Funny enough, exactly such hypothesis was proposed recently.
https://www.newscientist.com/article/2482841-the-radical-idea-that-space-time-remembers-could-upend-cosmology/

Regarding Mars, I'm torn on this but I'd put the probability that there was ever any life there at significantly below 50%. So far all the hyped biosignatures turned out to have arisen from inorganic chemistry. But it's not impossible there were some stromatolithes or biofilms.

For more complex alien life, things look much worse. Statistically it should definitely be somewhere out there in this huge universe, but the chance we'd ever discover such is very very close to zero.

This also means that colonizing space is, unfortunately for Elon, off the table. The next earth-like planet is going to be thousands of ly away.

Mars is garbage, better to inhabit the Gobi high desert or even Antarctica.

Humans are doomed to end eventually, there will be no galactic federation and do you think intelligent life would want us cockroaches?

This.
Though I'd like to watch astronauts fly to mars - and die there. It would teach human hubris a lesson. And what for? What do you do there? There's no business for humans on other celestial bodies. Not even on the moon. We've got robots for that.

Alice humor.
I do think there was once microbial life on mars. I just wonder how long it will take to return samples to earth for proper analysis.

I'm not a Musk apologist, but he's commonly late, this is no surprise.

It's all far too expensive and yields nothing. The only inecentive is being faster than the Chinese.
Apollo program cost something like 250-300 billion in today's worth. This year, NASA has a total annual budget of 25 billion.

To be frank, I'm not overly fond of dogs. I like cats and small woodland creatures. Dogs are mostly loud and aggressive. And the larger ones can easily kill you.
As host is an idiot and has these superpowers where he randomly ends up in places where he shouldn't be, we've repeatedly found ourselves inside peoples properties while hiking, especially abroad. Often getting confronted by dogs that were not happy. Or simply met dogs that roamed freely. Especially in Greece but also Italy people have some remote holiday home in the mountains where there's nobody but guard dogs to kill burglars. Not behind any fence mind you. Lovely when you peacefully come along an official hiking path and run into two doberman dogs that think the path also belongs to their territory.

So far we were lucky, the only one that ever bit host in the leg was some tiny - whatever breed that was. But things can quickly turn ugly. In Germany we always carry a high-power pepper spray launcher against aggressive wild animals. And by aggressive wild animals I of course mean
NIGGERS

In other countries that's often illegal and you can't take it on a plane. So learn some life-saving techniques from Alice, in case you're ever attacked by a dog or have to rescue some kid from getting maimed.:

Bruh, dogs gunna FAFO if they step up to me. I used to get into pissing contests with my coyote/collie, even pitbulls aren't that aggressive by comparison.

I can't expect Yakumo to understand but you gotta be the alpha. Ofc if there are 3 or more, they have a fighting chance but you maim or injure one and they scatter.

You can't show fear or even lose ground, take it to them, knee to the nose, thumbs to the eyes.

Imagine living in a place with aggressive stray dogs. 3rd world tier.
There are very few street dogs here but they are really nice and people look after them.

I'm not saying this sheltered suburbanite has any street cred, but I did live in the ghetto for 9 months and the most dangerous animals aren't the abused pitbulls. Just like dogs, don't be easy prey, don't back down. You die like a dog with your tail between your legs or you die like a man fighting for your life. That's instinct more than anything, but either way if you don't fight against the odds, you're going to die.

Coming from a civilized country, no, we don't have experience in fighting dangerous animals.

Again, there are about 20k deaths and 2.5 millions other casualties in the US every year from crime and criminal acts. This is a war zone already, we are the abused pitbulls of the world and we'd love to focus that anger and violence on any nation standing in our way.

right now americans are mostly focusing their anger on their own countrymen and thats not good. you need a common enemy to reunite.
i hope ill never have to choke out a pitbull with my bare hands but that was useful advice
