Yulya enjoys marching through the warmer spring scenery and looks forward to reaching Neverwinter. But she notices Ashley and Summer having trouble keeping the pace.

Oh dear I keep forgetting we are traveling with a child! How are you doing Summer? You have been doing great so far, we marched an enormous distance! We should rest and eat here before you collapse on the last mile!
Cat can you scout out a good location to set up our tent? Preferably out of sight from the main road!
Once Cat has found a spot Yulya searches the area for potential threats before the tent is set up.
Fine let us rest here and leave early so we can enter Neverwinter in the morning!

Alice shakes her head
You wanna defeat an Ice Dragon with that pathetic stamina? You'd die before we even reach it! Even I could go on in my pathetic state!
But fine, I'm not against a warm meal! It's still cold though far warmer than in Phandalin! Only 20°C more and I'd feel comfortable.

Alice helps Cat set up the tent and assists with cooking.
Hey, while we are at it, let's make firebombs after we have eaten!

Cat laughs at Alice's lecture
Nyahaha looks like you ain't the weakest anymore Alice Nya! t least for now Nya!
Alright alright Nya, even I can't carry you all to Neverwinter if you can't go on anymore Nya
Cat proudly remembers running to Neverwinter on her own when the horses of Gundren's carriage were exhausted

Cat scouts a place for the tent and sets it up, then proceeds to cook one ration for each.
My apologies for the lack of variety Nya but it's rabbit and Nyaa you know...

After dinner Cat lets Alice clean the pots and helps her cook the ingredients for firebombs, keeping a safe distance.
Nyaa, you go all the stuff Alice Nya! You're the chef when it comes to this Nya!

How are you doing Summer?

Noting the struggle of a 10-yr old after walking 36 miles, Yulya asks with concern.

"Better then I expected but my legs are butter now." She has a good attitude but she's about at her end.

"Yeah, I'm not really keen on serious exhaustion considering it takes days to recover and we don't have days to lay around." Ashley says astutely.

You wanna defeat an Ice Dragon with that pathetic stamina?

Cold stare.

My apologies for the lack of variety Nya but it's rabbit and Nyaa you know...

Summer perks up with the notion of a certain type of food. "Oh YES! If you can spare it, please I'll take the longle, I suppose we won't be having it in the city."

Ashley stares at Summer in dissaproval too.

"Rabbit for me please. Luckily we're close to Neverwinter or I'd go hunting."

"Hunting? After that walk?" Summer asks.

"I know a few tricks too, well technically I'm cursed, I can become a demon black panther from the negative plane."

Summer looks surprised, but she remains silent.

[Situational Rolls]

Cat finds a good location and sets up the fire to warm the rations and firebombs while Yulya looks around for any signs of trouble but is sure she finds none.

[The firebombs are successfully made presuming you have all the ingredients and Alice and Cat both supervise. Please update the inventory accordingly and let me know how much you made.]

[22:00 Saturday, Spring 15, 5C]

Time passes and the crisp, cool, clear night ascends and so does a chill in the air, but it feels right and natural, and the crickets chirp happily; all of which is a stark contrast to the cold air and frost of the previous night.

Just before you decide on who will take first watch, [Do please let me know the order if different from last night] 6, presumably Neverwinter, militia push north in the darkness with their lanterns blazing. They don't notice the tent or fire and march along unaware of your presence.[/i]

[You may choose to stop them or let them pass unaware of you if you like, they're on foot and in plate mail, moving slowly but seem to be wearing similar garb to the Neverwinter guards.]

"I know a few tricks too, well technically I'm cursed, I can become a demon black panther from the negative plane."
And it's awesome! If you stay with us you'll see her!
I hoped to ride that panther into battle but meeeh, Ashley's not too fond of that idea. Maybe she'll let you ride her when she's a panther!

Alice happily eats the last remnants of mystery meat stew and then gets to work producing Alice cocktails with Cat

[The firebombs are successfully made presuming you have all the ingredients and Alice and Cat both supervise. Please update the inventory accordingly and let me know how much you made.]
Alice rummages through her and Cat's backpack and readies the ingredients for 2 firebombs:
1x soap
2x candles
2x full oil flasks
2x scraps of clothes for wicks
2x sealing wax
2x light glass vials for shards
1lb alcohol from goblin waterflask
0.2lb agar

You guys keep a safe distance! This is work for the grown-ups!

After all is done and cleaned, Alice dons her cloak and is ready to take the first shift again.
Same guard rotation as yesterday?

Yulya chooses to eat a vegetable-mushroom ration tonight and watches from a safe distance as Alice and Cat act out their pyromanic hobby.Noticing the Neverwinter militia approach Yulya signals everyone to be quiet and hopes they will pass by without any trouble.

[Survival Rolls]

[06:00 Sunday, Spring 16, 5C]

[Being Sunday, the shops will be closed today in Neverwinter, but the guild is always available for cooking, and rooms are always for rent.]

