the back wall, he has a long white beard and round glasses. There is a long swooping pipe in his mouth and he's sitting, watching his daughter strum a well worn koto. He has a katana strapped to his back and still looks like a capable warrior.

Music

"Damn."

The shopkeeper sees you enter and eyes Cat's armor again, then sees Alice and nods, she stands up, walking to the back wall, she removes a cloak with wolf ears and tail. "Mhm, great deal, too cheap! A lot of work, too much work! And so quick, too quick for so little. Mhm." She hands it to Alice, "Go on, try it on."

[The outfit must be tried on to see that it's fitted correctly.]

The old man in the back nods and smiles, puffing on his pipe.

[At the Adventure Shop][Tuesday, Spring 18, 9:45, 10C, Clear]
You all stop by the Adventure shop and see the Iron Pot 10lbs 2gp, and the mortar and pestle is sold with the Herbalism Kit [3lbs 5gp]. The place is bustling with business, and it has about anything you'd want of course.

-Pot, Iron 10lbs, 2gp
-Mortar and pestle, included in herbalism kit for 5gp
-Waxed wicks 2cp for 1ft

[At the Alchemist][Tuesday, Spring 18, 10:15, 10C, Clear]

Next stop, the alchemist, she's with a customer, counting his coin when you enter, he's a tall man, thin and sickly, with a long blue robe. His hood is up and she seems to be helping him nervously.

You can't make out his face, only darkness is seen under the hood.

"Ha-have a nice day!" Ms. Toadbottom says nervously to him as he moves to leave.

He stops momentarily in front of you all, then sweeps his cloak around himself and exits.

"Oh hi! Back so soon? I'm, afraid I couldn't sell your pest killer yet, wait, does this mean you already killed the dragon!?"

[Responses required]

[Poison=Base+Active+Solvent] -> Heat+time -> Tasty poison!
One of the following would be required as a base substance for poison 1lb per 10 doses:
-Potato leaves, dried bundle for medicinal purposes, 1lb 5sp (1hp)
-Tobacco leaves, dried bundle for religious purposes, 1lb, 1gp (1d2hp)

This is required for the active poison agent 1 lb for 10 doses:
-Mandrake root: at the alchemist, 5sp per lb.

These are the appropriate solvents the alchemist has available:
-90% pure Alcohol in ceramic, wax sealed jars, 1gp per lb.
-PH.9 Acid in sealed and glass stoppered glass vial (capable of storing poison), 10gp per lb.
-Empty vial capable of storing 1lb, negligible weight, 2gp

[Tuesday, Spring 18, 10:45, 10C, Clear]

Exhausted from shopping Ashley says, "I want to go back to the room and read my book."

[You can now decide what to do next, you may not need glass if you fill the lantern and use the glass from the oil, even one bottle is enough for a few bombs. Alice may want to start working on the poison, Cat may want to start honing her sword and arrows, it's not quite lunch.]

[Please let me know what you want to buy in a succinct list.]

Well it should mainly pull the cart - and have ears...
On the other hand, imagine the cart being pulled by something like that giant snakes we saw, that would look hilarious!

After breakfast the group mossies on ...
Alice looks for Elizabeth, not finding her she leaves the beetle on her counter
Whoa, it's still cold outside, I wish I had my cloak...

The team moved on next to pick up Alice's cloak.
Alice trembles with excitement
This is brilliant! You actually did it!
Alice puts on the cloak in front of a mirror and looks at herself from all sides. The wofl ears perk up yet are soft and flap a bit as Alice jumps around. The tail is also soft and sways back and forth with every move
Alice bows, the ears droop slightly forward

Excellent work, Good Sir! Even better than I had imagined!
[Item acquired: Wofl cloak]

The old man in the back nods and smiles, puffing on his pipe.

Next stop, the alchemist, she's with a customer, counting his coin when you enter, he's a tall man, thin and sickly, with a long blue robe. His hood is up and she seems to be helping him nervously.
You can't make out his face, only darkness is seen under the hood.
He stops momentarily in front of you all, then sweeps his cloak around himself and exits.
The man is faced by an odd girl wearing a cloak wit wofl ears sewn on top, looking at him with a smug grin. What an unfortunate man with an ear-less cloak!
Alice turns to Ashley after he left

Huh, is that the male version of that girl from the guild that's obsessed with you?

