Cat didn't expect the slime to move so fast. Damn, she is cornered now. We thought about retreating but assumed it would be super slow. Big mistake. So was not entering Rage. And apparently normal arrows do not work. We have the blunt ones but apart from that I see no way to attack it. Alice is not fast enough to hit and run and Yulya will be out soon.

I think all she do now is enter Rage, disengage East and hope the slime does not go after her. Other ideas?

I have spoken with {Ashley} and based only on what it has done so far, you can assume that it is vulnerable to magic and blunt attacks, it is immune to piercing, it's an acid type, which means it might not be immune to poison. It also has three actions per round so though it's slow, it can combine moves. It's also a bullet sponge and it's immune to extra damage from critical hits.

Cat can punch with claws retracted or pick up rocks rocks to attack directly but damage will be limited to improvised weapons. However, nick and dual wield will still be applicable, so you, {Ashley} and Alice can still punch it to death, but ending a turn within 30 ft of it may lead to multiple attacks on you and it hits hard and may grab you, contact will cause acid damage as it digests you.

I recommend rage, give your temporary hitpoints to someone, {Ashley} won't put herself in a position to be hit again. Cat will be susceptible to the acid damage but will take half damage from its pseudopod attack.

What's that about disengaging?
Cat has 2 attacks so she can punch it 4 times!

I won't because I have what - 2 HP? If it even slaps me I'm dead and probably absorbed. Good luck resurrecting me from within a poisonous acid slime. Nope, I'll shoot it with a blunt arrow. That was a good idea though.

Cat can't give her rage-initial HP boost to others or are we changing the rules again? I though she gains HP when entering Rage and next turn can give them to somebody?

So what's my movement speed? I got that injury and exhaustion. That's kind of important. Also there's a mace over there, might be more useful than punching.

oof that again didnt go as planned. so much for Cats familiarity with oozes.
shame on us but we lost track of how many mp Yulya has left if any. all that boosting and focus use is confusing.

Yulya has to retreat soon and should put all mp into boosting tol the dead to lv1. Cat should attack this round and try to get out. use that mace if you can reach it.
i see one emergency scenario but im not sure it would kill the ooze and could cause a lot of other problems. and no Alice im not talking about firebombs lol. Alice and Ashley should shay the hell away from that thing.

Alice is 10ft slower, Yulya is 20ft slower.

Cat's hp granting has not changed

I'll look again for the mace but there is clearly a large hammer.

You will have to be 35 ft from it to prevent it potentially hitting you.

It would take you all your movement to get that mace, why not just borrow Yulya's mace if you for some reason don't want the hammer?

i thought that thing dissolves all weapons?
Cat cant get past the ooze and Alice doesnt need the mace.

still waiting for Yulyas mp confirmation before we post. sorry we really need to keep better track of this.

>all weapons

We can all learn together, "the wood sizzled" is all that was said.

Ashley has 1MP left and a 1MP focus.

Based on my records, which may not be accurate, Yulya has no 2nd level slots an empty focus, and 3 MP left. If you believe it's higher than I'll use your number.

Ok Ok!
Yes Cat is with you, she'd much more like to attack than run away. Let alone if she has 2 attacks! She doesn't wanna break Yulya's mace but she can't reach it this round without going through the ooze. Which I think is not the best idea. She will get it once she is out.
Cat will attack with her fists this turn.

{Ashley} is concerned that you may get reflecting damage from acid if you don't protect your fists like she did with rocks.

I'd like to add, you can use rocks and still be considered "light" weapons but the damage is only improvised 1d4, a mace may not be better if it doesn't allow more attacks as it's not considered light.

Throwing a rock will take the whole action.

So is there a difference in attacking bare-handed (claws retracted) and using rocks? Cat will go for the higher dmg option and only use rocks if that does not give her a penalty.
