She takes out his head and places it on her lap. Does anybody need the fur-lined boots?

Seeing her trophy, the girls are horrified, frightened and confused, the dwarf scoots a few inches away. Therefore there are no takers for the boots, and their apprehension excludes them from understanding your further mad ramblings.

Alice please put your trophy away you are scaring the girls! ...heartfelt speech...

Yulya's statement helps diffuse the situation, keeping it from descending further into chaos and her speech causes your guests to bow their heads in silent prayer for a fallen friend. Everyone is looking forward to leaving.

I can remove it at any time right Nya?

Though the rings magically resize themselves, both rings seem to be able to be added and removed freely.

[Even the Ring of the Badger can be removed before it activates each day.]

A few hours later, the morning light finally begins to filter in, everyone feels stronger.

[Please officially restate all the improvements you gain by leveling to 5 here, Cat, I would like you to choose an alternate feat that you can use immediately, you will be allowed to swap them later if you choose, include all changes from your leveling, HP gain, proficiency gain, etc. I will incorporate only these changes so don't forget anything.]

Yulya leaves the tent and stretches.
It is time for our departure! Let us return to Phandalin!

Cat prepares a warm and boringly normal breakfast worth 1 ration for everyone.
Nyaa we may not be able to eat this comfortably out there Nya so enjoy it Nya!

Cat looks at the traps.
Yulya Nya should we leave them in place Nya? We cannot carry all that rope anway Nya.

Cat tries to approach the girls and Kingir in a non-intimidating but authoritative way.
Nyaa I am really sorry Nya but you will have to carry your share Nya! It should be manageable for you Nya!

Cat hands Ashley's backpack to Elaine, a sack to Jonie and Ashley's shield to Kingir.

Cat moves out onto the palisades to survey the area. If necessary she digs away the snow so the gate can be opened.
Kingir please make sure we stay on track Nya! I am confident in my navigation abilities Nya but they aren't perfect in this snow Nya! I strongly rely on scent Nya and I Can't smell anything Nya...

Seeing her trophy, the girls are horrified, frightened and confused, the dwarf scoots a few inches away. Therefore there are no takers for the boots, and their apprehension excludes them from understanding your further mad ramblings.
Alice looks back with equal bewilderment. Here we have the finest fur-lined bots, gloves, jackets and cloaks, and those people would rather freeze out there in the cold. Alice concludes that they must be near-immune to cold and shrugs. She tries to put on more layers but the gloves and boots are far too large. She settles for Alric's fur-lined woolen cloak as a top layer over her wofl cloak. Outside Alice will now wear the following layers:
Vest of Protection
Yukata
Miner's overall
Wofl cloak
Alric's cloak
Warm shoes
Miner's gloves
Nezzer's head skin as face mask

Not warm but at least much warmer than before, Alice heads out, stuffed like a Marshmallow Man.

Alice tries to sleep hidden under her pile of clothes, so she doesn't bother the racist guests with her alien appearance.

Cat prepares a warm and boringly normal breakfast worth 1 ration for everyone.
Nyaa we may not be able to eat this comfortably out there Nya so enjoy it Nya!
Alice looks a bit disappointed the cooking was toned down for the guests, but warm food is warm food
Thank you, Cat! Don't worry, I'll always appreciate your cooking! We got a ton of supplies here, I'm sure we can cook awesome rations in Toblen's kitchen!

[Time: ??, Spring ??, 07:00, 9C Inside, -10C Light Breeze, Clear Outside]

Cat burdens her guests with toil.

They accept whatever burden you give them to carry regardless of the strain, or consequence, without a fuss.

Your current walking speed is 2mph, limited by Kingir. Kingir appreciates the Shield and laments not having his Greataxe. He speaks of it fondly and describes a time when he used it to take out a bear single-handedly.

Cat moves out onto the palisades to survey the area and digs away the snow so the gate can be opened.

Kingir also speaks of the best route back to town, "I'm certain it will take all day to walk it in my current state, I  hope the weather holds up. It may be cold with deep snow but another blizzard will be suicide to travel in."

Alice is satisfied she won't freeze to the point of uselessness as long as the temperature remains -10C or better.

Kingir and the girls eat their fill and are ready to embark.

[You are about to embark, please state any further actions before you begin, when you are ready, say so explicitly.]

As you look out across the powdery landscape, you see only hare and fox prints disturbing the otherwise pristine snow.

Your current walking speed is 2mph, limited by Kingir. Kingir appreciates the Shield and laments not having his Greataxe. He speaks of it fondly and describes a time when he used it to take out a bear single-handedly.
Cat looks through the loot she is carrying, which includes all weapons
Nyaa, greataxe Nyaa...
Nyope, no greataxe Nya, didn't find one Nya! Except for the huge one Nya in the swinging trap Nya. From that bugbear commander Nya. Too heavy even for me Nya! I can offer you this warhammer Nya, We also have a mace Nya, longsword Nya, shortsword Nya, dagger Nya, shortbow Nya and even Nyaa - these heavy crossbows Nya! Choose what you like Nya but don't burden yourself even more Nya! We don't expect you to fight Nya. Protecting yourself and the girls from stray arrows is enough Nya!

If Kingir insists on a weapon, Cat will give it to him including the necessary ammunition.

Kingir also speaks of the best route back to town, "I'm certain it will take all day to walk it in my current state, I  hope the weather holds up. It may be cold with deep snow but another blizzard will be suicide to travel in."
Nyaa we had that Nya! Dug a snow fort Nya! As long as there's enough snow we will manage Nya. But it would pin us down Nya. I hope we can reach Phandalin without a rest Nya. Alice isn't good with cold Nya!
Cat points to her teammate, looking like an absurdly overstuffed doll with all her layers.

As you look out across the pristine landscape, you see only hare and fox prints disturbing the otherwise powdery snow.
Good Nya! If we catch an animal Nya, should we strap that whiste to it Yulya Nya?

Let's go Nya! I wanna drink at Toblen's Nya!
Cat cheerfully heads out in the snow, occasionally listening and sniffing for unusual signs.

Kingir hears of the greataxe you used as a trap and goes to investigate.

waiting for the others Yulya looks through her stuff and finds the Ring of Warding.
Goodness, how could I almost have lost something like this!

Yulya puts the ring on her finger and charges it with spirit guardians.

If we catch an animal Nya, should we strap that whistle to it Yulya Nya?
Yulya thinks for a moment.
No I assume the brooches may be used to track us as well. I would like to keep this item and have it investigated in Phandalin. It works both ways.
Yulya puts the whistle around her neck so she can see it. and occasionally checks it for signs of activity.

Heading out Yulya takes  the role of rear guard.
If only we had Ashey and her summons...
Yulya uses her high perception to make sure nobody follows or ambushes them from behind. She regularly casts guidance on herself and searches the area behind her

Alice skeptically eyes the girls.
Hey, say something if your run out of stamina, ok? We are all packed to the brim, otherwise we would not make you carry anything...

Alice is satisfied she won't freeze to the point of uselessness as long as the temperature remains -10C or better.
Alice takes out Nezzer's skin and puts it on as a face mask
Ahh, that's better! No more chilly wind in the face!

Alice acts as scout and slowly hops ahead in the snow, not exactly mimicking a wofl due to her encumbrance, but more like a odd animal than a human being.

Cat looks at him with pity.
Nya you wouldn't even be able to lift it Nya...
