The three of them head off to Harbin Wester's home/shop/store and his door's open, they step in and find him sitting at his desk, writing in his ledger. He stands at your entrance. "Welcome, welcome, oh welcome! What a pleasant surprise! I trust your travels were fair, you certainly are a sight for sore eyes, and how is everyone this fine... cold day? Please tell me you have my supplies."
Yulya bows
Good evening Sir Wester! I am glad to see you are doing well!
Indeed we have acquired all the supplies you asked for! We managed our trip without greater difficulties though we encountered some bandits and bears on Triboar Trail. I am afraid the route is still not fully safe.

Ashley taps Cat's pack and the supplies are soon handed over. He looks through the box and couldn't be happier. "yes yes! Thank you so much for this, and your payment, worth every copper." He hands you 24 gold, Ashley takes her cut 1 gold.

"And I hope you haven't forgotten about my samples," he says with some apprehension.

"Don't worry your little head about it, I'll take care of that personally. Just lend me a prospector's pick and I'll hand it back with everything I could find when we've cleared out the mine."
Harbin walks over to a crate on the side and picks out a small sharp implement like a mini-pickaxe, "Certainly Ms. Ashley, I'll await your return with baited breath."
Yulya watches the scene with mixed feelings but remains silent.
We shall report back as soon as we have investigated the mine. I cannot say how long it will take - it depends on what we will face in there.
Now if you excuse us, the journey was long and the weather awful. We shall eat and rest at Stonehill Inn! Good Night Sir Wester!

Yulya bows again as they leave. On their way to the Inn Yulya speaks her mind
I really hope we are not dragged into something with the ore samples. It is not our mine after all and Sir Sildar did not seem to think highly of Sir Harbin.
I do hope the Rockseekers make it back safely...

Ashley unloads the 5 full rations she's been carrying forever into the cart
Cat looks at Ashley's full rations with bewilderment
Nyaa I didn't know you had those the entire time Nya! But that's great Nya more rations is always good Nya!

Cat says her goodbye to Sandra Sophia and Hobby

Cat again is positively surprised by the noble's behavior.
Hello Nya!
Got all your things here Nya!

Cat remembers she wants to do more research about the bandits
Nyaah yes Nya very well organized and equipped bandits Nya! They wanted to rob a trader's carriage Nya!
We beat a few Nya and they all had silver brooches Nya looked elvish Nya and a whistle Nya! It had the symbol of a ship on it Nya! Do you know any organization like that Nya? Looks like they wanna cut off Phandalin from trade Nya. We asked in Neverwinter Nya but nobody had an idea about those guys Nya!

Cat's tail sways back and forth

Got all your things here Nya!

"It is greatly appreciated." He said with a nod.

We managed our trip without greater difficulties though we encountered some bandits and bears on Triboar Trail. I am afraid the route is still not fully safe.

Nyaah yes Nya very well organized and equipped bandits Nya! They wanted to rob a trader's carriage Nya!

He bristled as if tasting something sour, "Oh I'm not surprised, but travel is never fully safe on a tributary like the Triboar Trail. This is why we need that mine up and producing high quality metals, we will pave that road in gold and mithril and it'll be a High Road connecting East to West guarded by Phandalin knights!" he laughed to himself, "When I finish building the castle, I'll be sure to invite you kind ladies, an open invitation in fact! We'll dine on the finest pork and lamb, and drink fresh apple cider till dawn!"

We beat a few Nya and they all had silver brooches Nya looked elvish Nya and a whistle Nya! Do you know any organization like that Nya?

"Oh I wouldn't know anything about bandits but, brooches you say? Oh if you have any of them I'd gladly pay 8 gold each for them. No, make it 9 gold in any condition and call it a road service fee for those bandits!"

We asked in Neverwinter Nya but nobody had an idea about those guys Nya!

"Oh I'm sure someone there would know, it's a big city with an informaiton trade network but some things are free if you ask the right people."