This close to Neverwinter, with guard patrols, road masters, and militia, not to mention the refugees, there's no reason to attack adventurers. So the night is quiet and serene, the stars twinkle, the crickets chirp endlessly, the frogs croak and all in all it's a very relaxing night. The temperature never drops below 5C and in fact the breeze coming off the ocean is warmer than that. So just as Yulya is about to wake everyone up for their early walk four refugees approach bearing berry wine in water flasks, rough wild grain bread, and honey combs for sale among other things.

They're wearing commoner's clothes, and are generally dusty but otherwise the food seems reasonable. "We're selling the fruits of our labors to earn enough to enter Neverwinter so we can make a life for ourselves."

The Prices are as follows:

-1lb loaf of rough bread: 1sp (equivalent to a ration)
-Water flask of berry wine 4 pints (4 servings) 4sp
-1/2lb honeycomb: 5cp (this is a rare treat and can be split 10 ways)

They also have minor trinkets:

-Rough gem ore that has been hand smoothed to a mirror luster 2sp/lb mixed
-Firewood 1sp per 10lbs,
-Metal scrap at 1cp/lb.

[Keep in mind that this transaction is not sanctioned by the trade guild, but any of these will cost at least 2x in Neverwinter if not much more. They can be sold for a profit  to the right trader.]

[Currently everyone but Yulya is still asleep]

Yulya nervously eyes the refugees approaching the tent but soon it appears they are not a threat. Paranoid as always Yulya still uses PERCEPTION to determine their intentions. Better safe than sorry.
Good morning! We are adventurers from Neverwinter! We are glad to offer help in those difficult times and your goods look very nice. Unfortunately we are packed to the brim but we will see what we can still carry!

Yulya wakes the others to have a look at the offersRise and shine everyone! A new trade opportunity has arisen including delicious food! The honeycombs look like an especially good deal!

She turns to summerI apologize for bothering you this early my child but could you use your cleaning magic on those people? Look how dust they are! The Gods always reward a good deed! Unfortunately I do not possess such skills and Alices way of doing this though effective is a bit - odd.

Alice wakes up to unfamiliar sounds, rustling under her pile of clothes.
After determining it's not an emergency situation, she lets the others step over her and out of the tent to re-shape herself. Finally a half-dressed girl wearing a kitsune mask exits the tent to inspect the visitors and greets them enthusiastically

Finally we meet some nice people! They have food!

Alice sniffs the honeycombs
Is this - honey?
I've heard about it but never come across the real thing! How cool is that? We should take it all!
The berry wine and bread smell good too! Local food is the best! I finally feel like a proper tourist.

Alice eyes the scrap metal and gem ore, touching it with her fingers to get a rough idea of its chemical composition
This might be useful for my transformation!

Alice feels a bit insulted
Well excuse me for not being able to use fancy magic! I still take great pride in my cleaning skills!

Cat yawns and exits the tent to greet the refugees
Good Morning Nya, you alright Nya?

Cat has not much interest in trade and lets the others handle this but sympathizes with the poor commoners and their honest work.

[06:00 Sunday, Spring 16th, 5C]
Yulya uses PERCEPTION to determine their intentions.

[PERCEPTION 1d20+5=11]
Note: this is not a bad roll, but it's not conclusive, some situations require different tiers of perception to know all the necessary overall details, they're usually 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30. So with a score of 11, you will know all there is to know to that level, in most cases this is enough, but in other situations this would only give a false sense of security if nothing was found.

Nothing unusual is seen, they appear to be genuine.

Unfortunately we are packed to the brim but we will see what we can still carry!

The refugees seem overjoyed for the offer.

I apologize for bothering you this early my child but could you use your cleaning magic on those people?

Summer wakes and pulls herself up, she stumbles outside and sees the refugees, with a bow she addresses them, "Attendant in the Leilon high tower of Thalivar at your service, would you appreciate a magical cleaning."

The eldest, no more than 30, spoke, "For the asking surely but we don't have any coin to spare."

"Not to worry, I don't charge, would you mind moving closer together?" Summer said and after they moved, with a snap of her fingers they were instantly cleaned.

They looked at each other in amazement and all bowed deeply to Summer, "You will be a grand wizard before you leave schooling."

Summer laughed, "Would that I could impress my masters with such a simple spell; though I would agree it's useful, my masters don't share your standards, but thank you all the same."

Is this - honey? I've heard about it but never come across the real thing! How cool is that? We should take it all! The berry wine and bread smell good too! Local food is the best! I finally feel like a proper tourist.

They're very happy to meet you and appreciate the kind words and well wishes.

Good Morning Nya, you alright Nya?

They respond in kind and thank Cat for her concern.

