{Ashley} I must critique your action, Yulya. I am incapable of withstanding a hit by this creature even at full health and it was luck alone that saved me, so healing me was inconsequential. Your magic would have been better served to deal damage to the creature.

I appreciate innovation so I'll allow it, but you will use an action to construct it and another to use it. In other words, regardless of your monkness, it will take one turn to ready this contraption. I'll even allow it to be a splash attack, basically affecting a 5ft square tile of your choice so you can't miss.

Given that, then keep in mind that 10x 1d2 still isn't great damage (10-20) and doing a flurry of blows and other monk shenanigans may be higher output.
Got it! Yes, that's what I assumed. But I also assumed if I get into the right distance I can escape the ooze after poisoning it. If I use Flurry of Blows + Hand of Harm, I expend all my DP and lose deflect ability. I can't even get away from it with disengage as I'm not fast enough to escape it and have 2hp. So I'd like to keep a distance and shoot it with blunt arrows after that. Melee would be a last resort. I still have a trump card to get rid of this thing once and for all but that requires time.
Also I gotta make sure it doesn't go after Yulya. She's even slower than me. Only Cat can outrun the ooze with feline agility.

>Ashley yada yada
Can't you just for once be thankful?
You didn't say thank you! Caring for your comrades is more important than 'winning'. Your mecha Goddess brought herself into that situation by her near-useless suicide attack. If she continues to assault enemies with bare fists with your body, soon there will be nothing left to resurrect you into. Also you won't get any money for backseat moderating from heaven. Mechatherial Goddesses don't need money. If you want your share of treasure, work on getting back into your body!

Haha, I do feel sorry for Yulya. She tries so hard but her help is not wanted.

[Cat, the ooze is pinned in place and will not move this turn, if you disengage you potentially get hit once but if you stay in place you will be subject to multiple attacks. Please let me know if you want to back off.]
Oh neat!
We forgot Sentinel reduces speed to zero. Of course Cat will also back off then.

testing Yulyas angelic patience - the game...

Alice is 10ft slower, Yulya is 20ft slower.

Yulya has an action left this turn. Also, as discussed, you can only move directly 15ft North so I moved you 15ft North and 5ft NE.][/color]
ah sorry i misread that i thought her movement was 20ft. but if its halved shes not 20ft slower either but 15ft.

Demigoddesses seem quite rogue and anti-establishment. Don't take it personally.

Apparently I also forgot. Then move 10 feet or dash 20. It's not halved, it's-20ft, -5ft x 4 so her normal movement is now 10 but I'll allow this turn because I forgot.

makes sense since shes half asleep now. gotta stay clear of that ooze. 'dashing' 20ft in that state must liik ridiculous. she needs to use her attacks anyway. lets see how the Alice plan works out.

I believe Alice still needs to formally go

Huh?
I thought this was just Cat and Yulya amending their moves?
I was busy making my poison lance and approaching. I can only stab the ooze next turn.

[We are still in Round 2 awaiting action from Yulya and a decision from Cat.]

Smh, it seems the Bear brain has been sub-par lately. We will make do.

Should Cat repeat the same exact attack?
Shooting the ooze with a blunt arrow is a bit lacking and she still wants to keep it from attacking others. Too bad she left the crossbow, that probably would have been helpful with the jagged bolts.

It did have "bleed damage", so that's not specifically slashing or piercing. I'd have to say it would probably have been normal damage.

I'd stay clear and use a blunt arrow this turn. We can go all out the turn after, I can use Flurry of Blows+Hand of Harm and Cat can do another paw attack. But getting hit 2 more turns isn't good even for Cat.

So if I stab the ooze with my poison lance now, am I out of its attack range when I back off? I can't normally use disengage as a bonus action unless I make an attack with a monk weapon or an unarmed strike. The improvised lance is neither.

Only Alice knows what Alice can do. Alice is the expert on Alice.

There, you've trained me. Do your best.

If you move into attack range, 5ft, then you will need to disengage in some way, if you don't "disengage" then you'll likely be hit. The ooze has a great hit chance and heavy damage.