I hope Gundren's back when we make it out of the mine Nya.

After his jovial outburst and vengeful spitting, he became a little more sobered at Cat's comment, "godspeed to those dwarves! We need the Rockseekers here to help make it all happen, and of course a working mine that's not infested with... whatever it is you find down there."

I do hope the Rockseekers make it back safely...

"Indeed." He agreed,

"The infestation is probaby just giant god-like spiders." Ashley said offhandedly.

A shiver ran down his spine, "God-spiders? Oh is that all." he rolled his eyes, "well then I have something for you ladies that I hope will help give you an advantage if you need it, I just ask if you don't use them then return them before you're off again please." In an outrageous act of generocity he daintily counted four bottles out of a crate under his desk and placed them in a line. "These are ugh, so expensive and for nothing, I always wanted to start my own line... if I only knew what secret ingredient they put in these, no alchemist will tell me." He looked seriously at Ashley, "of course that would be a crime to steal well guarded secrets from the Alchemist Guild. But..." He looked away, "if someone should haappen to find out, that kind of informaiton would be worthy of a partnership that could pay dividends ad nausium."

The bottles glimmered in the light as if giving off more light than they took in. One would be a fortune only used in dire situations, four was obscenely generous even if just loaned out.

Ashley took one and slipped it in her pack. "I'll try not to die before I get your ores... and if I'm dead, dead girls tell no tales about secret ingredients and all. Thanks."

[Harbin has let you "borrow" four bottles of Greater Healing potion, 1lb each, Heals 4d4+4 on Use, their value is 100gp each and they are sold like jewelry without any trade penalty. This does not require an action, it is a Use action]

We shall report back as soon as we have investigated the mine. I cannot say how long it will take - it depends on what we will face in there.
Now if you excuse us, the journey was long and the weather awful. We shall eat and rest at Stonehill Inn! Good Night Sir Wester!

"It's that time of day already? I'm off to the Inn soon myself then, maybe I'll see you all there." He waved as you left.

I really hope we are not dragged into something with the ore samples. It is not our mine after all and Sir Sildar did not seem to think highly of Sir Harbin.

"I wonder why Sildar was so grumpy about him, he seems okay."

[At the Inn]

Ha, I KNEW I'd find you here! Good evening Miss Barthen! We delivered all your requested supplies!

Summer waved while crinkling her nose.

Ms Barthen gave a modest glance of tolerance, "I appreciate it so long as your partner doesn't swindle that worthless employ of mine."

Alice turned to Summer again.

We were worried you'd get eaten on the way you know? We can't afford another rescue mission!

She shrugged, "I've been too busy to be eaten, so to my voracious hunters I say, catch me if you can!"

Did you make it all the way here on your own?

She smiled, "yes and it was amazing fun; I made it in one day! Why do those drivers insist on such slow plotting, my horses love to run!"

Elmina laughed at her, clearly amused by her spirit.

Nice outfit by the way.

She looked down at her clothes, "These old things? Thank you, but I actually am not that concerned out here."

"A lady must always hold her presentation in highest regard!" Elmina corrected Summer.

"You remind me of my court, they're always so concerned with keeping up appearances. I prefer to have my nose burried in a book than covered in powder."

"It's the impudence of youth, you'll grow out of such notions when you realize how much they matter," She said and then eyed Alice's outfit, withholding comment.

How do you like my wofl cloak?

"Wofl? I can't keep all these creatures strait, it looks like a fox fur to me, but it's certainly cute!" Summer went back to eating then said, "I'm glad you made it, I will be leaving tomorrow morning, I have business in Conyberry while I'm out here, but I'll be back in a couple days, wait for me before you go to the dragon."

"Maan, I'm hungry! That was a journey, we walked all day through that icy cold. The wind was the worst!

Summer listens with earnest, "Hm, yes we need that to end, but in the meantime, try the mutten, it's delicious."

Elmina nodded, "yes, and the cider, these are the few things I look forward to out here."

