MP/HP now simply regenerates 1/8th total rounded up per hour of rest, including things like cooking. Please keep track of your own status.

Look for [Time: ...]

I'll allow Alice to ask because I know how bad her system brain is at math.

This serves two purposes, 1 so you actually read what I write, 2 so you can make appropriate choices. I really shouldn't have been doing this for you. But you're level 4 now, we've been doing this for almost two years, it's time to let the fledglings fly.

Hmm, I'm not trying to be difficult or make us appear to be lazy (we are) but I had no idea about this regeneration rate or that cooking now counts as rest. So what doesn't? Does honing your weapons also count at rest time? What bout setting up  trap?

The whole rest issue is a bottomless pit that will lead to a heap of unforeseeable consequences like our HP record disagreeing with yours, you letting a character go down while she's still having HP according to our own records, having to argue over this and recalculate the resting time over the whole in-game day and general confusion. All of which needlessly creates work, frustration and slows down the game even further.

It has serious fuck-up potential and I really don't want to do this. I'd therefore strongly prefer that our dear DM keeps track of everything and decides and tells us how much we have rested and regenerated. You don't have to do all the math, a reasonable rough assessment is fine, nobody will challenge you for that. I realize in the real game every player has to keep track of his stats but that doesn't work here because you advance the game, make all rolls and it takes at least a day for us to respond. We can't discuss things in real time and you can't look at our stats either. The whole game will be a total mess unless you roll all the dice and hold all the cards. We can still say we wanna rest until we have regenerated at least X HP but beyond that it should be you who gives us definite stats at the end of a rest. I don't see any benefit in all of us doing that separately.

I have simplified rest as anything you can do that doesn't require movement from one place to another or guarding or physical labor like setting a trap. Honing weapons also is not rest or I would just make it automatic. But cooking is eh, not really like a chore to a cook, more like fun.

I have to start offloading some things I would do. If our HP disagrees, then my record will supersede. If you're concerned, report your HP/MP somewhere in your post and if it's close, I'll accept it. Like your inventory. Don't be afraid of elementary arithmetic, it can't hurt you.

Frustration and slowing won't occur because you know how to add and subtract and you have reading comprehension and if there's a discrepancy then I'll simply rule in my favor and no argument is needed. See?

>potential

See above. You may post your HP somewhere in your post if you're concerned.

>don't see any benefit

The benefit is we get to share in the fun! Yeah!

I'll give you a great hint to start you off. You were full health before the octopus because that's what I wrote there and it was obvious.

You can also say things like, "we do x and rest until we're healed" etc.

Huh, another glitch in the matrix. I swear you suggested Cat should hone her claws. Whatever, we should sleep now. No need to rush on while we are at a relatively safe location.

Is this part of the Alice Punishment Plan? If so it's very effective.

we will manage somehow. probably by not giving a fuck.
Yulya has decided that they should sleep now. no use to go anywhere while Ashleys sleeping and Alice and at also need rest. so good night everyone!

I knew I should have eaten them. If only I was able to make Trees, they' take care if the problem.

So if we take this seriously, waking me up would cost me an action to re-shape. It's the price of my Greatness. Also I'm not wearing anything, not the Vest either.  But you decide.

You were already awakened

The LOS is as seen in the map. One furthest south has full cover at the moment because of the elevation distance

The wand of magic missiles has its own MP, so you do not have to use your MP, nor will boosting it with your MP do anything unless you have the mana battery feat.

The wand is a use item, so you can cast and use it on the same turn without using the ring of quick casting. Review the description again for more information.