"Oh hi! Back so soon? I'm, afraid I couldn't sell your pest killer yet, wait, does this mean you already killed the dragon!?"
Haa, a dozen...
But we threw them away.
No, we need more stuff if we even want to get to that dragon.
[quantities to be determined]
-Tobacco leaves, dried bundle for 'religious purposes'
-Mandrake root: at the alchemist
-90% pure Alcohol in ceramic, wax sealed jars
-Empty vial capable of storing 1lb

We'd also need some healroot, how much is it?
Also do you have any broken glass by any chance? Even a few small shards would help!

Exhausted from shopping Ashley says, "I want to go back to the room and read my book."
Yes I believe we're finished with shopping - but not done.
Cat, let's look for more poisonous plants! Why buy what you can find for free!

Cat is satisfied and pats the mules
One more day Nya until you get a bit of exercise Nya!

At the Cartwright Georgia is working on one of her customer's carriages and Ashley sighs longingly before you ask her about a bullseye lantern.[/i]
"Sure we have 'em," she points out the item on the shelf
Cat buys
-1x Bullseye Lantern 10gp 2lbs
-5x Lamp Oil 1sp 1lb.
and hands her 5sp for the oil. She doesn't have any gp or enough in silver.

Alice Nyaa, we need gold Nya!

The team next moved on next to pick up Alice's cloak.
The shopkeeper sees you enter and eyes Cat's armor again.
Cat's tail sways left and right, unsure what to do. She whispers to Yulya
Nyaa, I hope this man didn't also make the armor Nya for that Noble Nya! Looks like he can make everything Nya...

Alice puts on the cloak in front of a mirror and looks at herself from all sides. The wofl ears perk up yet are soft and flap a bit as Alice jumps around. The tail is also soft and sways back and forth with every move
Cat can't help but laugh at Alice's wolf cloak!
Hahaha you look cute Nya!

At the Adventure Shop
Cat inspects the quality of the utensils and is pleased
Nya can't have enough pots Nya!
Cat buys:
-1Pot, Iron 10lbs, 2gp
-1Herbalism kit for 5gp
-5Waxed wicks 2cp

Nyaa Alice Nya!

At the Alchemist
Cat again stays outside leaving the ingredients to Alice
No way I'm going in there Nya unless it's a matter of life or death Nya!

She notices the man in black cloak hastily exiting the shop. One more reason to stay outside if such shady people frequent that shop.
Was that an assassin of something Nya?

I believe we're finished with shopping - but not done.
Cat, let's look for more poisonous plants! Why buy what you can find for free!
Cat shakes her head
Nyaa I didn't see anything in here Nya looks like they weed out anything poisonous here Nya. We must look outside the city Nya. Let's return to the guild for now Nya!

Yulya pays for breakfast as they leave.

Whoa, it's still cold outside, I wish I had my cloak...
Yulya routinely hands Alice her blanket before the cold-sensitive alien takes damage.

Alice puts on the cloak in front of a mirror and looks at herself from all sides. The wofl ears perk up yet are soft and flap a bit as Alice jumps around. The tail is also soft and sways back and forth with every move
Yulya smiles seeing Alice happy and applauds
I must say that does indeed look cute - youre our little wolf now!

Next stop, the alchemist, she's with a customer, counting his coin when you enter, he's a tall man, thin and sickly, with a long blue robe. His hood is up and she seems to be helping him nervously.
You can't make out his face, only darkness is seen under the hood.
Yulya tries to determine if he is even human using her perception skill

He stops momentarily in front of you all, then sweeps his cloak around himself and exits.
Yulya freezes then exhales in relief seeing the man leave without further trouble.

"Oh hi! Back so soon? I'm, afraid I couldn't sell your pest killer yet, wait, does this mean you already killed the dragon!?"
Good morning Miss Toad... bottom....
Uhm..
Not that I mean to pry into your customers but that man - was quite a frightening appearance!
As Alice said we need a few more ingredients before we depart for the dragon. I will leave this to her.

After shopping it is time to return to the Guild
Where will you be making this poison?
Yulya asks with slight concern

Yulya routinely hands Alice her blanket before the cold-sensitive alien takes damage.
Ah thanks, you're a lifesaver as always! But it's not as cute as the wofl cloak I'll get today! I can't wait!!