"Yes, the cider!" Summer agreed taking a small sip of her cup.

There's no indication they note anything unusual about Alice and her fixed, doll-like stare though it could be from their extensive training in dealing with the dead, soulless fish eyes of nobility.

Yulya, Cat and Ashley arrive at the Inn.

Cat is won over at the word 'cider'
Ooh a castle Nya? In Phandalin Nya? With food and drink I wont's say no to this Nya!

"Oh I wouldn't know anything about bandits but, brooches you say? Oh if you have any of them I'd gladly pay 8 gold each for them. No, make it 9 gold in any condition and call it a road service fee for those bandits!"
Nyahaha I like that idea Nya! We'll bring you some if we ever run into them again!

"I have something for you ladies that I hope will help give you an advantage if you need it, I just ask if you don't use them then return them before you're off again please." Cat stares at the potions from all side like they were a treasure

Nyaa I have never seen anything like that Nya! Are you sure Nya? But this will greatly aid us Nya thank you Nya! That's really nice of you Nya! I will take one for Alice Na she's already at the Inn Nya!
Cat carefully packs 2 potions into her backpack and says a cheerful goodbye to the unusual noble

I really hope we are not dragged into something with the ore samples. It is not our mine after all and Sir Sildar did not seem to think highly of Sir Harbin.
"I wonder why Sildar was so grumpy about him, he seems okay."
Cat is left with a shaken world-view as they are on their way to Stonehill Inn
Nyaa I don't get it either Nya. Nicest and most normal noble I ever met Nya! But surely he wants this town Nya and the mine to prosper Nya. He'd hurt himself otherwise Nya..
Hey Yulya Nyaa can't Alice find out what that potions are made of Nya?

Yulya, Cat and Ashley arrive at the Inn.
Cat swings the door open
We're here finally Nyaa! Let's eat and drink Nya!

Cat spots Alice, Summer and Elmina
There you are Nya!

Ms Barthen gave a modest glance of tolerance, "I appreciate it so long as your partner doesn't swindle that worthless employ of mine."
Alice briefly wonders about the employ remark as she had assumed Hobby was Elmina's boyfriend or husband, not an employee.
Ah yes, Ashley, she is a troublesome one...

Alice also notices that Elmina appears to be some sort of guardian or at least fellow noble for Summer. That should solve the problem as who is supposed to look after her.

I made it in one day! Why do those drivers insist on such slow plotting, my horses love to run!"
Elmina laughed at her, clearly amused by her spirit.
Yeah we saw your tracks at the fork of triboar trail as you went around the corner at full speed. Reckless as always.
It took us 3 endless days of walking with our mule divas. Seriously, we work for them not the other way round.

"Wofl? I can't keep all these creatures strait, it looks like a fox fur to me, but it's certainly cute!"
There were hordes of wofls at the goblin den we cleared. Yulya fried most of them with some insane spell but I managed to collect some fine ears! But in here I finally feel warm enough!
Alice takes off the wofl cloak and enjoys the warmth in her Yukata.

"I'm glad you made it, I will be leaving tomorrow morning, I have business in Conyberry while I'm out here, but I'll be back in a couple days, wait for me before you go to the dragon."
Alice lets out a laugh
Don't worry, we're not going anywhere near that thing without you! We'd be dead in a blink without your magic! Also we have to clear a mine from some giant demonic undead spider first.

try the mutten, it's delicious."
Elmina nodded, "yes, and the cider, these are the few things I look forward to out here."
"Yes, the cider!" Summer agreed taking a small sip of her cup.
Mutten?
Alice has no idea what a mutten could be and after her faux-pas with mistaking leek for fish, she decies to consult the menu. Especially for prices.

Yulya, Cat and Ashley arrive at the Inn.
Alice spots them and waves them over
Here we are!

