Mr. Bigglesworth stairs out into the darkness, watching Alice's beetle briefly and otherwise ready to pounce on anything that comes near that may disturb Ashley's sleep.

Cat also goes to sleep in the bed with Yulya
Good Night, Nya!

No seriously, we need some glass shards for our firebombs. I was just looking if I could recycle any broken glass! If you come across any before we leave tomorrow, pls save it for me, Freya!

"I'm afraid I have no spare glass that isn't already being well used, there's other shops that may deal with glass and have scrap but I believe they reuse the glass frequently. However, you may be able to buy some and make your own shards? I'm sorry I can't be more helpful and good luck to you." Freya looks genuinely sorry she couldn't help.

The crisp clear morning sun lights the nearby structures with a brilliant golden yellow that even the shutters can't keep out. Through the cracks in the window slats the beams of light shine like golden blades across the floor and walls.

Ashley plays with Mr. Bigglesworth, flitting a feather around as he attempts to catch it. Otherwise the quiet room is free from drama for the moment. With no rush in particular, she's quietly waiting for everyone to wake on their own.

Alice is woken up in better spirits than usual. Sunshine, warm weather and the prospect of mule and wofl ears promises a great day. She dances through the room with the beetle in hand

Yay what a nice day!
I'm hungry there weren't too many leftovers! Cat's cooking is too effective!
Let's have breakfast and decide what to do! I wanna get my cloak and the mules!

Alice runs downstairs to look for Elizabeth

After an uneasy guilt-ridden night of pondering stolen books Yulya wakes up tired and decides to deny anything like that ever happened
Good morning everyone!

At breakfast Yulya gathers the party to prepare leaving for Phandalin.
Let us see if we have everything we need! This is the last chance to buy any goods before we head back.

[Tuesday, Spring 18, 08:10, 6C, Clear, On-Shore Breeze]

You all wake up refreshed and ready for a new day.

Do we need anything else than collecting our mules Nya and Alice's cloak Nya?

Let's have breakfast and decide what to do! I wanna get my cloak and the mules!

Let us see if we have everything we need! This is the last chance to buy any goods before we head back.

Ashley's settled down to reading by the time everyone gets up, "Hey Yulya, thanks again for helping me get this this book, it's amazing."

Everyone dresses and collects their things and are off to breakfast. The warmth of the kitchen radiates through the whole guild hall and the smell of fresh bread permeates the air. Elizabeth is there cooking breakfast for a mixed crowd, about half full of adventurers. Some you know, some you've not seen before.

You sit at a table and await service as you decide what to do and where to go first, the rest stop is a full day's travel south and you've missed that timing if you intended to do that today, so you'll be stopping along the road if you leave later. Not to mention your mules won't be used to traveling all day and may need encouragement to travel more than 8 hours until they know what they're supposed to do. Traveling at night also won't be well advised for mules. Unlike rothés who would be happy to travel night or day due to their excellent night vision. Though once used to it, and with a proper head lantern or two, you figure they eventually wouldn't mind.

[Also known as Bullseye Lanterns, Head lanterns may be affixed to the cart or held and shine to light the road ahead. Though they're standard equipment for carriages, your cart doesn't have them. They can be purchased from the cartwright for 10 gold, they weigh 2lbs. The Bullseye lantern keeps distractions to a minimum as they brightly light the road ahead in a 60 degree cone for 60 feet, dimly light it another 30 feet, and last 6 hours per flask of oil. If night travel is a possibility, having one is a must for the mules.]

Ashley sees a small note near the kitchen denoting this morning's special provisions: fresh baked bread with butter, and fresh squeezed Juice costing 1sp and 5cp respectively, and prepares to order that. She flags Elizabeth who comes over to take orders.

Cat looks around to see if she spots Brutus

Looks good Nya I'll order that Nya!

Nya looks like we won't make it to the rest stop today Nya I don't like camping out on the first night Nya while we're not used to the mules and cart Nya! But if we wait another day Nya we lose a lot of time Nya. And what else do we do today Nya? Do we need to buy anything Nya?