Cat buys
-1x Bullseye Lantern 10gp 2lbs
-5x Lamp Oil 1sp 1lb.
and hands her 5sp for the oil. She doesn't have any gp or enough in silver.

Alice Nyaa, we need gold Nya!
Hai, hai! Don't rush me!
Alice spits up 10gp and hands them to Cat
I hope this lantern is worth it! 10 gold!

Cat can't help but laugh at Alice's wolf cloak!
Hahaha you look cute Nya!

Yulya smiles seeing Alice happy and applauds
I must say that does indeed look cute - youre our little wolf now!
Right?
Isn't this awesome! Those guys know what they are doing!

Cat inspects the quality of the utensils and is pleased
Nya can't have enough pots Nya!
Cat buys:
-1Pot, Iron 10lbs, 2gp
-1Herbalism kit for 5gp
-5Waxed wicks 2cp
The process repeats as Cat pays 1sp for 5 wicks, leaving the 7gp for Alice

Nyaa Alice Nya!
Alice sighs
All my gold! Well at least cheaper than that lantern!
Alice spits out 7gp and hands them to Cat

Good morning Miss Toad... bottom....
Uhm..
Not that I mean to pry into your customers but that man - was quite a frightening appearance!
As Alice said we need a few more ingredients before we depart for the dragon. I will leave this to her.
Leave it to me!
Alice nods, her wofl ears flopping forward. She buys:
-5x Tobacco leaves, dried bundle for 'religious purposes', 1lb, 1gp -> 5gp
-5 lb Mandrake root, 5sp per lb -> 2gp, 5sp
-20 lbs 90% pure Alcohol in ceramic, wax sealed jars, 1gp per lb -> 20gp

This should be enough drugs and booze for a nice party this evening!

Alice suddenly feels visibly unwell before puking out 27gp
Sorry again ma'am. This is more uncomfortable for me than for you. At least you get the money. I feel so - empty, hollow even...
She hands her the remaining 5sp from her purse with an apologetic look, even the wofl ears seem to droop
Alice still hopes for some glass scraps as gift

Nyaa I didn't see anything in here Nya looks like they weed out anything poisonous here Nya. We must look outside the city Nya. Let's return to the guild for now Nya!
Seriously?
What's with this city? Is this a daycare center? Certified poison free? Ah, if I wasn't in this ridiculous shape...
Alice keeps rambling about poisons on the way home, the ears of her wofl cloak flopping with every step.

[At the Guild]

On the other hand, imagine the cart being pulled by something like that giant snakes we saw, that would look hilarious!

"I want something cool, not hilarious" Ashley says dismissively.

Not finding her she leaves the beetle on her counter

The beetle crawls awkwardly off the counter and under a cabinet in the kitchen, perhapse never to be seen again.

[At the Stable]

Sandra, doesn't seem to notice Cat but Sophia seems to recognize her and trots over to greet her cautiously.

One more day Nya until you get a bit of exercise Nya!
Cat pats her neck and Sophia seems interested in Cat's ears more than anything, sniffing them as if trying to understand their purpose.

When Ashley approaches, they both rush over to greet her.

"This is just because you like me riiight?" She hands both of them candies. "I'm your favorite riiight?" She pats them both on the nose and strokes their manes, they seem pleased by the attention and then nudge at her pack.

"Don't be greedy, I'll see you girls again tomorrow."

[At the tailor]

Excellent work, Good Sir! Even better than I had imagined!

"Ashley rolls her eyes."

The old man nods and the lady nods almost in unison, "very cheap, great deal, tell your freinds that we give deep discounts!"

[At the Cartwright]

Alice Nyaa, we need gold Nya!

Alice surely pays as inappropriately as possible.

[At the alchemist]

Was that an assassin of something Nya?

Alice turns to Ashley after he left
Huh, is that the male version of that girl from the guild that's obsessed with you?

"Ew. I don't know, and I don't want to know." Ashley doesn't even want to think about it.