"When I finish building the castle, I'll be sure to invite you kind ladies, an open invitation in fact! We'll dine on the finest pork and lamb, and drink fresh apple cider till dawn!"
Yulya is not  too keen in getting involved with - anything - and tries to wind herself out in a polite way.
We appreciate the generous offer, Sir Wester! But first we have a giant-spider-infested mine to clear and a dragon to kill - and survive!

A shiver ran down his spine, "God-spiders? Oh is that all." he rolled his eyes, "well then I have something for you ladies that I hope will help give you an advantage if you need it, I just ask if you don't use them then return them before you're off again please." The bottles glimmered in the light as if giving off more light than they took in. One would be a fortune only used in dire situations, four was obscenely generous even if just loaned out.
Yulya looks at the potions with an open mouth

In Eldaths name - are you serious? We are forever in your debt if we accept this...
Seeing Ashley and Cat take the potions Yulya sighs and takes hers then bows
I am very grateful for your kindness. We shall do our best to clear the mine and get rid of that dragon - or whatever is the source of the unusual cold.

Hey Yulya Nyaa can't Alice find out what that potions are made of Nya?
I doubt it will be this easy but we shall ask her.
Yulya envisions herself sipping deeper and deeper into noble affairs

"I wonder why Sildar was so grumpy about him, he seems okay."
Okay?
Yulya responds with bewilderment
This man just gave us potions for 400 gp. I mean Cat is right it is a strategic investment on his part but yet...

Yulyas paranoia kicks in
Either this man is playing some grand scheme to win us over and put us in debt so he can abuse his power later or he really has no ill intention. But that would mean...
Yulya brushes the thought aside as equally troublesome.

Also I would like Summers opinion the matter if we find her - which I hope!
Let us eat and rest for now!

Yulya timidly enters the Inn after Cats loud appearance. Glad that she spots familiar faces - and most of all that Summer is here-  she heads over to them.
Good evening Miss Barthen and Summer! I see you are doing well! I am relieved to find you here.

Ooh a castle Nya? In Phandalin Nya? With food and drink I wont's say no to this Nya!

We appreciate the generous offer, Sir Wester! But first we have a giant-spider-infested mine to clear and a dragon to kill - and survive!

"Yes, not just survive, thrive, we should all grow hearty and succeed all expectations!" Harbin raises his fist in celebration, but his smile soon faded, "It's a dream anyway, my mother always said reach for the stars but settle for the moon. I'm a hopeless romantic, I know. I told this to Elmina and she quipped I should settle for a graveyard the way we're headed."

Suddenly this larger than life, sturdy gadabout was rendered meek to your eyes, the veil of confidence wavered just enough to see the man behind the mask of overbearing confidence, a rare glimpse of frailty, brought out by a kind ear in a moment of gratefulness and genuine fear.

"She's likely more right than not unfortunately, we don't even have a militia, we're one orc raid from devastation. But I'd be a 2nd rate baron of nothing in Neverwinter, here I can aspire to be king." He recovered his normal rivalrous demeanor and paused, "sacrifices were made that can't be unmade, but these are investments in the future of every soul in this town, for it is better to dream and fail, than to fail for not trying. I wish you all the best, please make it back safely."

This will greatly aid us Nya thank you Nya!

He smiles like his heart has grown two sizes, "You're welcome, I just hope it's enough."

Either this man is playing some grand scheme to win us over and put us in debt so he can abuse his power later or he really has no ill intention. But that would mean...

Ashley laughs but then it spawns a thought, "Wait a minute, could Sildar be up to something here? Maybe heee wants to be king. A trade guard with aspirations for grandeur. Could it really go that deep? Could it be true that in a vacuum of power all scramble for the top? Even for this little town?" She looks up, carefully thinking, "Naa. But something does smell fishy here. Put on your trap smelling nose Cat, we might be in for something over our heads. something tells me a spider is the least of our worries in that mine."

As you walked to the Inn she was thinking hard, "Okay, next time we catch someone, we're going to get to the bottom of this even if the means are not pleasant."

