[Yulya's Shot]

All hops set on Yulya to prevent a lot of hassle as she concentrates on trying that again, the snake isn't that tanky, it can be hit, so she takes up her focus and gives it all she can.

[Luck 1d20=7, Wild Magic Effect 1d100=1, Magnitude 1d20=5]

She can feel Ashley's energy intermingling with hers as she casts through the focus and for a hopeful 3.75x boost against the snake. A resonance builds within her, like nothing she's felt before and it's a power more immense than she can believe.

[Wild Magic Effect 1d100=[19,34,16,39,18,70,76,85,6,93]]

A series of waves pass through her and she's powerless to stop it.

1. Grease is cast centered on Yulya. [SAVE DEX vs DC15 1d20+1=10]
2. Maximize the affect of the next healing spell you cast within the next minute.
3. Yulya gains 5 THP per turn for a minute.
4. Yulya gains 2d10 THP
5. Yulya grows a long beard of feathers, they tickle her nose and she sneezes causing the feathers to explode from her face in all directions.
6. [1d8=6] Beatrice is poisoned and pops back to the negative plane.
7. Yulya begins to glow brighter then the sun for the next minute casting a bright light within 30ft, normal light within 60ft and dim light within 90ft, anyone who glances her way is blinded for 1 turn.
8. Yulya casts Mirror Image. Three illusory duplicates of yourself appear in your space. Until the spell ends, the duplicates move with you and mimic your actions, shifting position so it’s impossible to track which image is real. You can use your action to dismiss the illusory duplicates.
9. Yulya summons a Modron [1d3=3] It is friendly and decides to join your cause.
10. Yulya grows out of control to a hill giant size for 1 minute.

Yulya falls prone due to the grease effect, Yulya gains 16 temporary HP, Beatrice is poisoned and pops back to the negative plane, Yulya begins to glow brighter then the sun with golden light for the next minute casting a bright light within 30ft, normal light within 60ft and dim light within 90ft, the snake has become blinded for 1 turn, a Modron appears beside Yulya. Finally she stretches out her clothes as she grows a size larger, to rival Brutus in bulk.

The modron:

Finally the spell she was looking for surges through the goblin staff, fed by the focus and blasts toward the snake.

[HIT(A vs Blind) vs AC12 1d20+5+3golbin staff=(CM,13)]

All signs pointed to it missing again! But because the snake was blinded, he zigged when he should have zagged and got tagged.

[DMG 3d10+1d10(2nd)+1d10(3rd)+1d10x.75+3=1+8+5+1+4+2*.75=23]

The snake hisses in pain but it remains awake, just barely. It's up to the Modron now, the last hope for taking that snake down.

[LUCK 1d4=3]

The Modron knew better than to look into the blinding light of his larger than normal master and seeing her target he gave his all. His intent: to tackle the snake or somehow hold it in place. Seeing the large cat tied to the wall, he uses his action to move the knot to Alice's leg.

[Last round]

As the snake tries to pull his prey underwater, it's caught up by the rope.

[STR vs DC17 1d20+4=9][Choice 1d2=1]

The snake is caught, and refuses to let go of his prey, biting and constricting her.

[HIT 1d20+6=17,8][DMG 2d6+4+1d10 poison=13+8/2 resist=17]

The snake manages to bite Alice, and even with Cat's help of temporary HP, she was unable remain conscious.

[Alice is unconscious and stable with -9HP]

The snake was in trouble now though, with the octopus down, the cats all attack.

[Attack/Damage rolls]

The snake didn't have enough left in him to withstand the barrage, all cats except Ashley Panther hit successfully and their combined damage at a minimum was more than the snake had left. Quickly afterwards they killed both the snake and tore the octopus apart, eating their fill of the fishy delicacy.

In the intervening few minutes, Yulya shrunk back into her now slightly stretched clothes, stopped glowing, and was given a total of 61 temporary hit points that all evaporated at the end of the first minute and is left normal but sitting in a grease slick. The Modron popped back to the mechanical plane, and Ashley Panther led her pack out of the water and licked each other dry.

Alice's body was left like an oil slick on the water.

[Interactions Required, Yulya may cast healing on someone for maximum effect if she chooses.]

Cat watches the events with growing disbelief

N-Nya? What in Catgods name is going on Nya?
Standing in front of Yulya, Cat is focused on the enemy and spared by the bright light. But she is too late, the snake is defeated by the cats first.

The snake didn't have enough left in him to withstand the barrage, all cats except Ashley Panther hit successfully and their combined damage at a minimum was more than the snake had left. Quickly afterwards they killed both the snake and tore the octopus apart, eating their fill of the fishy delicacy.

Cat rushes in and tries to salvage octopus meat of good quality before it is eaten
Shoo Nya! You can eat the leftovers Nya I gotta collect parts our humans can eat Nya!

Cat proceeds to butcher octopus and snake after fishing Alice out of the water.

[5000XP is awarded, 1333XP For Yulya, Cat and Ashley, 1001XP for Alice.]

Cat can salvage 50lbs of octopus meat, the smell is fresh, but the texture is rubbery and tough. There is 25lbs of usable snake meat, it is tender and more palatable. There is also a pair of venom sacks, the venom can be boiled down to create poison, about 20 doses if a proper container is available.

