Having re-shaped into human form, Alice dries herself, warms up and dons her Vest of Protection, clothes and equipment

Great work Alice! Uh, can you - remove the rings and the wand? And please bury the bones in a respectful way!
Alice prys rings and staff from the skeletonized hand and respectfully tosses it back into the water.
What are all those rings about? Maybe the owl guy can tell us. So the staff gives you another ranged attack? That should greatly increase our firepower!

That was again great work! We should leave opening that chest to Ashley!
Alice nods.
Yes, I've had my share of chest traps already. And I don't wanna break her stuff. I hope there's more valuables inside than in the last one.

Yulya gladly takes the octopus snack from Cat and finds a little more time to rest while Alice warms up.
Let us continue! There appears only one way westwards!
Yulya carefully leads her party to the west passage, staying behind and investigating the area for traps
Alice rests until her Ki points are regenerated.
Alright, let's go! What about the cats? Will they follow us or sleep here?

Alice advances in front next to Cat, her bow readied with a honed arrow. If the immediate coast in clear, Alice will inspect the barrels.

[Time: Tuesday, Spring 26, 6:00, 9C Calm]

The ring of quick casting has reset. Everyone's temporary hit points bestowed by Yulya have refreshed. Ashley has returned to human form and is sleeping. You realize it's been since late yesterday morning that you've all slept. Nixie and the other cats have all despawned.

Cat also realizes that her natural claws are not capable of being honed. Each claw instead sheds a hollow casing of itself when enough force is exerted, yet even then they're not considered "honed." So she settles for honing her sword.

Cat will need another hour to recuperate from her injuries, Alice will need another three or be healed in some way. Yulya and Ashley are fully refreshed.

You consider if you should rest more and sleep now or after the rest of this level has been explored, you feel tired but are in no danger of becoming exhausted any time soon. Ashley will likely sleep for another 4 hours unless awakened.

[Interactions are required before you venture fourth.]

Noticing that everyone is tired and Alice and Cat still need to rest and Ashleys already sleeping Yulya decides it is time to sleep.
Who knows what still awaits us there? We will depart after a long rest and a meal. There is no rush and our food sources keep increasing!

Yulya sets up the tent near where Ashley is sleeping and takes the first watch.

Alice has no complaints. She helps set up the tent, hops inside and after all the aquatic ruckus tosses the 2nd candy the Mechatherial goddess gave to her in her mouth and goes to sleep under her pile of clothes as usual.
I'll take the shift after Cat! Good Night! Or Day? I've completely lost track of time...

While not especially tired, Cat also goes to rest and hones her sword. She takes the 3rd watch after Alice and prepares breakfast after everyone has woken up.

[Time: Tuesday, Spring 26, 10:00, 9C Calm]

After 4 hours, Ashley awoke to find Yulya on guard and everyone sleeping. She accepted the duty and Yulya went to sleep. Yulya explained the guarding rotation but she didn't wake Ashley for her turn and now that she was already awake, she decided to let everyone sleep.

[Time: Tuesday, Spring 26, 11:26, 9C Calm]

Ashley'd only been guarding for an hour and a half when she heard a noise.

With not an intact ear among them but surging with leftover dark energies, the three ghouls reanimate to Ashley's utter disbelief.

"Dangit! How careless! We're desecrating every body from now on! Everyone up, we're under attack again."

Ashley summons Nixie but holds her back.

[INITIATIVE 1d20+4,+4,+4 vs 1d20+1,+1,+0,+3= Z(16,5,15) Y7,C18,AS18,AL22]

[Round 1]

Alice and Cat jump to ready immediately upon hearing Ashley, Yulya needs more coaxing to wake up and thus misses out on initiative.

[You all can make your moves, but Yulya's move will come after two of the zombies, Nixie will make her move once she's sure there won't be any loud bangs or splash damage involved. Everyone is refreshed but Cat and Alice need 3 more hours sleep and Yulya needs 7.]

Yulya sleepily stumbles out of the tent and sees the ghouls
Oh nonono how could this happen? We should have disposed of the bodies!

She immediately casts BLESS on Alice Ashley and Cat. and lets them attack.
Go for the one west of us first!

Then tries out her new staff. She expends 2 points of the staff and casts Magic Missile lv2 all on one target. If the west ghoul that Alice and Cat attacked is still up she will target him. if not either ghoul 1 or 2 whoever she sees first. If she has to advance to get a line of sight she will as far as necessary but then fall back to the tent.  Finally Yulya uses her Ring of Quick Casting to hit another ghoul with Toll the Dead boosted to LV2 with the focus

Alice runs after Cat and also jumps down. While Cat flanks, and still in free fall, she's attacking the ghoul with her spear 2-handed followed by Flurry of Blows for 1 Ki point + Hand of Harm for a 2nd Ki point.

[Round 1 Continues]

Cat attempts a Mario then attacks with her claws with Rage.