Yulya tries to determine if he is even human using her perception skill

[1d20+5=21]

Yulya senses the aura around this individual, he's certainly not human, he's hiding his appearance and few have a need to do that. He's exceptionally tall and she catches his cold stare with her darkvision, his eyes are dark, either dark brown, black or red, but she can't tell since they're so dark. She smells something familiar, something she wished not to know the smell of, namely blood. She feels like she's looking into the eyes of a soulless being and she knows that feeling all too well. From the data she collected, she's still not able to put enough clues together to be definitive from just looking and smelling.

We'd also need some healroot, how much is it?Also do you have any broken glass by any chance? Even a few small shards would help!

Roseanna shrunches her nose in an apologetic way, "Oooh, I'm so sorry, that's always out of stock because I supply the tower with them for their potions, they have a standing order to buy every one I get for a markup, I doubt anyone has that, but if you find some, I'd be willing to pay more them market for them. I also don't have any extra glass at all, the Hot Shop, buys all glass shards and scraps for 1 gold per pound, I'm afraid it's just too good to pass up."

Not that I mean to pry into your customers but that man - was quite a frightening appearance!

"Oh well, I try not to pry into the private lives of my paying customers, I can say he's been here before but yes, I also noticed something off, he never talks, he doesn't even brethe! "Not that I can see him breath but..." she shivers "I won't be inviting him into my home if you know what I mean. But coin is coin, I can't afford to discriminate."

Cat, let's look for more poisonous plants! Why buy what you can find for free!

Nyaa I didn't see anything in here Nya looks like they weed out anything poisonous here Nya. We must look outside the city Nya. Let's return to the guild for now Nya!

"I'll be in the room. I'm not looking forward to walking all day tomorrow..." Ashley says with a sigh and leaves for the guild along with everyone.

Alice keeps rambling about poisons on the way home, the ears of her wofl cloak flopping with every step.

Where will you be making this poison?

[Required Response from Alice]

You have purchased the following:

5x-Tobacco leaves, dried bundle for religious purposes, 1lb, 1gp (1d2hp) (5gp for 5lbs)
5x-Mandrake root: at the alchemist, 5sp per lb. (25sp for 5lbs.)
20x-90% pure Alcohol in ceramic, wax sealed jars, 1gp per lb. (20gp for 20lbs, enough to make 5 vials of poison)
5x-Empty vial capable of storing 1lb, 2gp (10gp for 5)

1x-Bullseye Lantern 10gp 2lbs
5x-Lamp Oil 1sp 1lb. (5sp for 5)

1x-Pot, Iron 10lbs, 2gp
1x-Herbalism kit for 5gp
5x-Waxed wicks 2cp (10cp for 5)

Total
52gp
30sp
10cp

You have 8pp, 36gp, 4sp remaining.

"I don't have any extra glass at all, the Hot Shop, buys all glass shards and scraps for 1 gold per pound, I'm afraid it's just too good to pass up."
Haa, glass is valuable here, I guess. Well, it can't be helped...

Where will you be making this poison?
Yulya asks with slight concern
Hmm, no idea actually!
I'm an alien. I don't know where it's appropriate to cook poison - other than that alchemist's shop - probably. We better ask Freya!

Leave it to me!
Alice nods, her wofl ears flopping forward. She buys:
-5x Tobacco leaves, dried bundle for 'religious purposes', 1lb, 1gp -> 5gp
-5 lb Mandrake root, 5sp per lb -> 2gp, 5sp
-20 lbs 90% pure Alcohol in ceramic, wax sealed jars, 1gp per lb -> 20gp

This should be enough drugs and booze for a nice party this evening!
As Alice exits to proudly show off her purchases, Cat's ears fold backwards

our math genius did something dumb again and forgot to pay the glass vials for 10gp

Alice Nyaa!
Where are we supposed to store the poison Nyaa!

Cat shoos Alice back in to buy 5x-Empty vial capable of storing 1lb, 2gp (10gp for 5) and turns to the others
Nyaa did you see the man in black cloak Nya? What was that about Nya?

Cat isn't concerned about cooking poison in the guild kitchen or room as long as her pots aren't used.

[Tuesday, Spring 18, 11:30, 17C, Clear]

You walk through the streets and the wind shifts to a more off-shore breeze over the city, and the temperature increases, making this a very pleasant day.

"Maybe all black isn't the best choice." Ashley says as she removes her cloak and the sun beats down on her fashion choice, causing her hair to saturate with moisture at the tips.