The look in her eye was as dark as her hair, she couldn't hurt a fly, but she could summon beasts who who live to do her bidding. Biting, scratching, powerful beasts driven to follow her command; thoughtless, emotionless, with no hint of morality to get in the way. They are echoes of her own soul, a wild huntress to her core, remorseless and stoic in her quest, and for the protection of those she cares about.

You enter the inn, wafts of sweet smelling meat and the clanking of mugs assail your senses. The din of alcohol fueled merriment, strong enough to wash away all darkness of their situation.

Alice spots them and waves them over Here we are!

There you are Nya!

Good evening Miss Barthen and Summer! I see you are doing well! I am relieved to find you here.

Elmina's had quite a big mug of cider for a halfling by now and almost manages a smile until she spots Ashley.

Summer waves joyfully as if she never had a care in the world. Surpassing only Harbin in her confidence but without any hint of weakness, confident to her core whether justifiably or not. Her rosy cheeks betraying her involvement with the sharp, sweet necter.

"Hey," Ashley greets.

The table is getting crowded but after a couple chairs are borrowed you're all cozily snuggled in this table for four. A light music fills the air, they have a minstrel and the bar erupts in applause at the distraction. Truly not a care in world can penetrate this place, out here on the precipice of civilization, amid impending doom. Even Edermath has shown with his companion Daylinn, sitting at the bar and talking to Toblen.

Alice makes space so everyone fits at the table
So, did everything go well with Harbin? You got more gold coins for me?

I just wanted to get one! I'll be back in a blink!
Looking for a menu, Alice spots Daran at the bar and pays him a visit, absorbing every trace of dirt from her body on the way, and therefore squeakily clean. Though Alice finds Daran's attitude highly entertaining in general, the issue with her ship needs to be clarified at some point. But not today...
Ah, Master Edermath, Good Evening!
We have returned from Neverwinter! We were just about to order some cider! Mr. Stonehill, can I have a menu pls? I heard mutten was recommended but I don't know about it. Can you explain the dish to an outsider like me?

Yulya nods.
Yes that was my thought and it is not a pleasant one. It does raise questions about Sir Sildar without doubt. The issue is that we have little idea about the factions in this town and their relationships and intentions. Sir Harbin  Sir Sildar the Rockseekers  Sir Edermath - or someone beyond that. Remember the Kobolds said Phandalin was just ruins after an Orc raid. If the mine is truly valuable -  and Sir Gundren appeared to have a map of great importance -  far greater powers might be interested of making the entire town disappear to take over that mine. Think about the increased abundance of monsters that drove us to Neverwinter. Gundrens abduction. The dragons and the cold. It all serves to isolate Phandalin and make living there unpleasant...
Sir Edermaths reputation doesnt seem t be the best either and he appeared to welcome the cold. I doubt that he would drive the people out though. Who would buy his cider? And then there is the issue with Alices ship...
Yulyas paranoia has increased

Truly not a care in world can penetrate this place, out here on the precipice of civilization, amid impending doom. Yulya glances over at Edermath and relaxes a bit in the joyful atmosphere
How have you been Summer? I am sure Alice told you but there was a huge commotion after your disappearance from Neverwinter.
I also bring great news from Sir Harbin. Not only did we receive our pay...
Yulya hands Alice 20gp
...but also a present of great value. Four actually!

Yulya discretely puts her potion on the table
Cat has one for you too Alice!

I just wanted to get one! I'll be back in a blink!
Looking for a menu, Alice spots Daran at the bar and pays him a visit
Now I am tired and hungry but before I can relax  - I must apologize but Miss Elmina and Summer - I must ask you about Sir Harbin and what you know about the relationships in this village in general. Sir Harbin has always shown great kindness to us yet Sir Sildar has warned us not to get involved with him. What is going on here? We are not merely investing our funds to secure supplies but  are actually risking our lives for this town - clearing out the goblin den and now securing the mine and fighting the dragon or whatever is the source of this cold. But we cannot do so if we do not know what and who we are dealing with. Who has an interest in making Phandalin fail? Someone is clearly putting an enormous effort into making people leave from this place. And I assume the mine is the reason. Miss Elmina - who would profit from that? Has anyone shown interest in acquiring the mine? Summer do you have an idea who - or what being other than a god has the power to create a cold spell that affects entire regions? The whole thing causes me great worry. It might all be a few magnitudes bigger than we expected. To think that this started as a simple escort mission for Sir Gundren...

