Very nice site!

(This is clearly a spammer again and the message was off-topic where it was posted, so I moved it somewhere more fitting and blanked the email, as I feel like they're just trying to fish for emails in the first place? But at least it isn't spamming links and it's not completely random, so I hope you enjoy your resident bot until it becomes annoying. -Sands)

Too much work Fede, I only have three classes in school (Drama, English, World History), and only English has homework. Very rare at that. And Sands, Idunno.

Stuff is gay. Dad wants to pull me out and home-school. This isn't the first time we've had issues with my school in particular, and most of it isn't even over stuff that matters.

Really though, three of my six classes are online (Abnormal Psychology, Civics, Biology), and I'm actually doing pretty good in those. Heck, I'm even doing good (enough) in World History. Drama and English are meh though, I won't lie. I don't know what the issue is. Heck, the SCHOOL hasn't even put me in an Algebra course, and that's supposed to be mandatory right now. I don't know what they're getting at, aside from "You're gonna bring our funding down with poor grades, so we have to deal with it, even though we haven't even scheduled you everywhere you should be".

Hope I don't go to juvi. Which is legitimately something that could happen if the judge decides she doesn't like me :L

Wait, you have a court summons for poor grades? How would you end up in juvi for that? What would you be sentenced for?

This honestly seems like something my parents threatened me with when I was 2kool4skool.

Obviously something like this would never happen here so it was already too stupid for my kid self to believe. If it's such an issue then change schools, I guess.

I think it might actually be more.. Hmm. Bottom shelf, mandatory, strict as fuck school. That just happens to be like Juvi. Something along the lines of a delinquency school. What I'd have done that excuses that kinda sentencing is beyond me, but the cop dude who mentioned it didn't seem to be messing around.

And Sands, it's not as simple as just switching schools. Dad is getting a job that's gonna take him out of state, and step mom is gonna quit her current job to take care my little brother, cause we'll be able to afford it. To switch schools, she'd have to wake brother up early, along with my sister and I, get my sister ready for the bus in thirty or so minutes, and then drive me out to the nearest bus stop that leads to another school. Plus a lot of other stuff.

Father just spoke with me, and I think he's on board with a GED now. We're all sick of dealing with this stuff. Just hope the court doesn't rule for anything extreme. At best, I probably get some mandatory counseling. Or something

Court goes for Tuesday. Have no clue what I'm supposed to do in school tomorrow, given all of this. Probably just get talked to by the faculty.

But yeah. Total gayness.

Well your "it's not as simple as that" part just seems more like everyone having to make a small sacrifice so that one person in the family doesn't have to make a giant one. It's no brainer to me as to what I feel would be the best choice there. No one seems to like the situation or think that you're wrong in your family or that you deserve this, so I don't see why they would let you take the fall.

Homeschooling isn't exactly easy either, after all. That takes effort from them too. It's a valid option sure, but still not exactly effortless and I'm not sure if it's at all easier than changing to a better school.

But how's those court costs? Isn't the murka way to make the losing party pay the bills? And you seem quite sure that you're going to lose so uh, isn't that going to end up being really expensive?

It's not gonna cost, for some reason. This is a kind of specialized court, for students that we have around here. The judge is good friends with the faculty of the surrounding schools as well, so something is typically done in favor of the schools - that's why I'm sure it's not gonna go well.

And in regards to inconveniences, there's really just not much I can do for it. If nobody would like to take me to another school, which may or may not be better, that's how it pans out. Not like I could walk, or bike or anything anyway.

So eh, idunno. Really though, the more I think about it, the more it seems like I just get thrown into counseling. Which is fine, I guess. Still annoying that any of this is an issue in the first place.