You make your way to the Guild and find it bustling just before lunch. There's hardly a free table but one party sees you enter and welcomes you to sit.

Josephia waves you over and Ashley takes her up on the offer for a seat next to her, "Are you buying?"

"Oh Ashley, you're such a brat, and what will you do for me?"

Jack, their Paladin Leader, sees who just sat down and slams his napkin to the table, "I'll be training at the Southern guard post." Without another word from anyone else he leaves.

"Hello again you all, well it feels like only a week ago that you were here getting your plates for the first time and rumor has it you're already level 3 and picking a fight with dragons." Herald the Archer says with a smirk, "Ashley, I'll buy your lunch if you would accept it."

"Sure whatever." She says and pulls out her book, "Hey Josephia, what animal would be coolest to pull an awesome carriage?" She turns through the pages and points at a list, "What do elves use?"

Josephia laughs, "'Coolest?' Horses? We elves do like our horses, though in the Eastern deserts you might find camels hauling supplies, I've seen the largest being pulled by a mekillot, now that's a creature that would make a heavy rothè tremble yet they do manage to tame them somehow. In the Northern frozen regions, woollier things tend to work well, the horses of that region have curly hair, they're quite cute. Are you planning on acquiring a beast of burden?"

"Na, we got mules but my new carriage will be pulled by a summoned creature, so it can be pretty much anything." Ashley taps her book, "Anything."

Faren, the wizard who so graciously cleaned the mess Alice made, welcomes the group with a wise old smile, "The least I can do is buy the rest of you lunch, and if you have any other spills, you know who to call." He laughs and you realize he has four empty tankards in front of him.

You see Freya flitting around trying to keep up as well as running back to the kitchen to tend her cooking meal, there's a large spit over the fire turning a substantial hog being roasted, as well as the scent of fresh bread in the oven and a large pot of potatoes and other vegetables boiling away. The lunch menu, delicately written on a chalk board, reflects several dishes containing these three elements, as well as the standard fare, fresh apples, cider and drinks.

You'll be happy about it when we get back to that icy cold! I'm not looking forward to that at all!
Alice also packs her wofl cloak into her backpack and enjoys the warm sun in her Yukata

You make your way to the Guild and find it bustling just before lunch. There's hardly a free table but one party sees you enter and welcomes you to sit.
Alice dons her Kitsune mask

Jack, their Paladin Leader, sees who just sat down and slams his napkin to the table, "I'll be training at the Southern guard post." Without another word from anyone else he leaves.[/i]
Alice looks confused.
What's his problem?
Ohyeah, I remember Ashley did something to him, right? Well, he's not the only one...

"Hello again you all, well it feels like only a week ago that you were here getting your plates for the first time and rumor has it you're already level 3 and picking a fight with dragons." Herald the Archer says with a smirk, "Ashley, I'll buy your lunch if you would accept it."
Ashley's sure popular with men and women alike...
And don't get me started with dragons! I got bitten by one after booping it on the nose. The audacity of those lizards...

"my new carriage will be pulled by a summoned creature, so it can be pretty much anything." Ashley taps her book, "Anything."
War elephant!
Alice remakes across the table

Faren, the wizard who so graciously cleaned the mess Alice made, welcomes the group with a wise old smile, "The least I can do is buy the rest of you lunch, and if you have any other spills, you know who to call." He laughs and you realize he has four empty tankards in front of him.
Alice gives him a sour look
If I could charge 50gp for my cleaning services I'd be rich! But I do it for free...
Well, it's not your fault. Freya needlessly requested this after summoning an Archdemon during my level-up. Yet somehow nobody cared and it was my fault? Fine, I won't forget. Alice never forgets!

Alice cleans out Faren's empty tankards with a finger while rambling to herself
But that doesn't mean I wouldn't accept a meal, especially if it smells so good...

You see Freya flitting around trying to keep up as well as running back to the kitchen to tend her cooking meal, there's a large spit over the fire turning a substantial hog bring roasted, as well as the scent of fresh bread in the oven and a large pot of potatoes and other vegetables boiling away. Alice tries to read the menu
Not that I care much, I'm sure it's all good, especially if it's free!
For a moment Alice remembers she has a backpack full of poison and wonders how and where it could be prepared. But only for a moment.

