Hobby agrees to Cat and Yulya's requests; supplies are unloaded, then the girls lead Cat and Yulya to their respective homes with respective gushy, touching, and emotionally charged reunions. The respective parents are respectively appreciative and respectfully offer respectable offerings that will, respectively, bankrupt the struggling families if you accept them out of respect.

[Optional Respective Interactions]

Meanwhile Kingir declines Yulya's offer of help; he states that he will get a tab at Stonehill Inn if necessary and walks Alice to the Inn. Upon entering said establishment, there are new dwarven faces about. Kingir sets the stiffening Alice near the hearth and greets said compatriots.

His voice rings out as he tells tales of triumph and conquering, leaving out a few minor details, such as his death, and makes it out that he, and by extension, all dwarves somehow come out ahead against impossible odds as usual. Of course Kingir didn't say much to you about what happened before he was killed, so there's no way to prove or disprove such tales other than he knew about the dead bandits and claimed their deaths by his own actions and axe, which was sadly lost. Before Alice can process it all from her eavesdropping position, Kingir is already rallying a group to return to the mine to secure it and supply it as well as search it and prepare it for operations in the Rockseekers' name. They're celebratory in their acceptance of his triumph, and he's downed two pints of ale before Alice even warms up.

Alice overhears them discussing the Rockseekers while enjoying their ale; apparently they are still MIA but they say under good authority that the siege on the castle is going well, and though they haven't yet given the all clear, a scout has returned with hopeful news that they may be returning soon.

Cat lets out a series of respectfully declining but authoritative  Nyaas.

Ahh, thanks man, this is much better! So much better than the cold ouside or dark damp mines!
Alice remembers the fun and busy atmosphere of the Inn a she first entered.
I missed this place!

Alice smirks but leaves Kingir his faux fame, staying at the fireplace and observing the spectacle from a distance.
From dead stinky meat to the hero eh? Dwarves remind me of children. Always naive, optimistic and full of themselves. Well, if you like to draw the bandits attention to you, that's fine by me!

Rotating before the fireplace like a spit roast pig until she has sufficiently warmed, Alice melts from her pudgy slightly more cold resistant low surface area form to a more sophisticated appearance and gradually removes her extra layers of clothes while listening to the dwarves and looking for suspicious people (other than herself) eavesdropping on their conversation.

Alice overhears them discussing the Rockseekers while enjoying their ale; apparently they are still MIA but they say under good authority that the siege on the castle is going well, and though they haven't yet given the all clear, a scout has returned with hopeful news that they may be returning soon.
Considering the truthfulness of Kingir's report, and the generally amateurish combat skills of all Dwarves she encountered, Alice assumes the Rockseekers must either have been captured or be dead by now. She shrugs.
Not my problem. Going there alone without us was as foolish as Sildar scouting ahead... Oh right, Sildar!

Alice looks around for other familiar faces, including Sildar. If she finds nobody she looks for Toblen and an affordable warm drink.
Haa, that brand sure was nice! But I can't waste more of our gp...

Yulya smiles kindly.

I appreciate the offer but please invest your fortunes in the future of your daughters! However - there are two things I ask of you.:
First live your lives honorably in accordance with the laws of the Gods.
And second - I must inform you that we still do not know who is behind the kidnapping of your girls and what was the purpose of taking them to the mine. So please lay low and be careful for the time being. Bandits might still be in the area. If you notice anything or anyone suspicious please report to us! You will find us in Stonehill Inn! Any information no matter how small is welcome. Now I wish you a pleasant and restful night!

Yulya says goodbye and proceeds to the Inn with Cat.
I still do not understand the entire situation. We all should celebrate and rest but Cat please listen to the conversations in the inn. Someone or several factions have not been truthful to us or even tried to lure us to our deaths in the mine. We cannot trust anyone! Stay vigilant and observe peoples reactions to our return!

Yulyas paranoia has increased

You all find a table in the tavern, the warmth of the space is a welcome relief, the first true warmth you've felt in a week, other then when you were magically set on fire, and Toblin greets you.

"Well well welcome! I hear from Kingir there that there's good news from the mine, didn't you have a fourth? I barely recognized the little one, looks like a little spelunking does wonders for the complexion. My waitress is out for the night, so let me know if you want anything. I would expect Daren wants to speak to you, he arranged a friend of his to speak to you and he expected you back days ago, he keeps asking. I don't remember the name of his friend... mmm Andre? Andrew? He only came in once, a rather stoic man."

Meanwhile Kingir and the dwarves are becoming rowdy and no other useful information is being discussed. There's no one else currently in the tavern.

Alice again looks at herself in confusion and rolls her eyes.
Yeah it was great! So much fun! I wish I could have spent another month in a cold dark mine full of demigod-tier monsters!

didn't you have a fourth?
Alice waves him off
Went on vacation.

Alice jumps up before slumping back into her chair, mumbling to herself
Ah the owl! I hope he comes tomorrow, I'm no in shape to discuss such topics right now...

Alice turns to Toblen
Mr Stooonehill!?
Do you have a nice warm drink for me that doesn't cost several gp? My party will kick me out if I spend that much on a brandy again. Also same menu as before? Any recommendations for today?

When Toblen is gone, Alice tells Yulya and Cat about Kingir's fancy story.
I think it's an asset. The more he brags, the less likely the bandits will target us. But we might have to go on another rescue mission sooner or later. Those guys have no common sense.
