I severely question whether any of our interactions are really required when Ashley and Joy just run the game by themselves.

You're right, it would solve a lot of my issues if it was just in-system.

But it would be boring without us! Just as we need Ashley to stir things up.

yes its lovely. what would we do without our loose cannon. i still think its idiotic to take the middle tunnel where we can get ambushed from left and right. dont come whining to Yulya about healng bc you wont get any.

It was the only direction anyone (Cat) mentioned.

doesnt matter anymore. we moved there so lets go there.

Aside from Miss Loose Cannon, I think this was a communication error. Yeah it would have made more sense to go either up North on the left tunnel or go East.

Imagine we could have 2 cats with lamps and a wasp with Light in the air. 3 scouts / distractions. Instead Cat and Ashley will run into another ambush. I guess this is how the game is, huh? I assume Ashley really wants to turn into a cyborg after all.

Is this an official Alice prediction or complaint? I have to know to determine which dice to roll to determine the direction and multiplier of your misfortune.

It's always the opposite of what I say, right?
I have no doubt there's an ambush ahead we're waltzing into!

Not always the opposite, but appropriately disappointing.

Excluding Neverwinter, I had to spend the entire campaign either in the cold or underground. I hate both. I get no ears, no ship, no trees, no brick. No cats to pet or Ashley Panther to ride on piggyback either. Don't I already suffer enough?

Also how is Ashley not being evil? I'm not even complaining anymore. It's a simple question.
>betrays, manipulates and lies to her 'beloved' summons for selfish desires
>refuses to use her powers for the benefit of the party for no reason other than that she doesn't want to
>actively aids the enemy by letting her summons sabotage us by refusing to scout and even knocking over lanterns to put out the light

This isn't the neutral 'valuing freedom and living on a whim' anymore. It's open disregard not only for the feelings but also safety of her comrades, to the point of endangering the party
Quote
NeutralEvil (NE). Neutral Evil is the alignment of those who are untroubled by the harm they cause as they pursue their desires.

I may do stupid things sometimes and I am very much untroubled to harm (and eat) beings I consider pests, but you will never see me causing trouble to my comrades and friends on purpose, let alone endanger them. And I do what I am told unless that itself endangers us. So if Ashley's behavior is 'neutral', I never ever want to be accused of being 'evil' again!

With that out of the way, where do we go now? Whatever dug that probably is too big to fit in the man-made tunnels. So we should be safe there. Do we continue North or go back? Kashtan's right, moving straight through the middle with enemies left and right isn't the best idea.

[Joy] She's a hero ordained by the gods.

[Ashley] Nah, I'm just an American girl at heart. Anyway, the level is  pristine other than the giant gopher, what's to worry about? Also, didn't you like put the carcass of a dead animal and spill sewer juice in Freya's sanctuary? Didn't you also abandon the party in the first ever fight to go practice your slime mold pose? Didn't you slap a helpful dragon in the face? Didn't you also threaten to destroy an ancient ecosystem of beautiful angel catfish just to kill other wildlife? These are rhetorical questions. Plus I gave you candy?! Did you say thank you once?

to be fair Alice either had a reason for what she did or apologized to us. but whatever. Yulya has decided to fall back and continue east. we should probably draw maps tp prevent misunderstandings. nobody ended up where she should recently.

I believe Cat said for Yulya to stand behind the barrels while she went North to peek East.

proposal for movements.
Cat falls back to east tunnel. red X is her lantern staying there.
Alice goes to check out whats with the ladder carrying her lantern.
Yulya tosses a rock with LIGHT into the east tunnel (red circle) and then moves into the cavern if Alice determines its safe
Ashley does whatever