Yulya leans back closes her eyes and sighs.
Now where is the menu? What is Alice taking so long?

Who would buy his cider?

"I'm pretty sure I saw his cider mark at the guild in Neverwinter, I don't think he cares and a powerful guy like that wouldn't care about orcs, he could wipe them out."

[As you all arrive]

How have you been Summer? I am sure Alice told you but there was a huge commotion after your disappearance from Neverwinter. I also bring great news from Sir Harbin. Not only did we receive our pay but also a present of great value. Four actually!

Yulya hands Alice one of the potions and shows one to Summer.

Summer glanced at it, "oh a greater potion of healing, nice." Her eyes were slightly glazed as she sipped her cider.

Where's the menu Nya? Let's order Nya! I want some cider Nya!

I just wanted to get one! I'll be back in a blink!

Ah, Master Edermath, Good Evening!
We have returned from Neverwinter! We were just about to order some cider! Mr. Stonehill, can I have a menu pls? I heard mutton was recommended but I don't know about it. Can you explain the dish to an outsider like me?

Alice was pointed to a print on the wall, the menu hadn't changed. The only additions were the cider, 5cp, and mutton flank steak 2sp.

Toblen simply said, "it's grilled sheep flank."

Edermath reeled when he realized who it was he dared to smell and not finding any hint of goblin he relaxed, "oh this thing here, what a marvel of arcane, did you know it asks questions and demands answers. Thank goodness its owner washed it, it reeked of goblin when I last saw it at the house."

"Hello little feaquinaur," Daylinn said, obviously well into her wine, her breath smelling of an aged keg.] "What funny questions you have."

"Thing?"

"Why yes the hands are a dead giveaway but it's still marvelous you see it's a soulless unfeeling automaton or animated doll, a miracle really. Oh, while it's here..." Daran took out a wand and touched it to Alice's shoulder, it sparked with energy jumping static and causing her hair to stand end but it didn't hurt. He took out a lens and looked through it at the result of the static against her, "Ah, not quite the same, hm."

"What is it Daren?" Daylinn said, leaning in way too close.

"Whatever is powering this thing, isn't the same as the crashed ship. It is however quite the enigma. Andras will have to deal with it now."

"Oh, I love him, isn't he amazing, he'll figure it out," Daylinn said.

Daren bristled, "yes well, he's a master of the arcane in many realms so I suppose if anyone can he can. Oh I wonder what he'd do with the little what did you call it dear?"

Daylinn giggled.

"At any rate, move along go bother someone else," Daran said dismissively.

"Mechanism or not if she's a paying customer she's welcome where she likes."

"Yes yes..." Daren acquiesced dismissively then sipped his brandy. "I shall attempt apple brandy, the cold temperatures will do wonders for flavor."

...

I must apologize but Miss Elmina and Summer - I must ask you about Sir Harbin and what you know about the relationships in this village in general.

Elmina looked at Yulya bleary-eyed by this line of questioning, "I daresay if it's not that lout Harbin, then I don't have the foggiest. I've not dealt with Sildar enough to know his nature. Though I wouldn't say Harbin is talented enough or smart enough to do anything beyond shystering anyone he meets. As for this cold snap, I can't venture a guess on that, but Sir Edermath has ventured to investigate, he may know more."

