Yulya remains nervous her comrades are rushing ahead so fast. After Alice tosses the light stone into the tunnel Yulya once more casts guidance on herself and peeks into the north and south tunnel the creature dug.
Ashley do you spot anything in this dug out tunnel?

If nothing is found Yulya moves 5ft west of Cat staying behind her.

So - an undead burrowing dragon? Is that what a 'gopher' is?
I had assumed the dug tunnel terminates here but it goes on further...

Alice takes out her 10ft pole, extends a 10ft pseudopod and prods the tunnel floor 20ft SE to see if anything in the dug tunnel reacts. Then she stays slightly behind the others as rear guard wherever they move next.

Cat looks at the East tunnel with unease
Nyaa I don't like that look at the shoring and the floor Nya! We should go North or turn back Nya!

Yulya is not unhappy too shift the burden of decisionmaking to Alice.

The sound of a loose stone falling catches your attention, but it's hard to tell direction as the sound echoes through the tunnels.

Where did that sound come from? Did you hear that Ashley?
Yulya retreats 15ft SW tl Ashley and hands Alice the Ring of Dark Shadows as well as GUIDANCE with a tap. She tries to make as little noise as possible and holds this position nervously looking around as always.

I did not want to go as far as cutting your share and create more drama...

Alice is disappointed because of the dead end, but relieved the cat finally does some useful work

What did the giant snake and octopus live from? Tiny blind fish? I think they're monsters who manifest out of mana in this cursed place. Same probably goes for whatever dug this tunnels. Unless it can survive on ore or something? No ordinary living thing can, not even me...