Yulya is overwhelmed by magic she cant control and casts weird spells in all directions
3 mirror images of Yulya slipped on grease with a feathery beard and grown to absurd size simultaneously cast INFLICT WOUNDS on the snake and miraculously hit it while a weird robot thing that came out of nowhere ropes up Alice.

In the intervening few minutes, Yulya shrunk back into her now slightly stretched clothes, stopped glowing, and was given a total of 61 temporary hit points that all evaporated at the end of the first minute and is left normal but sitting in a grease slick.
What happened? Oh god what is this stuff? My Cleric Vestments! Ashley is this your magic? It looks and feels horrible! Alice can you clean this?
Yulyas clothes are stretched and soiled with brown grease in a very unfortunate-looking way.

Alice's body was left like an oil slick on the water.

Slowly realizing what happened Yulya crawls over to the water and casts Healing Hands on Alices remains seeing that all her belongings have either spread on or sunken into the water.
Cat give her temporary HP! We need to get her back into shape! And I think we need a fire to dry everything!

After unsuccessfully trying to clean off the grease with water and shivering in disgust Yulya desperately waits for Alice to wake up. She will additionally use Channel Divinity - Divine Spark to restore 1d8+wis hp if Healing Hands was not enough.

Cat's Rage has ended, she can't give temporary hitpoints, and they'll have expired anyway. So as Cat begins carving the meat, Yulya uses healing hands on Alice with her temporary boost imbued by Ashley's magic. With a warming glow from Yulya's magic, Alice is restored 8 HP but still unconsious, so Yulya uses Divine spark and restores an additional:

[1d8+5=9]

Alice wakes.

Ashley Panther and the Cats continue to rest.

[Time: Tuesday, Spring 26, 4:20, 9C Calm]

Two hours pass before Cat's work is done, Yulya manages a fire. The ink has settled from the water and the little catfish have all moved to the remnants of the carcasses, scrubbing it as bottom feeders do.

[Please let me know what else you want to do before exploring more.]

Yulya uses healing hands on Alice with her temporary boost imbued by Ashley's magic. With a warming glow from Yulya's magic, Alice is restored 8 HP but still unconsious, so Yulya uses Divine spark[/i]
Alice wakes.
The oily yellowish goo on the water sprouts antler-like appendages and long, branching, filamentous structures that dig into the dead monsters. Slowly, Alice morphs back into an otter-like thing that jumps out of the cold water

She re-shapes into her human form. All her belongings and clothes are still in the water, as are the contents of the Lolibank.
Alice looks around in confusion but recognizes Cat working on butchering the monsters and Yulya in distress.

What happened? I assume we won? Nice! And we got a lot of food! I had a strange dream I was roped up by a walking washing machine though...
Oh wait, you don't know what a washing machine is. Whatever.

Alice musters the squirming Yulya covered in brown grease.
You alright? What the hell happened to you? Did you...

Still naked, Alice moves over and starts cleaning off the grease with Phagocytosis, not unhappy to also leech off Yuyla's body warmth.
Grease? Where did that come from? Did the monsters produce this? Tastes fresh, much better than the one from the cart...
And your clothes! Yulya, what happened over there while I was out?

After fishing out her clothes and pack, Alice moves over to the fire to dry her belongings and listening to a rudimentary cleaned Yulya while continuing her job. Alice gets 3ft of string from her pack so Yulya at least doesn't lose her clothes.

My apologies, if I was in better shape I could fix this in an instant...
Well, damn I was reckless. I hadn't assumed there were 2 huge monsters in such a pond. Where did they even come from? We must be wayy more careful in the future. That could have ended badly. But I still wanna investigate where that tunnel is going. Do we have enough rope to secure me? And we gotta retrieve the treasure. Ours and the one from that skeleton! I'll get to work after I've warmed up.

After careful investigation with Yulya, Alice retrieves the content of her lolibank and all other belongings that had sunk in the pond. She sprouts a thin 10ft long pseudopod and wriggles it around underwater as bait to check for more monsters.
If the coast is clear, Alice will re-morph into otter-shape and retrieve the skeleton's belongings with her pseudopod ( it can carry 10lbs)

After carefully investigating the pond, Alice will warm up again at the fire before moving on to check out the tunnel, armed with her spear, a glowing stone and preferably fastened to a rope.

Nothing further disturbs the serenity of the water and its benign inhabitants. The skeleton with the wand and rings remains are much deeper and further back then Alice can reach however. Little catfish swim around the pseudopod as she disturbs the water but they're far more interested in the fresh meat, a delicacy most have likely never seen but eat it heartily.

Yulya tries her best to explain what had happened. But she does not really have much idea herself.
Thanks for getting this grease off me! It appears I overused the focus - filled with Ashleys magic! The strange mechanical device with arms and legs was there and I believe it helped us greatly! We must ask Ashley once she transforms back!

Yulya dries her clean but damp clothes by the fire and then tries to fasten them with Alices string. She refills her focus and rests until Alice is ready to further explore the pond.
