Yulya remains nervous her comrades are rushing ahead so fast. After Alice tosses the light stone into the tunnel Yulya once more casts guidance on herself and peeks into the north and south tunnel the creature dug.
Ashley do you spot anything in this dug out tunnel?

If nothing is found Yulya moves 5ft west of Cat staying behind her.

Cat moves East and sees as far as she can North. Alice throws her pebble South and the passage continues East beyond the bend.

Ashley follows Cat.

Yulya casts Guidance on herself and inspects the area for herself but there's nothing more to gain from further inspection.

"I could be wrong but I bet whatever dug this is long dead and gone, or at least best left forgotten, but I guess we'll have to be thorough or we didn't 'clear the mine'." she sighs, she seems bitter for some reason but not to Yulya.

[Yeah I wonder why?]

So - an undead burrowing dragon? Is that what a 'gopher' is?
I had assumed the dug tunnel terminates here but it goes on further...

Alice takes out her 10ft pole, extends a 10ft pseudopod and prods the tunnel floor 20ft SE to see if anything in the dug tunnel reacts. Then she stays slightly behind the others as rear guard wherever they move next.

Yulyas anxiousness only increases.
This graveyard silence can only foreshadow something terrible! I am sure there is some monster here somewhere!

If Alices prodding yields nothing Yulya carefully continues moving 5ft NE and peeks across the corner to search the area for traps and enemies. Once more she casts GUIDANCE on herself for that.

Only advance carefully Cat!

If the others detect no threats, Cat inspects the Southern end of the tunnel and the mine cart. Then she moves 15ft NE and peeks across the corner into the tunnel.

The ground is a bit dusty, but otherwise solid stone.

Yulya carefully continues moving 5ft NE and peeks across the corner to search the area for traps and enemies. Once more she casts GUIDANCE on herself for that.

Yulya is almost sure that nothing is out of the ordinary.

Ashley zones out, bored out of her mind.

Cat inspects the Southern end of the tunnel and the mine cart. Then she moves 15ft NE and peeks across the corner into the tunnel.

The mine cart is nearly pristine, as if it was made and placed but never used, but sat for 200 years, only a very fine layer of undisturbed dust is seen.

To the East is shoring that looks damage by the sands of time, it has fallen but the rubble had been cleaned up long ago. You can see past it but the path is sketchy to traverse and partially blocked by crossing shoring obviously placed to stabilize the walls. Though the tunnel hasn't collapsed in hundreds of years, this would be a great place to test the integrity of the rock, as in, proceed through that at your own peril.

To the north you find a main tunnel, These tracks have very little dust on them as if they were used recently, within a year or two.

The deadly quiet haunts you.

"Blah blah blah..." Ashley addresses Mr. B as if he's been talking too much and she's tired of his incessant chatter then chuckles to herself. He stares back blankly at her, likely asleep with his eyes open.

The sound of a loose stone falling catches your attention, but it's hard to tell direction as the sound echoes through the tunnels.