The following was exchanged:
-3 skins of Berry Wine (15lbs) purchased for 12sp worth 6 gold for sellable quality (not fine) in the bottle (4 lbs = 4 pints) with no bottling, bootleg, it will be worth 4gp, the quality is new. It can them be sold to any shop that carries wine for gp or 24sp, if Ashley has a trade guild liscence, she can sell it for wholesale or .8x4gp=32sp, with a trade agreement, as much as 40sp, but typically this negotiated depending on how much profit the store owner will take and how much the supplier will take.

-3 lbs of rough bread purchased for 1sp each in new condition, it is worth 5sp each as these are large loafs, again, this is the retail price, the quality is new.

-2.5 lbs of honeycomb for 25cp in new condition, it's worth 5sp.

-1 lb gem ore was purchased for 2sp but it is worth 4sp.

-15lbs of scrap iron purchased for 15cp and worth 30cp, for the sake of trade it's counted as new because it was properly sorted and cleaned.

"Looks like getting a trade license for me is high priority."

After breakfast (.5 ration each 3x per day if traveling/working 12 hours) [survival rolls], you pack up and are on your way north again. In a short 6 hours you find yourselves at the familiar southern Gate of Neverwinter.

[Sunday, Spring 16, 12:00, Sunny, 18C]

[Conversation with the guard.]

It's a beautiful spring day with a nice coastal breeze, you approach the gate, there are no carts in line, and you see someone familiar.

Cat goes through first and the guard notes her tag, "you're good. Welcome back Tabaxi Notdragon."

She looks at Yulya's tag and Alice with a slight hesitation, "the mask, would you please lower the mask."

Alice does and she cringes, "okay, sorry, put it back," she breaths as if startled and looks over Ashley with her ear tag, "ugh." She says while rolling her eyes then her eyebrows raise as she stands staring down at Summer with a less than a happy expression. "Oh, it's you."

After a lingering glance into her eyes, Summer walks up and taps her breatplate, "is that any way to greet your baby sister?!"

The guard lets out an irritated sigh, "I'm not your sister, my father married your mother after my mother died, and besides you renounced the family."

"Elandra, I'm still your sister!" Summer said adamantly and stomps a foot.

"At any rate, news traveled ahead of you, so aren't you a couple days late? Why weren't you with your carriage?"

"Fate led me on a new path, and I found my heros who will kill the snow dragon."

The guard's one eyebrow raised again, "you mean this rabble will be the heroes to defeat the dragon?" She laughed heartily "Really?"

Summer stares into her eyes, "Yes, I have my resons, but know this, his wintery reign will end! By the way, who was driving my carraige?"

"It came through while I was off duty," She reaches into the guard house and pulls out a ledger, "Hmm... looks like they had a valid trade guild plate so he was let through on the 14th. No further details." She waves her off as if not wanting to continue the conversation, "Like taking a stick to a swordfight, but good luck and give my regards to the prince."

"His offer stands," Summer says alluringly, "we could be pampered in the castle together if you accept."

"I have no interest in the royal life or in being a concubine in his heram, and with a human no less, never? Did he send you here to ask me that?" Yulys recognizes now that this woman in front of her is Asimar, the starkly colored hair wasn't enough to be sure but she can feel it.

"Noooo, he's not a letch, all his mates saught him out," Summer defends.

"What about you?"

"I'm not *that kind* of attendant. Your loss Elandra."

With a humph, she lets you all in.

[Required Actions It is Sunday, so no shops are open.]

Alice looks at the trade goods with delight
Neat!
I know this brings some profit if we sell it but uhh - shouldn't we at least taste all that delicious things? I'm hungry!
Alice removes her mask and looks at Yulya with puppy eyes - which produces more of a horrifying than cute effect

Time for an appetizer!
Alice sorts through the scrap metal and swallows 1lb of metal peaces that look like they could contain unusual alloys
She washes the rattling metal down with 1lbs of gem ore and burps

Bah, that was awful!
I need some actual food now!

After breakfast Alice, waltzes towards Neverwinter in high spirits, getting more and more excited as the party approaches the town. At the gate, Alice dons her mask again. Having hidden in or under the cart the last times they entered, Alice doesn't know the guard and is confused by the familiar action.

Hey whosdat? Your friend?

She unwillingly removes her mask and sighs at the negative reaction
Rude!

Alice listens to the conversation between the guard and Summer with growing agitation, jumping from one foot to the other as her entire body appears to vibrate an tingle. As the party is finally allowed to pass, Alice throws her arms in the air and races through the gate
YEHAWW, FINALLY!!
I'M BAAACK...

...MISTAH TREE!!
Alice takes a left turn, races along the wall and jumps over it into the garden she hid in when she first entered the city

Alice frantically hugs the tree before climbing up into the canopy
Mistah Tree! My only friend!
How have you been? Are there any bugs bothering you!?
Quite a lot happened in the last days, you wouldn't believe it!

Alice is busy telling Mr. Tree about her adventures and unavailable for the next few hours