Alice glances over to Ashley
Hey where did you buy that book? Looks expensive!

I figured we wouldn't make it to the rest stop today. Looks like we gotta leave really early tomorrow. I wonder if that stable guy will let us keep the mules there for another night without having to pay. I still don't see why those divas' lodging costs more than twice each than our room for 4.

Alice spots Elizabeth
Good morning!
Yeah obviously I'll take that breakfast too!

So what else can we do today?
You wanna visit that bath again, Yulya?
I need to find more glass shards and old clothing for wicks, I don't see why we should pay for trash. If you want I can show you how to make poisonous arrows. I'm not good with identifying plants of that world, that's Cat's job. But I can tell you what substances are inside a plant and how to process them into something useful.

"Yulya got it for me."

Yulya also orders the same breakfast and then considers the options for the day.
Yes indeed we will not make it to the rest stop today. I agree it is not worth rushing through the night - at least not until we are familiar with the animals. It looks like we also need lighting in case we do that.

As Elizabeth leaves Yulya looks at Alice
Didnt you look forward to give her that beetle for whatever reason? Not that I think you should...
What do we need for poison arrows and is this safe? Seeing the ruckus you caused in the poisoned state I do not even want to know what would happen to Cat in such state.
And I am not against visiting the bath at all if you would like. You collapsed in there last time. I do think we have sufficient funds.

Yulya tries to ignore the book as long as possible but the elephant in the room grows bigger and bigger. She turns to Ashley with a pained look
In Eldath's name at least dont parade it around like this before someone starts asking questions!

Elizabeth takes the order for bread and juice from the group. "Easy day, it'll just be a minute."

Nya I don't like camping out on the first night Nya while we're not used to the mules and cart Nya! But if we wait another day Nya

I figured we wouldn't make it to the rest stop today. Looks like we gotta leave really early tomorrow.

Yes indeed we will not make it to the rest stop today. I agree it is not worth rushing through the night - at least not until we are familiar with the animals.

Ashley's intuition kicks in, "I bet we wouldn't make it anyway, these mules aren't even used to pulling all day, are they?"

I wonder if that stable guy will let us keep the mules there for another night

"He said he would."

In Eldath's name at least dont parade it around like this before someone starts asking questions!

"They won't if they know what's good for them, I just found a spell that could summon a bone dragon." Ashley looks satisfied with her response. "This book is so fun! Anyways, only Summer knows and I don't see her here, do you?"

Cat looks around and finds Brutus with his companions. Josephia's also at a table with her group. The half-orcs are there and the dragonewts too.

Elizabeth returns with the bread and juice, it smells heavenly and the juice has sweet and delicate berry flavor.

Alice munches down her breakfast

Didnt you look forward to give her that beetle for whatever reason? Not that I think you should...
Alice blushes
Noo, not in front of everyone! I'll leave the beetle at her desk later or slip it into her pocket before we leave!

What do we need for poison arrows and is this safe? Seeing the ruckus you caused in the poisoned state I do not even want to know what would happen to Cat in such state.
Uhm, relatively I guess?
Normally I'd just spit out the final product but in this shape...
All we need is alcohol and some pot. We probably shouldn't do it in the ones Cat cooks with.
If you want the real deal we also need a small amount of acid like acetic acid and a base like quicklime. Also an organic solvent. I can synthesize ethyl acetate from alcohol and acetic acid overnight, it won't be much but probably enough.

I am not against visiting the bath at all if you would like. You collapsed in there last time.
Yes, yes you don't have to rub it in. I'll be careful this time.

I just found a spell that could summon a bone dragon.
Haa?
So you did find a book to summon us a draft animal? Any mecha war elephants in there?
But no bone dragon pls! It's not cute and doesn't have ears!

Cat looks around and finds Brutus with his companions. Josephia's also at a table with her group.
Hey, there's your barbarian friend and that witch that made our money disappear!