[4 THP added]

[DEX vs DC15 1d20+4z,+0c,+3a =11z,3c][DMG 1d6+1d6/2=5 divided evenly, Ghoul takes 2 damage, Cat takes 2 damage bludgeoning but resists half due to rage for 1 damage both end up prone]

[HIT from prone, prone vs DC16 1d20+2+5=24,CR][DMG 1d6+5+2+(1d6+5+2)x2=13+16=29]

Cat's attack strikes true causing a wound on the zombie's abdomen and exhaustion 1 due to the critical hit. The zombie will have a harder time getting out of a grapple as a result.

Alice follows with a series of attacks.

Alice runs after Cat and also jumps down. While Cat flanks, and still in free fall, she's attacking the ghoul with her spear 2-handed followed by Flurry of Blows for 1 Ki point + Hand of Harm for a 2nd Ki point.

[Note: Beginning at 4th level, you can use your reaction when you fall to reduce any falling damage you take by an amount equal to five times your monk level.]

[DEX vs DC15 1d20+3a = 13a][DMG 1d6+1d6/2=8 divided evenly, Alice lands [1d2=1] on Cat 1d6+1d6/2=8 Alice resisted, Cat takes 2 damage from Alice after her resistance, she is also prone.]

[HIT from prone, prone vs DC16 1d20+2+3=7,14,24][DMG 1d6+3+1d6=8][There is no flanking or advantage if you are also prone and furthermore on top of Cat.]

Nixie pounces in an attempt to grapple the Zombie Ghoul3.

[HIT CLAW vs AC16 1d20+5=(14,17), GRAPPLE(D) vs DC13 1d20+1-2=(16,2), HIT BITE vs AC16 1d20+5=(15,15) CON vs DC15 1d20+3=CM,18][DMG 1d6+3+2+1d6+3=12]

Nixie grapples the ghoul, slashes and bites him for a total of 12 damage.

Zombie 1 approaches the dogpile and casts Ray of Enfeeblement on Cat.

[CON vs DC17 1d20+3=13]

Cat feel a weight upon her shoulders, causing her to feel weaker in terms of the damage she can affect on her targets until the spell ends.

[Cat will automatically re-roll her constitution savig throw at the start of her turn for the next 10 turns to end the spell. Her damage is halved, this does not affect her HIT.]

Zombie 3 cannot cast due to grappling, so he attempts to get out of the grapple.

[GRAPPLE(D) vs DC13 1d20+1-2=(5,11)]

He fails to get Nixie off him so he attacks Nixie with two clawed, unarmed strikes.

[HIT[D] vs AC12 1d20+9,+5=(CM,11),(18,11)]

Zombie 3's attacks could not penetrate Nixie's hide.

Cat's Sentinal feat is triggered, allowing her to attack Zombie 3 with her sword.

[HIT vs DC16 1d20+2+5+1=CR][(2d6+5+1+2Rage+1Honed)x2=30]

The blow causes the ghoul zombie much distress.

Yulya casts Bless, uses two charges of her wand of magic missile, then uses her ring of quick casting to cast Toll of the Dead boosted to lvl2 and using her refilled focus for a total illegal level of 3&3/4.

[Luck 1d20=17, Magnitude 1d20=13][WIS vs DC15 1d20+5=(14,13,23,11,20)][DMG 3d12=18 necrotic][Why she refuses to use the Goblin staff I'll never know.]

A ghostly bell appears above the Zombie, ringing a nearly deafening tone. The zombie's flesh rots as he feels the effect of the spell.

The focus triggers just as expected and she gets away with a well focused necrotic blast on the zombie; yet, after all that the zombie contiues to unlive, if just barely!

Zombie 2 approaches the source of the bell. Dhambling for an extra 5ft, he's taking the stairs. He casts a boosted version of Daze on Yulya!

[WILL vs DC19 1d20+9=CM]

Yulya critically fails her save vs boosted Daze and takes [2d6=9] mental damage and is stunned for one turn and may not act next turn.

[WIS(A) vs DC10 1d20+5=(17,18)]

Yulya, even stunned, did not lose her concentration on Bless.

[Make your moves except Yulya, she is stunned for one turn, interaction required]

Unable to move Yulya tries to glance over at Ashley as the zombie ghoul slowly approaches...

To everyone's surprise, the zombie still lives, then Yulya's magic missiles fire...

[The missiles know what to do, they have independent guided intelligence, and find targets loosely based on intent, a missile will not hit a target that is already down unless specifically directed to.][DMG (1d4+1)x6=4+2+4+2+5+2]

Zombie 3 is downed by the first missile and the rest fly unerringly to the next closest zombie. Zombie 2 is hit with 5 darts for 15 force damage.

[Alice and Cat actions required.]

Trying to recreate Cat's stunt o stomping the enemy from above, Alice ungracefully lands on Cat. Even 3 against one, the ghoul stands strong and is only taken out by Yulya's magic missile.
Damn, what are those guys made of?

Alice wastes no time, gets up and moves 5ft N of ghoul #1. She attempts a grapple-shove combo using her action and bonus action.

Even though things didn't turn out as planned there's no going back!
Cat also gets up and follows Alice, giving her HP. Then she again attacks the ghoul using her claws with Nick.

Nyaa what's that strange spell Nya? Are they all spellcasters Nya?
