Yulya notices the commotion and checks the whistle again.
Let us move out of the way but make ourselves seen and heard. I doubt that bandits would act like this - and we do not want to appear suspicious either by hiding! Lets just hope they pass by without needing our help. Stay alert!

Yulya raises her hand as greeting from the side of the road but readies a BLESS spell in case of an attack. She would then cast it on Alice Cat and herself.

Cat packs away her bow and moves aside.
Nyaa is that Summer's carriage?

She tries to remember if Summer's carriage sounded the same.

Alice remains hidden in the undergrowth along the road further ahead, her bow ready, and waits to see what is happening.

You stand aside, Kingir guarding bravely with his fists raised but looking still near death, as the carriage approaches.

Cat's senses catch the unmistakable scent of royalty, a sickeningly sweet scent she remembered well, and here, just a few miles from Phandalin was in fact Summer, but this wasn't the Leilon royal carriage, it was a tricked out transport carriage towed by four Clydesdales.

"Whoa!" She pulled the reigns and the large horses came to a stop, holding back the large carriage. "There you are! Sorry I'm late, the snow was deep in the bend and we almost got stuck."

"Still getting a handle on my boys and girls here. I had to send my carriage back with a messenger, that'll keep them off my tail at least a little while, it was too small to bring the spoils back anyway. Has it really already been a week? Well, I'm sure you'll need a couple days to recover but Phandalin surely isn't doing well, so I brought a shipment from Triboar as well."

Yes, this Enigmatic young girl, matching Alice's apparent age, was once again coming out of nowhere, knowing more than she should, but offering a ride at least the rest of the way to Phandalin.

"Triboar you say? Did you happen to see a kindly dwarven lass at the Stonehill Inn?" Kingir says with a sparkle in his eye.

Summer smiles her characteristic grin, "Indeed and I daresay Lena had a much better selection at her Stonehill than Toblin's. She's doing quite well."

"Aye, Phandalin is modest at best, Old Toblin does his best though."

She steps down and opens the doors on the side of the large cart, the gold accents and fine wood inlays look brand new. Inside the gold thread laced red velvet seats look awfully inviting.

The girls follow Kingir's lead, they don't need to be told twice that they're invited to sit in such luxurious transport. "Sorry the provisions are packed away so a proper dinner will have to wait, but I did stow some Edermath cider under the forward seats with some mugs, help yourself to that and some scones in the basket there as well."

The dreamlike scene is too good to be true but Summer's aura is unmistakable. The undercarriage is packed with crates, the suspension straining under the weight of it all, she's fully loaded but 6 more passengers won't matter much, the passenger compartment, set up plush benches fore and aft could easily accommodate 8 modestly sized passengers.

Summer greets everyone entering, "Summer of Leilon at your service!" She then looks to Yulya, "I must ask, where's Alice and Ashley?"

Cat's ears perk as she gesticuletes wildly
Nyaa I knew it Nya it's Summer Nya!

Cat inspects the carriage and horses
That's some luxurious vehicle you got here Nya! Ashley would have been all over the place Nya...
She puts down her barrel
You sure we can stow all our supplies here Nya? We're packed Nya! Don't wanna damage your carriage Nya or strain the horses Nya...
She then looks to Yulya, "I must ask, where's Alice and Ashley?"
Cat's ears droop.
Alice is over there Nya but Ashley Nya...
Nyaah!

Cat puts Yulya in front of Summer for explanations while the others enters the carriage
Summer Nya want me to help drive Nya? We don't wanna get stuck or have an accident on the last miles Nya!

Alice is over there Nya...
Alice takes off her Nezzer mask, leaps out of the bushes and runs to the others.
Did I hear 'Cider' and 'Edermath'? And am I seeing a warm and comfortable vehicle? Oh hi Summer! Perfect time, glad to see you! Ashley left us to go on beach vacation! Also is somehow in Neverwinter, At least partly. Pardon me, coming through!

Pressing by the others, Alice forces her way into the carriage and spreads out on a plush bench, rolling around like a cat.
Ahhh, civilisation! So much better than being out in a cold dark forest... Oh the cider!

Alice gets the mugs and hands out cider to everyone.
Cheers!

Yulyas tension eases as she realizes it is indeed Summer.
Praised be Eldath! I would never have imagined we would meet a friend out here...

Yulya introduces Kingir and the girls.
A lot has happened in the mine but we managed to clear it from bandits and rescue these ladies and gentleman.
Summer, these are Elaine and Jonie. They were kidnapped from Phandalin. And this is Sir Kingir Grista of Triboar who went to scout ahead for the Rockseekers but was captured.

Summer greets everyone entering, "Summer of Leilon at your service!" She then looks to Yulya, "I must ask, where's Alice and Ashley?"
Yulya apologetically points at Alice as she is rushing into the warm carriage.
As for Ashley - with deep shame and regret I have to confess that she is no longer in this world...

Yulya stares at the ground and folds her hands in prayer before abruptly raising them in a defensive pose.

It's not like it was a tragedy or accident! I could have mitigated that. Instead she chose to leave us on her own volition. Or rather - not to return to the material plane. I shall explain in detail but it will be a long and complicating story. For now I suggest we get going before we attract unwanted attention here...

Summer greets Cat. "It's the minimum I needed. Dragons are heavy things with lots of valuable and rare materials; I couldn't imagine leaving a single scale. I'll also need porters; they'll be hanging back with the carriage when we engage the dragon. There's plenty of room; don't worry about the weight, I'll help pull myself if I have to." She snickers. "I appreciate the offer, but they're going to be finicky by now, so let's not introduce them to a new driver." She invites you to the spacious cabin with the others.

Summer greets Alice, "there you are! Did you change your hair? I like it! The bushes are dangerous at night; we blondies need to stick together, so stay in the light next break. Also, enjoy the cider and the ride!"

She greets Yulya and hears the news, "oh I see, you can choose not to return?" She ponders that. "Well, let's concentrate on getting back safely; it's not too far, and we'll catch up at the Phandalin Stonehill Inn once Hobby secures my payload and horses."

Kinger thanks her for her hospitality, and the girls eye the scones with great interest.

"Help yourselves, ladies; there's enough for everyone, a couple each at least. If there's nothing else? Get comfortable, sorry it's not much warmer in the carriage."

She hops up in the driver's seat and the horses pull so hard at the start you're challenged to stay in your seat. These horses obviously think nothing of this fully loaded cart. You note her make a few somatic gestures and you're sure she cast Mass Invisibility possibly with the use of a large focus or scroll.

Cat is a bit disappointed and would rather sit outside with Summer than in the carriage with its weird noble scents.
N-Nyaa ok Nya...
But if you need help let me know Nya I'm confident in my Land Vehicle and Animal Handling skills Nya.

Having seen the carriage approach at full speed on a trail like this in darkness and remembering the tracks Summer's carriage left while drifting across the corner on the junction of the high road to triboar trail, Cat rates Summer's driving as reckless if not suicidal, mumbling to herself.
Nyaa I hope she has some strengthening magic on the carriage Nya or it won't last long Nya...