Pale she sits a the table and tries to steer the converstaion away from the book.

Uhm thank you!
Indeed the last days were intense but we somehow made it to level 3! I am very much surprised myself.
...
By the way, we just encountered a strange man - no being - at the alchemist. Very unsettling. Tall and thin in a black cloak. I could not make up any facial details under the hood only darkness and the smell of - blood? The girl said this customer never talked. I am certain this wasnt a living breathing being. There was no soul in this - thing. An undead perhaps?? Have you ever encountered something like this?

Faren, the wizard who so graciously cleaned the mess Alice made, welcomes the group with a wise old smile, "The least I can do is buy the rest of you lunch, and if you have any other spills, you know who to call." He laughs and you realize he has four empty tankards in front of him.

Ah yes if we do not trouble you I welcome this offer...
Yulya glances over at Freya and hopes there is no trouble

Faren looks Yulya dead in the eyes, "Don't take this the wrong wat but your team mate also has no soul. Frankly speaking many of the denizens of Faerûn are soulless automatons; golems, clockwork beasts, animated puppets, and some nobles I know."

Josephina cackles, "Faren! That's why I stay with you, your humor is well worth the price of your smell."

He bristled, then chuckled, "speaking of smell, of blood I can't say, not speaking is also indicative of a puppet or automation, I always meant to make one myself, oh how I'd love a beautiful doll to wait on me hand and foot."

Herald stopped him, "Faren please, we're about to eat."

Josephia spoke next, "Could it have been a vampire?"

"Oh I doubt a vampire needs alchemist supplies but if he did, he could just buy the blood he needs, was he buying blood?" Faren asked Yulya.

Cat laughs at the temperature-sensitive mimosas as she strolls back to the guild.
She takes a seat, prevents Yulya from hiding and drools over the delicious food.
Nyaa that smells heavenly Nya thanks for the invite Nya!

"Hello again you all, well it feels like only a week ago that you were here getting your plates for the first time and rumor has it you're already level 3 and picking a fight with dragons."
Good to see you again Nya!
Nya not only dragons Nya, hordes of goblins Nya and wolves Nya, giant snakes Nya and even some bandits Nya! By the way Nya, Alice got pretty good with her bow Nya!

Frankly speaking many of the denizens of Faerûn are soulless automatons; golems, clockwork beasts, animated puppets, and some nobles I know."
Cat lets out a laugh
Nyahaha definitely nobles Nya!
But Alice's not a boring puppet Nya, she's really fun Nya!

Vampire Nya? Never seen one Nya. Are they all dangerous ane evil Nya?

You see Freya flitting around trying to keep up as well as running back to the kitchen to tend her cooking meal, there's a large spit over the fire turning a substantial hog being roasted, as well as the scent of fresh bread in the oven and a large pot of potatoes and other vegetables boiling away. The lunch menu, delicately written on a chalk board, reflects several dishes containing these three elements, as well as the standard fare, fresh apples, cider and drinks.
Cat waves over to Freya to order a free meal and some cider

Alice rambles on about things in a confused way that no one follows and trails off to mumbles and spits.

When she reaches into one of Faren's empty tankards he gives her a confused look but goes back to talking.

Nya not only dragons Nya, hordes of goblins Nya and wolves Nya, giant snakes Nya and even some bandits Nya! By the way Nya, Alice got pretty good with her bow Nya!

Herald raises an eyebrow, "oh very nice, and may I recommend learning about Flurry, it's a matter of firing rapidly at the same target and it makes a big difference in keeping damage up."

[If you take the feat 'Flurry', you can fire twice at a designated target with one attack.]

Cat pats Alice on the back causing the mask to fall of her face

Seeing the doll-like unnerving face of her friend, Ashley quickly smashes the mask back on, making sure it sticks this time. "She's been ill lately. Like all the time." Ashley bites her lip to keep from laughing.

Cat hears mention of a vampire

Josephina pats her on the shoulder, "only if they can't control their thirst... which is frequently the case."

Faren remarks, "technically no, but losing your soul sometimes means you lose that connection to a moral compass, so they tend to revert to a more instinctual existence. Adding to that, they're so tough that they can get away with it if they're careful. No one misses a runaway orphan or when a stray refugee goes missing, the pleas of their family seldom raises alarm."