Summer shrugged, her face half buried in her mug, then looked up and began rattling off possibilities, "the dragon is involved, that's my guess, though I doubt he could do this weather manipulation. It's not Weather Control, though powerful, it couldn't reach Phandalin, not by a long way, and never to be sustained this long. That would take boosting beyond my imagination, immense mana reserves, well beyond anything anyone I know could do, even my masters would be hard pressed to do that. Maybe with a very very large focus but even that would have to run out eventually. I'll know more when I get closer."

I also bring great news from Sir Harbin. Not only did we receive our pay but also a present of great value. Four actually!
Yulya hands Alice 20gp
Oh neat!
A appetizer! Thanks!
Alice swallows the 20gp

Yulya hands Alice one of the potions and shows one to Summer.
Summer glanced at it, "oh a greater potion of healing, nice."
Alice looks at the strange potion and tilts her head
Hmm...
Looks - expensive?
Hearing its worth Alice lets out a laugh
Well, that's something! I guess I must thank that man when I see him. Now put that away, we don't need anybody to notice this treasure!

Alice puts the potion in her backpack and goes to look for the menu while singing
Mutten, mutten!

Alice was pointed to a print on the wall, the menu hadn't changed. The only addition was the cider, 5cp.
Toblen simply said, "it's grilled sheep flank."
Sheep flank?
Alice remembers the funny animals she saw at Daran's Orchard
Sounds good but...

Alice squints at the menu and then back at Toblen
I hate to be bothersome Mr. Stonehill but it's not on the menu! How much is it if I may ask?

Edermath reeled when he realized who it was he dared to smell and not finding any hint of goblin he relaxed, "oh this thing here, what a marvel of arcane, did you know it asks questions and demands answers. Thank goodness its owner washed it, it reeked of goblin when I last saw it at the house."
Daran took out a wand and touched it to Alice's shoulder, it sparked with energy jumping static and causing her hair to stand end but it didn't hurt.
"At any rate, move along go bother someone else," Daran said dismissively.

"Mechanism or not if she's a paying customer she's welcome where she likes."
Alice smiles at Toblen
It's fine, it's fine Mr. Stonehill. I do not mind, it's Master Edermath after all! However...

Alice leans in and stares Daran in the eyes with a creepy smile while whispering to him
You are mistaken in one point, Master Edermath!
It is not THE crashed ship, it is - MY crashed ship!
And I strongly advise you to stay with your wonderful apple trees instead, Master Edermath. You have no, not even the slightest idea what you are dealing with. Horrors beyond your imagination are lurking in the eternal void between the stars - and experimenting with the Living Metal means luring them right here! You will not be able to contain it, nobody will! At least not for long. In the end you will destroy this entire world. Its nature, its population, even its gods. Nothing will remain... especially not your little wizard friend. Oh no, he will be the first to go! His fate is already sealed...
But I have faith in your wisdom, Master Edermath! It is still not too late, not yet!

Alice backs away and gives a horrifying persiflage of a cute wink
'Curiosity killed the cat', I believe is a saying that is quite universally understood! I shall not bother you further tonight, I have received all the answers I needed. Until we meet again, Master Edermath!

Alice turns to Toblen as she leaves
I think we are ready to order at our table, Mr. Stonehill!

Alice returns and overhears Yulya's and Elmina's conversation. She sits down with a cheerful face, shaking her head.
Oh Daran... What a shame!
Hey, does anyone of you know a sorcerer by the name Andras? Looks like he's our guy.

Daran very patiently waits for Alice to leave. "well whoever made that thing did wonders in making it talk, now they need to work on making it quiet."

Daylinn laughed, "it's a wonder, no wonder it's maker abandoned it, I'd love to meet a later model though."

"I'm pretty sure I saw his cider mark at the guild in Neverwinter, I don't think he cares and a powerful guy like that wouldn't care about orcs, he could wipe them out."

Yulyas discomfort intensifies
Sir Edermath? Who is Andras?
Alice what have you found out?
And where's the menu?

Ashley points out the menu on the wall and considers what to order...[Shown previously, I added the 2sp for the mutton in the previous post.]
